The newly opened guesthouse in Maoxian County is located on a small slope along Binhe Road. As soon as you climb the slope, you'll feel like you're in Lijiang. Once inside the courtyard, you'll be pleasantly surprised. The courtyard is exquisite, with lush greenery and a cool atmosphere. The rooms are even more delightful – new, spacious, and with separate wet and dry areas. The owner is also very friendly, proactively showing guests to their rooms and offering complimentary local fruits. I would definitely stay here again next time I visit.

The beautiful host is from Leshan and is so welcoming and generous! She even offered to pick us up and drop us off. The B&B is conveniently located right at the entrance to the scenic area. We stayed in a second-floor balcony room with a view. It was really nice to sit out there and chat over tea. 👍 The room was spotless and the bedding was comfortable. My parents and children loved it and said they'd definitely stay again. Five stars! I wish the host's business continues to prosper!

Maoxian Qingfeng Xiaolou ticks all the boxes you’d expect from a solid budget hotel — clean rooms, comfortable beds, fair price. But what made this stay genuinely memorable was the owner. Two moments stood out. On our first evening, my girlfriend realized she had run out of contact lens solution. Without hesitation, the owner offered to drive us to the city center at 9 PM just to help her find some. That kind of hospitality is rare anywhere, let alone at a budget stay. The second thing impressed me even more. He proactively checked our checkout schedule and noticed we were leaving later than the other guests, who had an early tour bus. So he quietly moved us to a different floor — so we could sleep in without being disturbed by the commotion. We didn’t ask. He just did it. If you’re routing through Maoxian between Jiuzhaigou and Dagu Glacier, this is exactly the kind of place you want to land at after a long travel day. Highly recommended.

⭐My first stay here completely exceeded my expectations—it was comfortable and satisfying from start to finish! The front desk service was thoughtful and attentive when I checked in. I was lucky enough to get a free upgrade to a deluxe private hot spring suite, which was a truly unexpected surprise! The suite comes with an extra-large, natural stone private hot spring tub. The stone has a raw, sturdy feel, and the water temperature was perfect for soaking, washing away all the travel fatigue. The terrace offers an incredible view; I could overlook the entire stunning nightscape of Maoxian while soaking, with the scattered lights and beautiful scenery all laid out before me. The ambiance was absolutely perfect. The room's soft furnishings are exquisitely arranged and well-thought-out, and all the amenities are complete and in perfect working order. The entire room is equipped with a smart voice control system, allowing me to control the lights, curtains, and appliances with just my voice, so I didn't have to keep searching for switches. It made the stay incredibly convenient. The hotel environment is clean and tidy, with attention to detail everywhere. It's perfectly suited for both leisure vacations and short-term stays. It's already on my list for a second visit, and it will be my top choice for accommodation when I come to Maoxian again. Highly recommended!

Looking for a less crowded place during the May Day holiday, I chose this place. The price was good too. For a place with all the amenities—food and lodging included, plus entertainment facilities—both adults and children were satisfied. I originally planned to go to Jiuding Mountain, but the flowers weren't in bloom and the path was difficult, so I went hiking in Songpinggou instead, haha. Come back soon and the mountains will be full of cherries, and in winter you can even ski. I highly recommend this place if you're ever here!

Facilities: This is a relatively new hotel with a simple yet elegant design. The bed and pillows are very comfortable, the duvet is clean, and the shower has great water pressure and is very warm. Both the lobby and the rooms have floor heating. Cleanliness: Very clean! The kitchen is also very clean; I saw washed dishes and cutlery being disinfected in the sanitizing cabinet at night, which is a big plus! Environment: Clean and hygienic. The owner is very genuine, and ordering food is convenient. After skiing, I just order food in the lobby and then go back to my room to change. They even come to call me when the food is ready, and the food is delicious! I'll definitely stay here again next time!

The hotel lobby and rooms are in different places. After check-in, someone took us to the accommodation area, which was a short walk, though only a few minutes, but it was raining. After checking in, we found there was no power. It was freezing cold, and after waiting ages for the engineer to arrive, it turned out the power had tripped. I mean, don't you guys check things beforehand? My child had already finished using the toilet, and when I went in, I found a cigarette butt in the trash can and ashes in the sink. (My child is only a few years old and doesn't smoke.) It was supposed to be a starry sky room, but with the rain, there were obviously no stars, but I still wanted to see them, but the glass was so dirty I couldn't see anything… To be fair, the breakfast was okay.

My stay here was a wonderful surprise! The hotel's location is superb, just a 5-minute walk from the subway station, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options conveniently nearby. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and efficient, and they even proactively upgraded our room. Our room was spacious and bright, the bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom facilities were brand new and spotless. Housekeeping was meticulous daily. A special mention goes to the rooftop restaurant – the breakfast selection was extensive, and we could enjoy stunning panoramic city views while dining. The value for money is exceptional, and I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to the city!

The location is at the back of the ancient Qiang city. You can visit the ancient Qiang city for free with your room card. It is a distance from the county town. The hotel building is full of Qiang characteristics. The environment is beautiful and you can see the snow-capped mountains in the distance. The disadvantage is that the layout and facilities in the room do not match the pictures on the website. There are a few sets of sofas missing. In addition, there is a problem with the wifi password and it cannot be connected.
