GGuest UserThe room was a bit smaller than expected, but everything else was great. The hotel's location is excellent, with plenty of food options nearby. The room facilities and design were very good, and the bed and pillows were super comfortable. I even extended my stay for another day! The front desk staff were very attentive, and the noodles and wontons prepared by the auntie at the breakfast buffet were delicious. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay! I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

HhrchenBoth hotels I stayed at during my Chongqing trip were HUAZHU City Comfort Inn properties. City Comfort Inn seems to be a mid-to-high-end brand that really understands what Chinese travelers look for. The complimentary breakfast and laundry room were fantastic, offering incredible value for money. The front desk and concierge service were also excellent, very friendly and thoughtful, though I didn't catch their names. The location is also great; it's perfect for travelers who prefer a quieter area away from the crowds, and taxis are inexpensive in Chongqing. Overall, if they keep this up, their value for money could even surpass international five-star hotel chains.

The front desk check-in process was efficient and quick, with staff patiently explaining hotel facilities, guest benefits, and local sightseeing tips. The communication felt natural and comfortable. Throughout my stay, the entire team maintained a high standard of service, responding promptly and thoroughly. Room cleaning was meticulous and attentive, with amenities, mini-bar drinks, and local snacks replenished daily. The room was spotless, tidy, and pleasantly fragrant. All requests were handled quickly and appropriately, with attentive service that wasn't intrusive, perfectly embodying the quality of a top-tier luxury hotel. I felt completely at ease and comfortable the entire time.
My executive room had an exceptional overall feel, with an open and airy layout and a spacious ambiance. The decor blended elegant Chinese aesthetics with modern minimalist luxury design, creating a sophisticated yet warm atmosphere. The layout was well-designed, and the soft furnishings were exquisite. The warm lighting created a soothing ambiance. The room's soundproofing was excellent, ensuring quiet and privacy, leading to superb rest. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered unrivaled views of the confluence of the two rivers and the Yuzhong Peninsula cityscape. Whether relaxing or soaking in the tub, I could enjoy the riverside view, immersing myself in the mountainous city's scenery. The bedding was soft, skin-friendly, and incredibly comfortable. The bathroom featured a dry/wet separation, and premium toiletries were well-stocked. The executive room's exclusive mini-bar was refreshed daily with complimentary drinks and snacks. Various thoughtful daily essentials were perfectly provided, with attention to every detail, making for a luxurious and pleasant living experience.
The dining experience was equally outstanding, with dishes that excelled in color, aroma, and taste, balancing both quality and flavor. The hotel offered a rich selection of meals, catering to both local Chongqing flavors and exquisite Western cuisine. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety of fresh ingredients, including regular Western pastries, hot dishes, congee, and fresh fruit drinks, as well as authentic Chongqing noodles and pea and meat sauce noodles, full of local character. Executive room guests also enjoyed exclusive executive lounge benefits, including breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening happy hour. The food was exquisitely prepared and diverse, in a quiet, less crowded setting, offering greater privacy and a full sense of exclusive treatment. Additionally, the hotel's main dining options, specialty hotpot, and the Two Rivers Bar on the 7th floor are all worth experiencing. The ingredients are premium, and the cooking is done with care. The Two Rivers Bar boasts a prime view of the river at night, offering a double delight for both sight and taste with the evening breeze and delicious food.
The hotel's public facilities were comprehensive and well-maintained. The high-altitude heated swimming pool was quiet and uncrowded, allowing me to swim while enjoying river views. The gym had professional and well-equipped machinery to meet daily workout needs. The spa and relaxation areas were well-appointed, perfect for unwinding after a tiring journey. The public areas exuded elegant style, with a sophisticated fragrance, creating a tranquil and refined environment where every snapshot looked like a professional photograph.
Overall, my impression of the stay was that Regent Chongqing enjoys a prime location with unparalleled views of the two rivers, complemented by impeccable, thoughtful service, excellent dining, a high-quality executive room environment, and comprehensive facilities. Everything was executed to perfection. With the added executive privileges, the overall value for money and comfort were significantly enhanced, creating a tranquil and luxurious sanctuary in the bustling mountain city.
Next time I visit Chongqing, Regent Chongqing will still be my top choice, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to friends traveling or vacationing in Chongqing. It's truly worth revisiting.

