I've stayed at two Sheratons in Zhanjiang, and this one in the city center is definitely much better in terms of conditions and environment than the Four Points by Sheraton in Wuchuan. The room is very spacious, facilities are complete, and the bedding is comfortable. The breakfast is not only abundant but also delicious. Right across the street, you'll find the famous Jinshawan Seaview Corridor, where many people go for morning runs. I happened to catch the sunrise while jogging there in the morning, which put me in a great mood.

Very close to the port, but I was a bit worried about the environment before checking in. Actually, the whole experience was pretty good. Check-in was smooth, and the welcome amenities included practical items like earplugs, hair ties, and compressed disposable towels. They even sent welcome fruit when I checked in past 11 PM. The room's towels and bathrobes were individually packaged and sanitized, and there was a disposable toilet seat cover – really thoughtful details! The 24-hour Lawson downstairs was also very convenient. All in all, aside from the room being a bit small and the facilities not being super new, I'd still highly recommend it. Good value for money! 👍

This is my third time staying at this hotel. There are many similar establishments in the area, and rooms are randomly assigned across three buildings. This time, I was on the 2nd floor, so the view wasn't spectacular, but lower floors have their advantages, like not having to wait for elevators during peak hours. The room's amenities are well worth the 200+ price tag. However, if there aren't any exhibitions at the National Exhibition and Convention Center, it's really quiet around here – a hidden gem for budget travelers. Not much else to say, so I'll just share some photos to help you find your way (because of energy-saving measures at the subway station, you'll likely need to exit from C and take the stairs next to C2 up to the overpass. Cross the road, turn left, and you'll see what's in my first picture. Keep following the path in the photos until you reach ANOBOT, then follow that corridor, take the elevator down, and turn left. You'll then see what's in the 7th picture – I forgot to photograph the entrance itself. In the last picture, keep walking until you pass the second apartment building, and you'll quickly see it. The very last photo is its entrance.

The facilities are a bit old, and the main control panel isn't located near the entrance, which is a bit inconvenient. The room had a slightly damp smell, which seems to be a common issue for hotels by the sea. The cleanliness was excellent. However, the toilet was square-shaped, so the toilet seat cover I brought didn't fit, and the hotel didn't seem to provide disposable ones. The environment was great, and the service was excellent. I was also very happy with the complimentary travel photoshoot – even without sunlight, the photos turned out beautifully, and the people looked very natural.

My stay at Le Méridien Huizhou Xiaojing Bay was actually pretty good. I saw a lot of negative reviews and was hesitant about coming, but I decided to give it a try in the end. After all, nothing is perfect, and I wanted to experience it for myself.
I chose to check in before the holiday to avoid the crowds, so the hotel wasn't at full capacity that day. They proactively upgraded my room and, during check-in, provided a detailed introduction to the fire dance performance and essential room and hotel information.
Regarding the room, I stayed on the west side, near the pool and greenway. The sea view was fantastic. I saw many people debating whether the sea view was 180 degrees, even complaining and giving bad reviews over it. I honestly find that hard to understand. A vacation is about relaxing, enjoying the comfort and tranquility of the seaside, not obsessing over angles. The view was already spacious enough. Do you really need to be in the middle of the sea for it to be perfect, haha? The room was a bit humid, but I accepted it. If you choose to stay by the sea, you have to accept that with the current weather in Guangdong, it's like that everywhere, especially by the sea.
The hotel staff were very friendly; everyone greeted me. Even the cleaning aunties said hello.
Right outside the hotel is a commercial street that can meet basic needs, and the greenway is within walking distance – an excellent choice for a walk or bike ride 🚴♀️ in the morning or after dinner.
Overall, the experience was quite good, not as exaggerated as many reviews suggested. Perhaps it's because I didn't go on a weekend or a holiday. Travel experiences are inherently personal, and only by feeling the sea breeze and sunshine can you create your own beautiful memories.

