Tian'anmen Square and Wangfujing Area Beijing|0.86km from city center
Let's start with the positives: Firstly, the location is excellent. Right outside the entrance is Chongwenmen subway station, making it incredibly convenient to reach all the major attractions. This is definitely the hotel's biggest selling point. Secondly, the staff are very service-oriented. Their customer care, from booking to check-out, was impressive, and the front desk was quick to help guests resolve issues during my stay. Now for the areas that need improvement: As it's an older hotel, the facilities are quite basic and dated. The lighting is also on the dim side, especially in the elevators. The rooms show signs of age, with some water stains and black mold visible in the bathroom, and dust accumulation in the corners of the wardrobe door tracks. During this stay, the first room (B213) had a strong odor from the bathroom drain, so with the help of the front desk, I moved to a different room (B559). However, the air conditioning in the second room was not very effective; even at its lowest setting, the room temperature stayed around 27 degrees Celsius, making it feel a bit stuffy in the mornings or at midday. Overall, considering the price, Xinqiao Hotel offers acceptable value for money in the city center. My suggestions for the hotel are: 1. Replace the lighting with brighter white lights to make the place feel less dated. 2. Increase the frequency of maintenance for drainage pipes and the central air conditioning system. 3. Improve the cleanliness of room corners, particularly in the bathrooms.

The most beautiful European-style hotel in Beijing! The lobby, restaurant, and rooms are all very spacious. The service is exceptional; all staff members are respectful, friendly, and attentive to guests. The breakfast is abundant with main courses rotating daily. Although it's an 18-year-old building, it's very well-maintained, and the facilities are comprehensive with a strong vintage feel. I stayed in room 507, which was very quiet. The housekeeping staff are well-presented, professional, and do an excellent job cleaning! Highly commendable.

During my middle school entrance exam, I needed a quiet place to rest during the day. The hotel specifically assigned us to the 12th floor, which was very quiet. The hotel itself was very clean. The staff on our floor, Tang Yan and Liu Yongqiang, were incredibly friendly and responsible. Knowing I was an exam taker, they made sure my room was ready in advance so I could rest peacefully. The view from the window was also quite nice.

Although the room was small, it had all the necessary amenities. The service was very responsive to requests, and breakfast was incredibly rich and varied. It's about a 30-minute walk to Tiananmen Square, and Universal Studios is also just a half-hour drive away. This was definitely the right choice!

Qianmen, The Temple Of Heaven and Chongwenmen Beijing|1.02km from city center
The hotel's location is fantastic, right in the New World Department Store building, with Chongmun Station on Subway Line 5 just downstairs. There are numerous large shopping malls nearby, lots of great restaurants, and it's convenient to get anywhere. The room's cleanliness was also very good. I particularly liked their hairdryer; it's very powerful, which is great for people with long hair. The only thing I was unhappy with was their internet 🛜 – it's really bad and often disconnects, especially in the bathroom. As soon as you enter, the Wi-Fi drops. I hope they can switch to a better network provider. Everything else deserves five stars!

The hotel is in the city center, very close to Wangfujing, making it convenient for getting around. The front desk staff were warm and polite, and check-in was efficient and quick. Their thoughtful and attentive service made me feel very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and the ingredients were fresh. The most pleasant surprise was the hotel offering intangible cultural heritage handicraft experiences. The instructor was very professional and detailed in their explanations, allowing me to immerse myself in the charm of traditional craftsmanship and create a unique travel souvenir with my own hands. It's more than just a place to stay; you can truly experience local culture, and the ambiance is fantastic. Overall, the experience was excellent and I highly recommend it. The hotel is very clean, and the service is excellent. It's really close to the Forbidden City and the subway, plus there's a Siji Minfu restaurant right next door. We ordered four dishes there, and they were all incredibly delicious. It's super convenient that you can wait for a table at the hotel.

Five stars, highly recommend this hotel on Xiaoyun Road! It was the perfect choice for my business trip. The location is unbeatable. It's right next to the Lufthansa business district and embassy area, and just a short walk to Sanyuanqiao subway station. Getting to Sanlitun and Liangma Bridge takes about ten minutes by taxi. The entire street is packed with Japanese, Korean, and BBQ restaurants, making it super convenient to grab a bite after work. Whether it's for business dinners or casual meals, you'll have plenty of options. The room was exceptionally clean, with no dust or odd smells in the corners. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and the hot water came on quickly and consistently. The mattress was just right—not too soft, not too firm—and the soundproofing was excellent. I barely heard any traffic noise from the road, which meant I could get a really good night's sleep after a busy day. The room's Wi-Fi was stable, and streaming or working on presentations was seamless. The desk was also a good size, perfect for handling urgent work without any hassle. The front desk staff, Blair and Yonah, were efficient and professional. Check-in and check-out were quick, and they were always polite and patient. Room service was prompt and the attention to detail was impressive. Overall, this hotel is ideal for short business trips, temporary stays for visa applications, or even a quick getaway. I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm in the Xiaoyun Road area.

