Just finished a five night stay at The Regent Chongqing, was one of the best hotel experiences ever. Arrived at the start of the national three day Duanwu Dragon Boat Festival and was warmly greeted with two tasty green bean cake pastries in a traditional wood basket as a welcome amenity in the room. Breakfast has an abundance of options, everything fresh and delicious. Ate at the third floor Chinese restaurant twice and the dishes there are truly outstanding, some of the best tasting dishes I’ve ever tasted in Sichuan province and also rated as the second best restaurant in Chongqing on this website. Compared to some of the top tier restaurants in cities like Beijing and Shanghai, also very reasonably priced and affordable. What’s really nice is the hotel offers complimentary laundry service for up to three pieces per day which I thought was a very thoughtful service. Mini bar in hotel room also completely free and restocked daily. Water pressure in room’s shower was also very strong which made showering very enjoyable. Hospitality is really on another level here. During the stay I experienced: - A small soft cloth wipe was left next to my laptop since the staff noticed my laptop screen was a bit dirty - Staff during breakfast would go out of there way to ask if I wanted or needed assistance in preparing a bowl of noodles, per my request they kindly prepared one for me with the most popular condiments used by locals - One of the chefs during breakfast made it known if there was anything at all I wanted him to specially prepare for me he would gladly do it - Same chef (Mr. Swong), when he found out I would be departing for a day trip the next morning from the hotel at a very early hour (earlier than when the hotel breakfast dining would be open) made it be known that he would make arrangements for the hotel to prepare a bag of anything I wanted from the breakfast buffet to take with me so I could eat it in the car. Sure enough, the next morning at the front desk reception there was a bag waiting for me containing various fresh fruit, a hard boiled egg, sticky rice, orange juice, banana, water, utensils. When I walked outside to the car that had arrived to pick me up, both the driver and tour guide remarked they had never seen a hotel ever do this for a guest and that this must be a really exceptional hotel. - A complimentary bowl of fresh fruit was delivered and left in my room - Upon check-out, received an immaculately wrapped gift box of Chongqing Small Noodles (dried, uncooked) which was accompanied by a specially prepared locally made peppercorn noodle sauce (wrapped in plastic), was actually the perfect gift since my Mom loves noodles and to see her face so happy and joyful upon receiving this gift brought me much happiness Everywhere in the hotel, from the hotel front desk staff, the bellboys and staff working outside the front door, the staff at the 7th floor bar, the staff at the breakfast dining, to the staff on the 3rd floor Chinese restaurant, was treated so warmly and courteously and staff so helpful and thoughtful too. Victoria was especially gracious and helpful as when I arrived, I didn’t know where to eat and after asking me a few questions with regards to my tastes and kind of ambiance I would like in a restaurant, she recommended a very popular local Chongqing Hot Pot restaurant just a few minutes away. This turned out to be great recommendation as the flavor of the hot pot was really great and the environment was more of a ‘hole in the wall’ place, very raucous and rowdy, just what I was looking for. She would also periodically check in to see if everything was going okay and if there was anything she could assist with. Will always be grateful to Victoria and the staff at Regent Chongqing for making my first trip to Chongqing so unforgettable and full of wonderful memories.

Traveling during off-peak hours, I finally came to Chongqing, which I have longed for. For the convenience of travel, I chose this high-altitude river view hotel. The front desk is on the 28th floor. The room I booked also has a river view. There are many delicious food nearby, and there is a subway station downstairs. It's very convenient to take a taxi. There is an observation deck upstairs in the hotel, but you need to buy a ticket to go up. The room is nice and the view is beautiful. Xiao Zhu at the front desk provides great service. It has a full floor-to-ceiling river view. Exit 5A of Line 1 is the hotel. Transportation Convenient, plus the hotel's WeChat online service, you don't need to go to the front desk to check out. This location in Chaotianmen is very cost-effective and worth recommending.

A very satisfying stay experience! ! ! Facilities: The facilities and equipment in the room are very new and fully equipped. Attentive enough to even include antibacterial laundry detergent. Hygiene: The room is cleaned carefully and the bedding is tidy. Environment: The three-bedroom apartment has a great view, facing Raffles City. We booked a deluxe river view room for 3 nights and we had an exceptionally wonderful experience with the front counter staff . Their friendliness and attentiveness to your needs worth a mention here. We were initially allocated a room at L29 with an upgrade with separate lounge （so we were told）but we requested for a higher flloor and we were duly moved to L42 on the 2nd night when it was available. On the last day, they accomodated our late check out request and the front counter lady, Ms Jia also booked a Didi using her personal phone for us to airport which is much appreciated as I was unable to place an order via my phone. The room is clean and equiped with morden facilities like bidet toilet, dyson hair dryer, washing machine/dryer, dish washer and cooktop（ IMO is not necessay as the hotel is locate within walking distances to array of food streets）, automatic blinds and internet tv, etc. However, we were baffled by where some the things were kept. For the instance, the bath towels were kept in the bedroom closet and the cultery in the dishwasher！ TV is placed below eye level when sitting on the couch. Otherwise, we had a marvellous experience overall and enjoy the magnificent Jialing Jiang and surronging night light .