The hotel is nestled in the bustling Shan City Lane, offering a tranquil escape amidst the crowds. It's built on the former site of the Ren'aitang, cleverly blending French historical architecture with the unique topography of the mountain city. The interior design, from the public lobby and restaurant to the room decor, incorporates numerous Scandinavian design elements, creating a very stylish ambiance that perfectly matches my aesthetic. The staff were consistently and appropriately enthusiastic, offering to help with luggage while patiently introducing the building's history and the surrounding area. Complimentary snacks and drinks were available in the lounge area, and thoughtful touches like turn-down service with a sweet soup in the evening were much appreciated. The complimentary travel photography service provided by the hotel was also very professional; it was wonderful to capture beautiful commemorative photos in such a retro and elegant setting – definitely a must-try. All in all, it was a delightful urban getaway, truly memorable, and I hope to have the chance to visit again.

AAikuaidexiaoguaishouOn April 11th, I visited Chongqing with a friend and booked a city-view twin room for one night at the InterContinental Raffles City Chongqing through Ctrip. The hotel was luxurious, comfortable, and grand. The room facilities were complete and well-equipped, and the staff were warm and attentive. The hotel's location is excellent, making it incredibly convenient to access various attractions. The breakfast offered a rich variety of dishes with unique flavors. The Chinese restaurant on the 42nd floor served delicious food at affordable prices. The skybridge with its glass walkway on the 42nd floor offered unique views. I'd especially like to commend the hotel concierge (whose name I don't recall) who called me before my arrival to inquire about my accommodation preferences. She then arranged room 6108 for me. After checking in, she called again to ask if I was satisfied. I truly felt that the hotel staff were extremely dedicated and highly professional. I was very satisfied with this stay at the InterContinental Raffles City and will definitely return next time!👍

GGuest UserI had a good stay at Sonderia! I booked a twin room as a solo traveler. The area is close to Wenshu Monastery and takes 10mins to the train station Line 1 but doesn’t feel that far. Bus stops are just in front of the hostel too. The bar area is a great spot to chill at night and meet other tourists.
Nicole at the reception was sooo nice and accommodating!! I was allowed to check out late (2pm instead of 12nn) and she even let me stay at the couch area at the bar so I can rest for an extra hour before my flight. She even bothered to lend me a comforter!! Thank you!! 🤍

GGuest UserOpt for the standard room, the twin room even has a two-seater sofa, offering great value for money at 250 yuan right in the city center. The front desk is on the 15th floor and boasts an open-air glass viewing platform. When taking photos, there's no glass barrier, allowing for clear, unobstructed 180-degree views (Pictures 1-6). Directly across the road is Hongyadong (Pictures 10-12). A short walk will take you to the Qianximen Jialing River Bridge, where you can capture stunning views of Hongyadong and the riverfront (Pictures 7-8). The bathroom features a glass partition separating the toilet and shower, with the washbasin located near the entrance. This setup isn't ideal for changing clothes as there's no rack or shelf to place items; it would be much more convenient if the towel rack had two tiers. Soundproofing is decent, and even in April, the central air conditioning provided cool air (with daytime highs between 24-28 degrees Celsius) without being noisy. Jiefangbei is just a 600-meter walk away (Picture 13), and the Kuai Zi Lou (Chopsticks Building) is about 200 meters to the left when you exit (Picture 9). Due to the high number of guests staying on the upper floors, the elevators were often full. On my visit, one of the three elevators was out of service, leading to long wait times.

RRuyundepiaoA few friends and I came to Chongqing for a trip, and on our last day, we arrived at Hongyadong in the evening. This hotel looked good, so we casually chose to stay here. To our surprise, the front desk lady greeted us with a smile, speaking softly and kindly. This wonderful first impression made us choose the hotel without hesitation. During check-in, the lady thoroughly explained everything to us. When we opened the room door, we saw a neat and clean space. After 8 PM, they even offered a bowl of nourishing porridge, which was comforting and good for the stomach. For breakfast the next day, we sat by the window, with the famous Jialing River below us and Chongqing's financial district across the river – a truly unique view. The entire dining area was clean and hygienic, and both the male and female staff provided excellent service, making us feel comfortable and warm. I took a few photos as proof.
