Anonymous UserThis is an older hotel located in a bustling area. The sea-view rooms offer a distant glimpse of the 'Fisher Girl' statue, though it's more of a 'glimpse' than a full 'view.' It's a shame that for such a well-known, established brand, the facilities are quite disappointing. It's also not very friendly for those driving. On a weekend affected by Typhoon Nangka along the coast, hotel parking became a real headache. Most of the B1 parking is outdoors, so you're bound to get wet in a downpour. B2 is an underground garage, but it's really only convenient for check-in. Once you're checked in and want to leave, it's a hassle. You check in at the front desk on the first floor. Out of 5 elevators, one is permanently stuck on the third floor. Of the remaining 4, only 2 go down to B2. To exit with your car after checking in, you first have to go to the first-floor front desk to scan a code. After scanning, if you get an elevator that only goes to B1, you either have to transfer to an elevator on the other side of B1, or hope you get lucky and catch an elevator that goes straight to B2. Because when you press the button on the first floor, the B1 elevator arrives first, and the B2 elevator will show it's going up. Unless there are other guests in the elevator also going to the garage, but you still need to scan on the first floor to leave, so the chance of getting a direct elevator to B2 is practically zero. The rooms are a bit larger, but the amenities are inferior to newer hotels. Tissues are only available at the sink; there are no tissues on the desk or nightstands in the room. The bathroom also lacks disposable toilet seat covers, which was quite disappointing.

My child loved it and wants to stay here again next time.
Chimelong Ocean Kingdom has several hotels: Penguin Hotel, Spaceship Hotel, and Hengqin Bay. Each has its unique features. Hengqin Bay's main draws are its water park and dolphins. The water park opens at 9:30 AM, and that's when the dolphins are fed, allowing for close-up viewing.
The package ticket offers unlimited entry to Ocean Kingdom for two days, which is incredibly good value. Especially in the hot summer, you can get tired after half a day of playing, so it's great for kids to return to the hotel to rest and then come back the next day to finish exploring. Plus, you get one-hour early entry, avoiding the 10 AM queues at the main Chimelong entrance by using the hotel's exclusive通道.
Breakfast at the hotel is also very extensive, with a wide variety of steamed dim sum, noodles, and more. Everything is of excellent quality! My child had a blast eating and playing.
Hengqin Bay is absolutely massive, divided into Dolphin and Seahorse sections. Upon entering, you're almost shocked to see about a dozen counters with staff checking people in – it gets incredibly crowded! Naturally, during breakfast, two large restaurants serve food simultaneously.
There was a minor hiccup during check-in, but the concierge discreetly delivered four picture books and puzzles to the children, which was a very nice touch!
We also had an experience ordering takeout. Everyone waited at the takeout handover point, and we were all assigned four-digit codes, making it feel like a secret agent rendezvous – quite amusing.

Guest UserFirst off, a big thank you to Flora for arranging everything! We stayed at Wanghailou and MGM before this, and while those were satisfactory, Angsana's service truly surprised us. They upgraded our original sea view room to a 'Premium Sea View,' which was fantastic. The elevator goes directly down to the pool, and the way the pool blends with the trees here creates a wonderful, Bali-like atmosphere. Plus, the sunshine in Zhuhai isn't as intense as in Sanya, making it feel very relaxing – a much more laid-back vibe than the scenic pool at Wanghailou. The only minor point was on the other side of the pool, it seemed like it needed a good clean, as there was a bit of plastic trash.
Since it wasn't a holiday, they also kindly arranged an early check-in and an extra hour for check-out, which I genuinely appreciated. At MGM, despite many empty rooms, they insisted on a 3 PM check-in, so comparisons are inevitable. The room facilities aren't brand new, but for the price point, they're perfectly fine, especially considering the neighboring hotels are over 3K.
The Thai restaurant, 'Miyan,' was delicious; every dish was excellent, even better than most Thai restaurants. Irene also helped us secure the only private room, making for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. My only suggestion: the price of the Coke was unnecessarily high. The food prices were reasonable, but the Coke felt really out of place. Also, I'd suggest considering packages that include the minibar. For a resort hotel, a small investment there could greatly enhance the guest experience. Overall, this was the best part of our trip, and we'll definitely be back!