酒店就在來福士正對面，樓層很高，視野特別好。房間十分乾淨，裏面還有小冰箱，投影儀，大浴缸，真的超級nice😄😄😄。酒店的小何利利非常熱情， 還親自帶我們去房間，必須點贊😄阿姨都是非常有禮貌喲，做衞生非常仔細。 整個入住體驗真的超級棒，一直忘記來評論了，是屬於我下一次去重慶依然會優先選擇的酒店。放兩張我們住的樓層的窗外風景，現場看房間的時候看到這一間不是完全對着江的，但我覺得對着這個建築也很好看就選了這一間。

Excellent location, just 2 minutes away from Jiefang Monument. Downstairs is the famous Eight Road food Street. The environment is beautiful and the service attitude is satisfactory. Affordable prices and free laundry service. For those who love fitness and running, please note that the hotel's gym is located in the front desk area, which is open design and may not be suitable. In addition, travel agencies that cooperate with the hotel (such as Guesthouse) may have hidden costs, and I hope the hotel will pay more attention when choosing partners. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and will be returning in the future. 位于绝佳地段，距离解放碑仅两分钟路程。楼下即为著名的八一路美食街。环境优美，服务态度令人满意。价格实惠，还提供免费洗衣服务。对于爱好健身和跑步的朋友，请注意酒店的健身房位于前台区域，为开放式设计，可能不太适应。另外，与酒店合作的旅行社（如国旅社）可能存在隐形费用，希望酒店在选择合作伙伴时多加留意。总体而言，此次入住体验愉快，未来还会再次光临

After staying for two nights, the homestay is outside the gate of the scenic area. The transportation is very friendly to individual travelers. From the light rail to the hotel, you can take a drop of 20-30 yuan; from the homestay to the intersection and walk up to the intersection for 5 minutes, it is 502 Daihu Bus Station, direct to the city bus station (5 minutes walk from the light rail station), when you leave the shop, you can contact the driver to drop off the passengers through the homestay (the cost is more expensive than Didi). B&B food is acceptable, if you are too expensive, you can take the bus/didi to and from the city for shopping and dining. The actual scene of the room matches the photo. The best part is that the scenery is good, not losing the Jinyun Xiaozhu on the top of the mountain. It is best to call to ask if there is a balcony when making a reservation. A worthy trip for two nights!

highly highly recommend this hotel! 1. it is strategically located in the heart of chongqing. you can find many yummy food and easily get to the different tourist spots/local hidden gems. 2. very nice, comfortable rooms. clean and spacious with a good view of the neighbourhood 3. comes with a rooftop seating area. very clean and comfortable. awesome view without the crowd!!! 4. breakfast is available for redemption between 730am to 840pm from their sister company, a noodle house. very yummy and hearty. there have non spicy option if you cant take spicy food. 5. upon check out, they gave a small gift as a souvenir. it is local specialty snacks! shout out to staff number 5 and 11 and cleaning lady for their kind assistance throughout our stay. * i can write, speak and write mandarin well. so communication is not an issue. highly highly recommended! :)

The scenery outside the window is beautiful, and the facilities are complete. There are shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and body lotion. Hot water is also available every night. It is relatively clean. The location is particularly good. It is in the Everbright Building. There is a convenience store downstairs and restaurants around. In front of it is Raffles City. There is a platform in front of the mall and you can see the river view.

The room and the location are great - very central, clean and comfortable. The staff were pleasant and attentive. If you want to be right in the heart of Chongqing, this is the place. Unfortunately they lose some marks for smokiness. The floor was non-smoking and there are signs in the bedroom telling you that you’ll be fined if you smoke indoors, but our bathroom stank of smoke for our whole stay. We assume another guest nearby was smoking in their bathroom and the smell came through the air vent, but it made our room very smelly. I think this is a bigger problem in Chongqing - people are smoking everywhere and the older guys don’t seem to be interested in respecting non smoking areas. Hardly the fault of the hotel, but it did make the room much less pleasant.
