It's close to the subway, the room is very clean, and the hotel is a standalone building so you don't have to navigate through twists and turns to get to it. The front desk staff and the cleaning auntie were both very polite and friendly. This will be my top choice next time I visit Chongqing!

From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the bellboy immediately took my luggage – I didn't have to lift a finger the entire time. The front desk staff were efficient and incredibly kind during check-in, even offering thoughtful recommendations for local authentic eateries, saving me the hassle of planning. The room was super spacious with breathtaking river views; the dazzling lights of Hongyadong at night were simply stunning. The bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable, providing instant relaxation.
All drinks in the minibar were complimentary and restocked daily. The Chongqing-specific snacks and custom bottled water were a lovely touch. High-end amenities like a Dyson hairdryer and daily face masks really elevated the sense of refinement. The dining experience at the hotel was also exceptional. Breakfast offered a vast array of choices, with authentic Chongqing noodles made to order and tasting truly original. Serving until 10:30 AM was a blessing for those of us who struggle to wake up early.
The Chinese restaurant's dishes were exquisite and delicious. The chef even meticulously explained the ingredients and cooking methods – every bite was a delight. The executive lounge service was also incredibly attentive, always ready to assist, showing thoughtfulness in every detail. All staff members I encountered were exceptionally professional, whether at the front desk, house-keeping, or in the restaurant. Communication was prompt and patient, and any requests were quickly addressed. That feeling of being completely looked after, truly made me feel at home.
This stay was absolutely perfect. I couldn't find a single fault, from the hardware facilities to the soft services. Because of this hotel, I've grown to love Chongqing even more! Next time I visit Chongqing, I will definitely choose Regent again. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a high-quality experience!👍

He contacted me in advance before I checked in, and all the requests were met wholeheartedly. It was a great stay experience. Each room type has its own characteristics. I will try another room type if I have the chance.

SStefan C PadI stayed at this hotel for 20 days and had a consistently comfortable and smooth experience, making it ideal for both long stays and repeat visits.
The hotel staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful. Even with a language barrier, communication was easy through translation tools and messaging apps and we had a bit of fun. I also appreciated the complimentary room upgrade, which showed genuine care for guest comfort.
I had the chance to see both the original room and the upgraded one, and both were well designed, modern, and highly practical. The room layout and smart features are clearly intended to improve everyday comfort. Everything is easy to use — from curtains and lighting controlled from the bed to USB-C and USB charging ports, as well as a self-heating toilet seat with automatic flushing, high quality hair dryer.
The hotel also has a terrace on the 36th floor with a beautiful view, which is a great place to relax. On the same floor, there are washing and drying facilities, making it very convenient for long stays and allowing you to travel light.
The view of the Jiangbeizui area is impressive during both the day and night, while the surroundings remain quiet in the evening, ensuring good rest. The mattress was excellent for sleeping — not too soft and not too firm — providing great support and high sleep quality throughout my stay.
The robot delivery service is efficient and can deliver food or requested items from the reception/lobby directly to your room when you orders things via WeChat or ** (food delivery app) which adds to the hotel’s modern and convenient experience.
The location is a strong advantage, with many key places reachable within 5–15 minutes by DiDi taxi, making transportation quick and easy.
Overall, this hotel offers an excellent balance of comfort, smart design, quiet surroundings, and reliable service. I genuinely enjoyed my stay and would happily choose to stay here again — and even longer, if given the opportunity.
The only small issue I had was with the air-conditioning configuration. I wasn’t able to set it to a lower temperature that I personally prefer (around 17°C). However, this wasn’t a real problem — the hotel kindly offered a fan, which I declined, and simply keeping the window open was enough since it was cool outside.

First off, the location is fantastic – right downstairs, you're at Hongyadong and Jiefangbei, with most of the main attractions practically on your doorstep. Secondly, the service was proactive and thoughtful. They contacted me before check-in to confirm the hotel's location, and the map they sent was spot on. They also gave us recommendations for local food, and even offered free congee or 'bingfen' (shaved ice) after 8 PM every night. Thirdly, they helped us upgrade our room, and we were able to use our Ctrip upgrade benefits. The river view from our room was beautiful! My only minor complaint is that I wish the soundproofing was a bit better. Other guests were quite noisy at night, but maybe that's just because the place is so popular! XXiaoyibuchiyuMy stay in Chongqing this time was fantastic! The room was clean, tidy, and very spacious, with soft, comfortable bedding that ensured a great night's sleep. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive, always ready to answer any questions. It was super convenient to have a robot deliver anything I needed to the room right away. The hotel breakfast was also excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient too; it's just a few minutes' walk to Hongyadong from the first floor entrance, and you can reach Jiefangbei directly from the 22nd floor. The value for money is outstanding – I'll definitely be back!

GGuest UserThis hotel offers incredible value for money. The location is absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of everything. I read in a guide that first-time visitors to Chongqing should stay near Jiefangbei, and it's true – all the main attractions are super close. From the hotel, you can overlook Jiefangbei Square, and at night, the neon lights are a spectacular display of urban prosperity. Right outside, there are three long queues for popular网红 (wanghong/influencer-famous) shops, so you can grab a Tea Yen Hue Se (Chayan Yuese) every day. The room itself is pretty standard, and the sink being inside the room means getting ready can disturb your roommate. I was told breakfast was basic, but it actually exceeded my expectations; they had milk, bread, porridge, noodles, fruit, and yogurt. Plus, the panoramic view from the 29th floor made breakfast a truly pleasant experience.

GGuest UserThis was an absolutely fantastic trip! Both the hardware and the service were impeccable. The butler contacted us in advance, met us where we got off, and helped with our luggage. When we arrived in the evening, supper was also delivered to our room. The portion size of the supper was seriously like a full meal.
The amenities in the room were the most generous I’ve ever seen in a hotel. They even thought of earplugs and eye masks, and the shampoo and body lotion provided were excellent.
This package also included a superb dinner, which my friend and I enjoyed as an early Christmas celebration. The Basque cheesecake among the desserts was incredibly delicious. Later, when we were sunbathing and having tea on the terrace, a server brought us sliced fruit and some small cookies. In short, I felt that the hotel's generosity stems from a magnificent operating philosophy. After reading the hotel team's introduction, it's clear that their aesthetic, attention to detail, and employee enthusiasm are all top-notch. My only regret is that there aren't more hotels like this – I've already recommended it to all my friends!