Anonymous UserPerched 300 meters high, the 42nd-floor lobby, with its dazzling crystal chandeliers, creates an incredibly atmospheric vibe. I booked a sea-view room, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered breathtaking views of the Cross Gate waters and the Macau skyline. The sunset at dusk and the neon lights at night were all within sight. The bathtub by the window was perfect for photos, and I could simply relax in the room and admire the stunning night views of the Greater Bay Area.
The St. Regis's signature butler service was a perfect 10 – requests were answered quickly, and every detail felt special and仪式感 (a sense of ritual). The bedding was so comfortable that I slept soundly until morning. The hotel environment is quiet and elegant, making it ideal for couple anniversaries or short getaways. It truly lived up to expectations and is a must-stay hotel when visiting Zhuhai!

joanhungThe hotel's location is a unique advantage; it's very close to the Border Gate, which is super convenient. Right outside the hotel, to the right, there's an escalator entrance that leads to underground shops, making it easy to get to the border crossing without worrying about sun or rain. The staff were very welcoming and upgraded us to a twin room for free. They even have a delivery robot that brings takeout right to your room, which is really handy. My only minor gripe is that the room lighting felt a bit too dim; it would be better if it were a bit brighter, hahaha!

Guest UserWe've stayed at this hotel more than once, and that alone speaks volumes. It's one of the best hotels for us when visiting Zhuhai, particularly for its location between Xiangzhou District and Hengqin. The sea-view rooms are especially wonderful; just opening the balcony door (or even just looking through it) will captivate you with the stunning views of the Haojiang River and Macau. You can fully enjoy events like the Macau fireworks in September or watch the sunrise in the morning without even leaving your room. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, and the lobby downstairs is a great spot for photos. It's also quite close to the Shizimen Huafa Mall, so if you find the hotel's dining options a bit pricey, you can walk a few hundred meters to the mall for a wider range of choices to suit any budget. A morning stroll by the sea is also incredibly pleasant.

As a semi-old hotel opened in 2018, the bathroom facilities are very well-maintained. The pool is also nice, with good views and clean. Breakfast is standard. The executive room is spacious and grand. However, the details are quite disappointing. Many of the welcome fruits were rotten – a plate of dark, mushy longans, some already separated from their stems, with the flesh starting to turn white and rot, and others with black spots all over their skins. They really shouldn't bother sending such a fruit platter; it lacks both aesthetics and quality. It causes nothing but annoyance and certainly doesn't feel welcoming; it's more like a deterrent. Only when writing this review did I realize that the executive room package I purchased stated that a late checkout until 4:00 PM was possible. My return flight was late that evening, and I was traveling with a child, so I requested a late checkout. I was told the latest I could extend was until 2:00 PM. Firstly, I blame myself for not carefully checking the benefits at the time of purchase. Secondly, I never expected to encounter such a situation; usually, when the occupancy rate isn't particularly high, late checkouts are extended to the maximum allowed time. This reminds me of my last stay at an InterContinental, where the welcome fruit platter wasn't provided, and I received a confused response, saying it's only available upon check-in, not that evening. It almost made me laugh; was I supposed to sleep on the street that night? InterContinental's service is really becoming more superficial and dishonest. The room phone was broken, and the power outlet next to it was also broken; my phone would charge for a few minutes and then disconnect itself. Being alone in the room, I needed a children's bathrobe but couldn't call out. I had to find the hotel's front desk number through Trip.com.

Guest UserThe hotel breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. Check-in was fast and professional, and Front Desk staff member Xiao Zhu provided attentive and thoughtful service. My flight was delayed, and when I asked if I could extend my check-out until 4 PM, they happily agreed, which I really appreciated and made me feel right at home. I especially loved that they offered both Western and Chinese breakfast choices!

Guest UserThe hotel offers free parking and even gives you an extra 48 hours of free parking after check-out, which is super friendly. This is incredibly convenient for people like us who are visiting Macau. It saved us a significant amount on parking fees.

Guest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, making travel very convenient. It's just a short walk to the beach, and both taxis and buses are easily accessible. The room was spotlessly clean, the air conditioning worked great, and the bedding was comfortable. The staff were warm, attentive, and highly efficient, and any issues were communicated smoothly. For late-night snacks, they offered congee, sweet soups, and freshly cooked noodles, which the kids really enjoyed. The restaurant on the 12th floor has a fantastic view, offering panoramic vistas of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge. Overall, the value for money is excellent, and I highly recommend it to everyone.