Hengqin Bay Hotel truly excels in every aspect. The parking lot is spacious and easy to navigate, and the management is excellent. The lobby is bright with high ceilings and a pleasant aroma. In the rooms, the internet connection is convenient, and the rooms themselves are quiet with large windows providing great ventilation and natural light. The mattress and pillows are just the right firmness. The bathrobes are soft, and the bathroom features a dry/wet separation design, a spotless bathtub, and ample hot water in the shower. The towels are thick and plush, and the toiletries are luxurious. The children's slippers and bathrobes are a thoughtful touch. The pool water is clear, and the lifeguards are attentive. The front desk staff is efficient, making check-in and check-out quick. The concierge is friendly, and the luggage service is thorough. This is definitely a hotel I'd return to. The cleanliness is outstanding; the lobby, hallways, and restrooms are immaculate, and the mirrors are sparkling. The guest room floors and furniture are clean, as is the bedding. They have a recreation club and swimming pools. The dining is a particular highlight. Breakfast service is excellent, and the buffet offers a wide variety of delicious options. The Chinese food is authentic, and all dishes are clean, fresh, generously portioned, and great value for money. My whole family was very satisfied with the food. The location is incredibly convenient, close to both the airport and the train station, with shopping centers and attractions nearby. The hotel's decor is refined and tasteful, with excellent natural light and spacious areas. It's quiet and romantic, with a home-like warmth. The family-friendly facilities are very thoughtful. Overall, the experience was fantastic. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Hengqin.

It is very convenient to get to Kanamachi Bay from the high-speed rail station. The hotel has a front desk that is easy to find. It is the off-season and the price/performance ratio is very high. The store also upgraded me to a sea view room. The bed in the room is very comfortable and the sound insulation is also very good. The service at the front desk and in the guest room is very good. If necessary, they will follow up promptly. I will choose this hotel next time I come to Kanamachi Bay.

We were going to Chimelong with our kids and decided to arrive a day early in Zhuhai to experience the local scenery and specialty foods. Doubao recommended the Renheng as the best for families, and it really was! Our most comfortable night in Zhuhai was definitely at the Renheng. It's clean, convenient, and the service is top-notch. It's right near the port and Zhuhai Station, walkable, or just a few minutes by taxi. It's also very close to the food street, right on Lover's Road, where you can rent parent-child bikes and cycle along the seaside to visit attractions. Supervisor Mila immediately added me on WeChat and helped with all our requests, arranging things and recommending food and scenic spots. She even managed to get the infinity pool opened early for us (it was originally planned for May 1st)! The executive benefits were also great, and the cocktails were delicious. Next time I go to Macau for a concert, I'm definitely booking this hotel again!

We have 3 people in a twin bed room, facing Pin Qing Hu, the room is very spacious and new. The room service is very speedy when we request an extra set of slippers and towels. They are very caring too, when I ask for a bath chair for my elderly mum, they provide me with a very good quality and strong plastic chair. They have a specialized place for body and foot spa and massage which the place is very clean and spacious and the chair is professionally comfortable. However, this is not listed oe mentioned on any hotel booking website.
The hotel is artistically and sophisticatedly decorated with many sculptures, artistical lightnings, and paints.

This hotel is located right on Lovers' Road, and you can enjoy direct sea views and a view of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge from both the front desk and your room. It's a shame the weather wasn't great these past couple of days. The front desk offers complimentary self-service snacks and tea, and there's even late-night supper available after 10 PM, though I didn't get to try it as it was too late. The hotel isn't far from Gongbei Port, making it very convenient to get to Macau. Plus, there are several restaurants right downstairs, so dining is super easy. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserWe specifically chose this newer Marriott for our family trip with kids. The facilities are indeed quite new, and the room is spacious. Our sea-view room offered a direct view of Zhuhai Fisher Girl. The gym facilities are particularly noteworthy, with precise equipment for various muscle groups, such as the rowing machine for back exercises and the pec deck for chest and shoulder workouts, which are rarely found in typical hotel gyms. The outdoor pool is also fantastic. The only minor drawback is that there are no showers on the 5th floor where the gym is located, so you have to go to the 6th floor to shower after your workout.
We didn't go out one morning and encountered Auntie Meng on the 21st floor, who was incredibly helpful. Her service during the Chinese New Year period was very warm and thoughtful, making us feel thoroughly looked after.
To be frank, breakfast was just average, with not many varieties. What really brought down the experience was that the breakfast restaurant didn't dissuade or refuse service to guests wearing room slippers. While most guests weren't wearing slippers, these few slipper-wearing individuals instantly lowered the hotel's standard, making it feel less like a five-star hotel. I urge the hotel to pay special attention to this; details determine quality.
As we were leaving, we caught the hotel's lion dance performance to welcome the God of Wealth, which was a nice touch of good fortune and prosperity! Overall, if it weren't for the slipper incident, my review would have been quite positive.