Extremely satisfied with the excellent service. I couldn't find any laundry detergent in my room, and a staff member passing by immediately got some from another empty room for me to use. After checking out and storing my luggage, I realized I'd left my yogurt in the fridge. The staff kindly kept it for me until I picked up my luggage in the evening. The room was clean and well-organized, though not large. The storage spaces were thoughtfully designed, and all the amenities were refined and practical. The hairdryer was a new, hair-care quick-dry model, which was excellent. The hotel as a whole beautifully blends traditional Chinese and Japanese cultural elements, creating a grand, refined, and welcoming atmosphere. There's a Lawson convenience store in the office building section of the same complex. The service was incredibly attentive. As soon as my car stopped, staff members were there to open the door and help with luggage. Unlike some hotels that ask guests for positive reviews by name, it felt like this was just their standard service, which made me feel comfortable and at ease. When I was leaving and had trouble finding my way, a lobby staff member personally walked me to the intersection and gave detailed directions and explanations. My three-night stay was extremely satisfying. This hotel truly became our relaxing sanctuary during our trip to Beijing. Thank you for the hotel's warm service. The nearest subway station is about a 10-minute walk at a regular pace. However, I didn't find any escalators or elevators at that specific subway exit, so those with large luggage might want to confirm this beforehand.

As a star-rated hotel, the sense of luxury is absolutely top-notch, and the experience was fantastic. The location truly deserves praise; it's incredibly convenient for getting anywhere. You can walk to Metro Lines 5 and 1, making travel completely effortless. Just 50 meters to the left from the hotel entrance, there's a shopping mall with so many shopping and dining options that it's hard to choose. All your shopping and eating needs are easily met~ The room was an even bigger surprise. It was exceptionally spacious, bright, and well-lit. The floor-to-ceiling window offered an excellent view; lying down and admiring the scenery was incredibly comfortable. The facilities were also comprehensive, and the pillows and mattress were perfectly comfortable. I slept like a baby, straight through till morning – the relaxation was first-class. Breakfast is also worth mentioning. There was a rich variety of both Chinese and Western dishes, with plenty of choices, making every morning meal very satisfying. The staff were consistently warm and polite, always thinking of the guests, and their service was incredibly thoughtful. They definitely deserve a big thumbs up! The apex of Beijing, where the true heart of luxury beats! — A perfect stay at Kerry Hotel Beijing from July 25th-26th If Beijing is a flowing feast, then the Guomao CBD is its most dazzling stage, and Kerry Hotel Beijing sits right in the center of it. During this stay, I truly experienced what it means to “be amidst the bustle, yet privately enjoy luxury.” Arriving on the afternoon of the 25th, from the moment I stepped into the lobby, that grand sense of tranquility isolated me from the noise outside the window. The room was super spacious, and the floor-to-ceiling window offered an unparalleled city skyline view, with the CCTV Headquarters (the 'big trousers') and China Zun tower side-by-side. That feeling of having the imperial capital at your feet instantly made the room rate worthwhile! I must particularly praise the Kerry Club Lounge on the 18th floor! It was truly the highlight of my entire stay! The service from Ms. Lucy, Clara, and Seanna was simply delightful, making me feel incredibly welcome. The lounge's food, whether afternoon tea or evening happy hour, offered such a vast variety that it was hard to choose. The breakfast at 'Jia Pin Restaurant' on the morning of the 26th absolutely won me over—there were 7 ways to prepare eggs alone, plus fresh grapefruit. These kinds of details are truly a huge plus! Although I know this hotel is a representative of the 'old money' opened in 1999, the facilities are incredibly well-maintained. That sense of profound grandeur, refined by the passage of time, is a quality new hotels simply cannot replicate. The gym and heated swimming pool are top-tier for hotels in China, with huge spaces and comprehensive equipment. Even just a swim feels like a luxury. My two-day journey in the heart of luxury left me wanting more. Not only is the location unbeatable, but the service and dining are also exceptional! This is definitely the most 'aristocratic' hotel I've stayed at in Beijing, second to none! ♥️

We had such a fantastic time bringing our child to the Le Du Port Marriott this trip! My child was participating in a robotics competition, and after adding the hotel's butler, Skyller, on WeChat, they pre-checked us in so my child could rest during lunchtime. We learned it was also my child's birthday that day, and they even prepared balloons and a small cake, which made my child incredibly happy. Any requests were promptly addressed. A huge thumbs up to Skyller! 👍 The room was spacious and clean, and the children's amenities were thoughtfully prepared; the small slippers and toothbrush made my child feel really involved. Breakfast offered a wide variety, and there was even a dedicated children's serving area, making mealtime enjoyable for my little one and stress-free for us. The pool temperature was just right for splashing around and enjoying the hot springs with the kids, plus there's a children's play area. It was a truly special birthday, and the attention to detail in the service was impeccable. I highly recommend this to families looking for a 'one-stop' destination for kids around Beijing.

My experience this time wasn't great. I specifically checked Ctrip for a hotel in Sanlitun because I was traveling with my child and wanted easy access to sightseeing and shopping. The platform showed this hotel was only about 500 meters from Sanlitun, so I booked it. However, upon check-in, when I asked the front desk, the staff told me it was quite a distance, not walkable, and would require taking the subway or a taxi. I was instantly disappointed and felt a bit cheated. I hope others with similar needs can avoid this pitfall. On the brighter side, the hotel's overall environment, service, cleanliness, and food were all acceptable. I hope the hotel continues to improve.

I chose Nuo Hotel for my birthday this year, and I was pleasantly surprised when the front desk wished me a happy birthday during check-in.
