"I specifically chose a Marriott-affiliated hotel for the May Day holiday. I booked a double room but it only came with one breakfast, though the front desk staff was very kind and gave me an extra one. However, perhaps because it was May Day, there were a lot of people for breakfast and nothing really stood out. I waited in line for noodles for half an hour, and by then, all the toppings were gone 😞. For food delivery, you have to go down to the lobby to pick it up yourself. It's an older hotel, so the facilities are a bit dated, with a somewhat American style. The lobby is quite grand, but I found the lighting in the room a bit dim. When I returned to my room at night, I immediately felt a bit strained on my eyes. It would be great if it were a little brighter."

"This hotel is located inside Yaohu Town, and it's a bit pricier than the other hotel within the town, Yaofang Hotel. **Facilities:** The hotel's first major drawback is parking. The above-ground spots are always full, and the underground parking is in a separate building quite a distance from the hotel. No matter where you park, you have to walk a long way to reach the hotel lobby. The second major issue is the hotel's vast size; it's easy to get lost. Getting to public areas like the breakfast restaurant or the pool requires a significant walk. The hotel seems aware of this, as they station many staff members in the hallways during breakfast hours to guide guests. While the public areas have some flaws, the rooms themselves are quite good and spacious. **Cleanliness:** The hotel's cleanliness is good. **Environment:** Several buildings within the hotel have unique architectural features, attracting many visitors for photos. The views near Yaohu Town are also excellent, and there's a good vantage point to watch fireworks at night. **Service:** Due to the hotel's confusing layout, as mentioned earlier, I asked a staff member for directions to the Xiaoying Chinese Restaurant and was met with a rude response. It's safe to say that this one individual ruined the otherwise good impression created by many other staff members. **Summary:** While Yaohu Grand Hotel has several design flaws, it is undoubtedly the most convenient hotel for exploring Yaohu Town. The value for money is slightly low. It might be a good option for those with a higher budget or those traveling with seniors or children."

"Very, very good, the service staff are very warm and friendly, and they are very satisfied with the fruit and tea pets they sent when they checked in! The bed is very comfortable. I asked for a buckwheat pillow and a bed guard, which were delivered quickly. The pillow is very comfortable, and the bed guard also protects the safety of the children. I slept very soundly! The toilet and bathroom are very clean, and the toilet is fully automatic, which is very convenient and comfortable! I booked a lake view room with a great view. I feel very good when I wake up and go to bed every day! The buffet breakfast is not very varied, but there are three kinds of snacks with Yixing characteristics. "Traveling with children was truly satisfying. I was a little worried after reading some reviews, but it exceeded my expectations. We booked the new A building, which was fantastic. From the moment we got out of the car, everyone was incredibly patient, helping with luggage collection, registration, providing toiletries for the kids, and explaining the hotel facilities. They even had the railings installed on the stairs – a very thoughtful touch. The breakfast the next day was also very plentiful. My daughter, who doesn't like noodles, ate half a bowl of Yixing-style noodles! Not only breakfast, but the play facilities were also amazing. There was a small family center on our floor, and a larger children's playground on the basement level of B building, offering more choices for kids. The service was truly excellent, and the price was incredibly reasonable."

The surrounding area is relatively desolate, but it is very convenient to take a taxi. It is not far from Yaohan Wanda and the high-speed rail station."

"The hotel is located outside the scenic area, so you'll need to take a shuttle bus. Parking can be a bit challenging on weekends, often requiring you to park a little further away. The hotel is quite large with many rooms, and it can be a long walk to the lobby – you might even get lost if you're not familiar with the layout! 😂 However, the hotel's ambiance is excellent, featuring various kiln-related elements. I highly recommend the complimentary travel photography offered by the hotel; the photographer did a wonderful job. The room itself is super spacious, with a large desk perfect for kids to do their homework. The bed was comfortable, and the first-round mini-bar offerings were very generous, along with welcome fruits. Breakfast was also rich and varied, and they even offer takeaway for children who haven't woken up yet, which is incredibly thoughtful. The staff are very enthusiastic, always ready to answer questions, and greet guests proactively. There are various parent-child activities available (like making purple clay pottery and catching crayfish), though these come at an extra cost if not included in your room voucher. While there was a minor hiccup with cleanliness, the subsequent handling of the issue was very satisfactory and easily forgivable."