YYangyangdeqingwaAngsana is a great value-for-money resort. Before our arrival, Cheryl had already contacted us to confirm our preferences and requests. The hotel lobby is small but exquisitely designed, blending Chinese and Western styles, creating a very comfortable ambiance. The front desk staff were very friendly in their introductions and answered all our questions. Even the cleaning staff in the hallway were very polite and approachable. The hotel room itself is cozy, comfortable, and spacious, with a separate wet and dry area. The thoughtful addition of a washbasin in the toilet is a very user-friendly design. The mattress had just the right balance of softness and firmness, which felt great. The hotel also has a bar with live singers, which has a nice atmosphere and stays open until 11:30 PM. The breakfast options were abundant and high-quality, and it lasted until 11 AM, which was very convenient. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and it's definitely a hotel worth revisiting.

SSuneryuqulvxingThe hotel's location is excellent, very close to Gongbei Port, just a few minutes' walk away, which is super convenient. The room was clean and well-equipped. However, the soundproofing was really poor. Both outdoor and indoor noise were very noticeable. Outside, facing the road by Gongbei Port, there was constant traffic and crowds, with whistles and car horns blaring until late at night. Inside, you could clearly hear noise from the rooms above, below, and next door.
GGuest UserI have to give a shout-out to the Skyla Executive Lounge on the 18th floor of the Sheraton Zhuhai Huafa! My entire experience was fantastic, making it an absolute gem for both business and leisure travelers in Zhuhai.
The afternoon tea featured freshly cut fruit, exquisite and perfectly balanced desserts, and sandwiches. The 5-7 pm happy hour was an incredible surprise, offering freshly mixed cocktails, salmon sashimi, hot and cold dishes, and a variety of desserts, including the Macanese specialty Serradura. The quality was easily on par with professional restaurants.

XXiaomawangwxkThis might be the most affordable St. Regis in all of China. The surrounding environment is quiet, and you can see Macau across the sea. The design quality is on point, matching the St. Regis standard. I was too lazy to go downstairs for breakfast, so the butler service that delivered it to my room was a big plus. However, by luxury hotel standards, the breakfast taste was just barely passable. Also, the temperature buttons on the in-room air conditioning were printed incorrectly. I've already reported it to the front desk, so I'll see if they follow up.

GGuest UserThe hotel was spotless, with a peaceful and beautiful environment, and stunning sea views right from the window! Complimentary breakfast was also included. After an initial two-day stay, I happily extended for a few more days. The young lady at the front desk was incredibly friendly and provided immense help throughout my stay. Having tried many hotels in Zhuhai, I've finally found one I truly love!
GGuest UserI brought my child here and he unfortunately caught a fever and cold. The staff was very helpful, bringing us a thermometer and water. The laundry room was clean and tidy. The room itself was quite spacious, with views of Macau right across the way. We were on the 5th floor. The breakfast on the first floor was just okay. Overall, it's great value for money. I'd definitely come back again.

GGuest UserNight Feast Warmth: The 12th-floor restaurant offers noodles and rice vermicelli in the evenings, perfect for a late-night snack for those who arrive back at the hotel late. A very thoughtful touch.
Kids' Playground: There's a children's playground in the hotel lobby, which the kids absolutely loved. The only downside is that there's no air conditioning, so the children ended up soaking wet from playing. Hopefully, they'll add AC in the future.
Overall: The service was good, and the room was clean. The hotel is right next to the beach 🏖️, and you can borrow sand-digging tools from the front desk. It's also next to a helicopter 🚁 base, but thankfully the noise wasn't too bad and was acceptable.
