Royal Fine Hotel ★★★★
"The room was smaller than expected, amenities was also fewer than expected. However the location was good, bus stop was just infront of the hotel and train station was a few minutes away only. Service was also great but its sad that we have to pay for extra hotel card. Overall hotel was good, just hope they improve the amenities considering the hotel wasnt cheap."
Airline Inn Kaohsiung Station ★★★★
"Nice budget friendly hotel with good buffet breakfast included. Couldn't find any instrns to get to this hotel so document here for future travellers. For those taking either Red line (from Zuoying HSR) or Taiwan railways to Kaohsiung station, head towards exit 2, go up a couple of escalators till u reach a big open atrium n see the Taiwan Railway Information lobby, walk to the side with big sundial. Take the escalator on the right to ground level (Jianguo 3rd road) and you will see the hotel on the opposite side of the road. My family stayed in 2 rooms. One of the room had the sink outside the toilet. Not good because the water and drain pipe can be noisy. Free coffee and tea available in the lobby and free use of laundry machines. There is a row of fast food outlets next to hotel, supermarket PX Mart abt 10 minutes walk away. 15 to 20 minutes walk to Liuhe night market."
SKYONE HOTEL ★★★
"Had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect for sightseeing, and the hotel staff made us feel at home. We booked a Quadruple room with city view for the 4 of us in a family. Room was clean, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed. It was 1 Queen and 1 King beds. I would like to suggest to the hotel is to install a light near the cupboard so that one can see clearly when we are looking at our suitcase. I still recommend this hotel as a good place to stay in Kaohsiung city."
Fullon Poshtel Kaohsiung ★★★★
"Overall, the hotel is decent and comfortable for a stay. My room was clean and spacious. The hotel is eco-friendly, so single-use personal care items like toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided; they are available at the counter for 20 NTD if needed. Shower foam and shampoo are provided in the bathroom. There are also no bottled water amenities, but you can boil your own water in the room. One feature I really appreciated was the laundry room. As someone who likes to wash clothes while travelling, this was a big plus. It isn’t free (50 NTD for washing and another 50 NTD for drying), but I find the pricing reasonable. The hotel also offers free biscuits and drinks during the day at Level 16, which guests are welcome to enjoy. The location is convenient, within walking distance to a FamilyMart and the Cianjin MRT station. What I didn’t particularly like, although I understand the eco-friendly concept, was that some basic hotel service felt lacking. Late at night, I called the front desk to request paper and a pen, and was told I had to go down to collect it myself. Personally, after showering and settling in for the night, I didn’t expect to have to go downstairs for such a small request, and it was mildly frustrating, so I chose not to collect it and only asked again the following day. That said, I’m not sure if this was due to a particular staff member. My interactions with other front desk staff were generally positive, they were helpful with directions and assisted me with booking a taxi in advance. Overall, a comfortable stay with good facilities, though service consistency could be improved slightly."
FX Hotel Kaohsiung ★★★★
"Good but toilet door is hard to use"
Harbour 10 Hotel ★★★★
"This is the best hotel we stayed at during this trip. The cleanliness and location are highly recommended. Especially the view — when you open the curtains, you can see the river. The room was very clean, and the housekeeping did an excellent job keeping everything tidy. Highly recommended for families."
Days Fine Hotel ★★★
"About a 10min walk and family mart nearby. Nice clean hotel but the soundproofing could be a bit better. I was able to hear people in the other rooms laughing at night."
Kindness Hotel Zhong Shan Bade ★★★
"Very convenient location, 10mins walk to night market. Great service and we got a room upgrade to spacious family room. Breakfast was delicious and whole day coffee and ice cream provided. We will definitely back again."
Just Sleep Kaohsiung Station ★★★★
"Didn’t know the breakfast was vegan when we visited the hotel"

Kaohsiung Marriott Hotel
"The pool and spa facilities were great, and the room was spacious with a nice view. It would be even better if the breakfast selection was more extensive."
Howard Plaza Hotel Kaohsiung
"The room was very spacious and clean. The breakfast was also delightful!"
Hotel Nikko Kaohsiung
"Service was great! Everyone was super polite and there was always someone who was fluent in multiple languages. Very clean. I loved the coed outdoor pool on the upper level as well as the same-sex hot tub and sauna rooms. Best part was the food! I have attached photos of the food I got there (all included for free with executive floor rooms). Breakfast was amazing! I booked the executive floor room (so basically any room on floors 18-20). Executive rooms comes with breakfast by default even if you don't book one that explicitly includes the breakfast. There's actually 2 options for breakfast. There's the Nikko Room Executive breakfast on the top floor where there's a made to order menu (2 choices/day) as well as a buffet of Hors d'oeuvre style foods. The first day we ordered bruleed banana with pancake and egg and then this crepe thing. I preferred the breakfast on the second floor at the Serena All day Restaurant. Serena Restaurant had Haagen Daz ice cream and a greater variety of foods including choose your fruit juice bar, noodle station, lots of buffet style western and asian food, ham by the slice, they also had a cart they pushed around with Hong Kong style dim sum and also another cart for bread. Booking the executive floor rooms also gave you afternoon tea (3-5pm) which was Hors d'oeuvres and they had a fridge of drinks including, juice, soda, and beer. One day they had a whole rack of fresh honeycomb that you could slice off and eat. Executive room also gives you Cocktail hour which you can choose from 2 drinks on the menu that they make for you or there's alcohol on the table you can pour yourself. It's unlimited drinks. There's also Hors d'oeuvres for cocktail hour. Location is decent. It's quiet but not very close to major attractions. It's close to Costco so we went several times. Trains are about a 10 minute walk away so not that close. Not many nearby attractions but that's more of the layout of KaohSiung, we walked to the train and went to the art pier as well as cijin old street, and the Love's Lookout."
TAI Urban Resort
"Love this hotel after our first visit a few months ago. Back here with kids this time and I am still amazed by its modern design, great location and cozy environments. The only difference for the visit this time if the staff friendliness was bit disappointed with ineffective communication and less welcomed attitude at the lobby lounge afternoon tea area. Also the room cleaning service is not as comprehensive as last time. Hope they will improve."

"Although the facilities were a bit old, the river view was great. Overall it's a nice stay."

Single Inn (Kaohsiung Station)
"Good overall. The only thing I was not satisfied with was the sound insulation. However, the hotel does provide earplugs."
KUNG SHANG DESIGN HOTEL
"Room size is very big, compared to other Taiwan hotels we've stayed at. That's definitely a big plus. Downside is that the building is quite old - has a musty smell. Other than that, everything else is great."

"The environment is very good and clean."
Hub Hotel - KAOHSIUNG QIXIAN BRANCH