It is indeed a good place for leisure vacation, summer team building, health and entertainment. If details determine everything, The door is low-key, like a retired master pursuing the ultimate good life, but not ostentatiously, low-key yet luxurious. The service is supreme, beyond five-star. The beautiful scenery of Xishan and the harmony of body and mind. When I came to Yangxian, my thoughts suddenly changed."

"This stay in the train-themed room at Yixing Lanyun Valley was such a delightful surprise! I initially thought it was just a themed design, but it turned out to be a converted real train carriage, complete with tracks and a carriage on the exterior, while the interior was cozy and comfortable. The kids were screaming with excitement! The room was fully equipped, even featuring a balcony and a soaking tub – a truly exceptional experience. The hotel boasts stunning mountain and lake views, nestled against Baima Mountain and facing Yangxian Lake. The scenery is breathtaking; every shot is a masterpiece, far surpassing many scenic spots. We had a wonderful time here with friends. The air was fresh, the environment tranquil, and every corner was picturesque. Perfect for families and vacations, highly recommended! You absolutely must try the train room – it's unforgettable!"

"Very satisfied with the May Day trip. From the moment I entered the hotel, I was greeted by the smiling faces of the hotel staff. They basically responded to my requests and were child-friendly. The snack cart was really great. I wanted to eat a few bites every day. There were pineapple cakes every afternoon, sweet soup in the evening, and breakfast for three people. Fruits were available at the front desk. I was not dissatisfied at all. I will come again next time."

"Environment: The surroundings are really nice. I booked quite late, so the two-bedroom suite I originally wanted wasn't available. I ended up getting a family room with two beds. It's very spacious, has a balcony, and the view is excellent. On New Year's Eve, the hotel even had fireworks 🎆, which was fantastic! The resort grounds are huge, but the weather wasn't great, so I couldn't go to the amusement park. I'll have to come back another time."

"I brought my mother to Yixing for the Christmas holidays. It was the off-season, so there were no other guests. After lunch, we'd grab a coffee at the cafe across the street, sit in the courtyard basking in the sun, close our eyes to listen to the birds chirping, and open them to blue skies and white clouds. Winter is very pleasant when the weather is nice. The meat buns at the guesthouse breakfast were delicious; we even took a box with us when we left. The guesthouse was very comfortable, and the coffee across the street was also very good. It was also very close to various attractions. Five stars!"

"This is the second time I've stayed here. I stayed with two people before. I thought the hotel environment was good, so I brought my baby and my parents this time and booked two rooms for two nights. The housekeeper Xiao Xu called in advance to communicate and said that the hot spring was relatively free during my booking period, and I could upgrade it to a private hot spring for free. Later, he helped to upgrade it to a suite. He told me that I was traveling with a baby, and he also thoughtfully prepared a baby bed and a quilt. The service was great! Pick-up and drop-off were also included when going to the hot spring, and I received a message~ Incredible praise~ On the first day, because there were not many guests in the hotel, breakfast was delivered to the room. I gave a lot and couldn't finish it. During the period, milk, drinks and fruits were also delivered. The service was very enthusiastic, and the facilities in the hotel were very clean. Everyone can rest assured to stay. Before leaving, they also sent black rice, my favorite hahaha~ I will go again if I have the chance."

Leo provided warm and attentive service, calling to confirm our arrival time before check-in and picking us up after we arrived in the town. He also patiently explained the things to know about visiting Yaohu Town. The hotel's large viewing terrace offers a clear view of the nighttime Dragon Soaring Water Show and fireworks."

"The room was very clean. The hotel is located in the mountains, right across from Yangxian Lake. The air is fresh, and the scenery is beautiful. The breakfast was also very rich. Overall, it was excellent! 👍👍👍 Highly recommend."

"The hotel seems to have been recently renovated – there's no unpleasant smell, which is great. The room is quite spacious, and so is the bathroom. We booked a double room, and the bed was large enough for an adult and a child to sleep comfortably. The shower had excellent water pressure and a stable temperature. The breakfast was also good, offering noodles, rice noodles, vermicelli, and mini wontons. The coffee wasn't from a machine but pre-brewed, which was fine overall. The hotel is right across from Yaohan, about 600 meters away, and Wanda Plaza is not far either, roughly a 6-minute drive, so it's a very lively area. Parking is underground and free. There are about 9 charging stations, and they have wheel clamps, which is really good as you don't have to worry about your spot being taken."
