Check Protaras Hotels with Balcony

An excellent stay at all aspects. Tasty food ,really great service, clean hotel. Late checkout for free and writing now enjoying my tea with the best view from my room balcony. Definitely coming back!

This hotel definitely lives up to its 5* reviews, the staff are the stars of the show, the lads around the pool work their socks off, no chance of ever being thirsty & you can have a bit of banter with them aswell which is great. The restaurant, housekeeping & reception staff are equally fantastic. I feel bad to criticise the hotel in any way as it really is lovely however the sunbed situation almost ruined our holiday. There are plenty of sunbeds numerically however they aren’t all in great spots, the best spots being around the main pool & you need to have reserved one by 7am if that’s where you want to lay (the sign around the pool saying no reserving til 8 is pointless, nothing is done if you reserve early). This really did spoil the holiday for us as having to set an alarm to join in with everyone else did put a dampener on the holiday. The alternative was having to sunbathe in one of the less desirable locations such as in complete shade or near the shallow pool which lacked the atmosphere of the main pool. There is a grassed area near the main pool that had the large round couples beds, I would suggest this area be redesigned & be replaced with the individual loungers. There is no meaningful entertainment in the evening, if you want anything remotely entertaining or lively you need to go to the ***** but this is only a few minutes was away & full of tribute acts of varying quality although Jay Mercury as Freddie Mercury at the q bar was amazing & well worth trying to get in (get there early). This isn’t a criticism of the hotel though. The rooms themselves were as described, perhaps due some tlc however & the corridors were looking very tired. The food was 10/10 at all mealtimes you will not go hungry! Location wise, a perfect position, 2 minutes to the sea, 5 mins to the ***** & very quiet at night. So in summary, as long as there’s an early riser in the party to get the sunbeds & you don’t mind a quiet evening or a short walk to the ***** you will love it!

Currently on or last day at the sunrise jade and am gutted to be leaving later today. Sunrise jade is an outstanding hotel in such a beautiful location overlooking the beach and in walking distance to the beautiful fig tree beach where the water is crystal clear and warm. There are also many other beaches along the promenade. Protaras strips approx 10 minute walk and we walked both the promenade and Main Street where there is a few supermarkets on route. There is a bus stop just to the right outside the donkey supermarket at for €1:50 you get a trip to Ayia Napa which we went a few nights. The hotel is honestly the best we have ever stayed in every member of staff is curtious and attentive to detail with nothing to much trouble. The food is the best we have ever had and freshly cooked both breakfast and evening meal although the option of pizza would have been good on Italian night but that’s personal preference. The cakes are to die for and if you want soup it is served to you and brought to the table. The pools are amazing and not overly busy at times you would have the whole pool to yourself. The sun lounger allocation is a game changer you can be out all morning and come back to chill on your lounger all afternoon. There is no entertainment at this hotel so if your looking for any this won’t be the one for you. Maids were amazing cleaned rooms everyday and brought beautiful chocolates every evening to the room. It’s the little things that make this hotel a definite 5* and we will deffo be returning next year. Thank you to all the staff at this wonderful hotel they are a credit to the management and hope they get the recognition they truly deserve.

From the minute we arrived at this hotel to the minute we left we felt valued and looked after. Every single member of staff, regardless of role, was friendly, efficient and professional. We were greeted with a drink on arrival. There were no charges for things like the safe, towels, etc. and someone took us to our room and showed us how everything worked. Our suite was immaculately clean and sparkling. We soon found this the case with all the hotel areas. The allocated sun bed was great (we asked to be around the adult pool and was given a fab location). Even though this isn’t an adult only hotel it was peaceful and calm where we were. The food quality in this hotel is amazing and the dine around option included in half board is fantastic value for money. Location - can’t get any better. Right on the *****, so central to everything. Situated on the beach and the sea directly in front of the hotel has no rocks so you can literally walk straight in. It’s ridiculously clear and like a large bath. Customer service is second to none. Nothing is too much trouble. Frozen flannels were brought to your sunbed around noon. A small bowl of fresh fruit followed in the afternoon. There was a manager’s cocktail party which guests were invited to and this gave a really personal touch (shout out to Christos who is great). I’ve been to Cyprus quite a few times and got married at the Sunrise Beach. I will definitely come again and can honestly say that these two hotels are the best I have stayed at in Protaras!

We had an exceptional stay at Capo Bay! From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive The view from our room was very nice, with our private balcony. The room was spotless and spacious. The spa facilities were top-notch, with a serene atmosphere that immediately put us at ease. The massage therapists were professional and talented, leaving us feeling completely rejuvenated. The hotel’s restaurant was also excellent, offering a variety of delicious dishes that were perfect after a day of relaxation. Overall, our experience at Capo Bay was outstanding. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area and will definitely return on our next trip!

This is one lovely hotel! If you want a place that isn’t huge and over crowded then this is the place. Never short of a sun bed, the pool is never overcrowded and the accommodation is lovely. As for the staff well they are nothing short of incredible, they are friendly and welcoming and take the time to have a chat and a laugh. We will be back for sure!
