Traveling throughout Gansu province can tend to be hectic so itās quite lovely to find a spot like Kaoshan Daying to stay at. David was very friendly and helpful, especially with his English language skills. He was always available by WeChat to answer questions.
The yurts are spacious and have necessary amenities including electric blankets and heaters, as well as hot water kettles. They are also clean, most importantly. The shared bathrooms provide shower flip flops and clean towels with lockers and hairdryers. There are sinks outside the yurts and they are also very clean.
The restaurant provides a large variety of ingredients to make a delicious hotpot. It was a quiet night when we stayed and we were able to get a great night of sleep. Our stop there was quite short, only 12 hours, but we wouldāve liked to have stayed longer.
