"Well... If anyone wants to stay in a hotel where James Bond lived in the 70s, then this is the hotel! The room has a toilet with a window + a very bad exhaust fan that sucks in all the smells from smoking + poor sound insulation, and all that. But it's a 25-minute walk from the train station and a 25-minute walk to the center and 15-20 minutes to the stadium, where the famous climb begins. The location is great, but the hotel itself is so-so..."

Excellent location just opposite to central station but 15-20mins to Piazza Maggiore/the old town centre. Service was very good, especially concierge. Very spacious room size. We are on the 7/F and got a view overlooking the city. The only issue was the sink drainage was not good and overflown. Overall good experience and recommended.

I just spent like a week at the Social Hub in Bologna and for sure can recommend it. For me, preferably walking the cities I visit, the Social Hub is situated at a perfect location. Just behind the train station, and really a stone throw away from the old town. I would vary my walks to the center, like first going to the University of Bologna, etc. From the Social Hub you can really reach anything on foot. The hotel itself is very welcoming, friendly, and has a very creative, entrepreneurial vibe. The room is just the perfect, and all is there what is usually needed. The public areas, including the pool, are very inviting to spend some time at, either to swim, have a coffee, or a chat with a fellow customer. All in all, kudos to the team from the Social Hun for their friendly and professional manner they manage it all! I’ll be back 😉

This was the cleanest hotel I have recently visited. Extremely kind and helpful staff at reception desk and breakfast room. Breakfast was diverse and tasty. Bed was comfortable, different pillows at disposal. Bathroom was clean and spacious. Hotel offers all necessary amenities. Bear in mind that hotel is not in the center - it takes around 20 minutes by bus (25) to the center. Bus stop is located right next to hotel. Area, where hotel is located is rather calm and tidy. One of the best experience I had in recent year. Thank you for hospitality and great service. Really recommend that place to stay during your trip to Bologna.

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel this past July for almost a week with the recommendation of Enrique. When I first arrived along with my husband, the people at the front of the door helped open the door. Checking in was very smooth with the help of the manager in the front (Laura). We were easily checked in and escorted upstairs to our room within a matter of minutes. Room was great with a nice patio overlooking a section of the Arno River. The location of the hotel is very nice as it is walking distance to the River. I even walked there during sunset hour. It is beautiful. My favorite part of the hotel was the breakfast buffet. In my opinion, it is better than the ones in America. The food was delicious. It was nice to try the coffee with their coffee machines. Might I add, not all hotels offer a juicer. While traveling, it can be hard to stay healthy so that juicer was very nice. The room was well air conditioned. It was well kept. The housekeeping lady did an amazing job keeping the room tidy. It was nice coming back to a cool room. Also, I forget the name of the young lady bartender... she was very nice and accommodating. The front desk even helped call the taxis when necessary since we're not from there. The lobby was also a nice place just to relax and cool down while waiting for a ride or just lounging. Would definitely recommend staying here and coming back again.

Good location. Paid (50€) extra to be in the main hotel and not their apartment somewhere nextdoor, not sure if it was worth it. It had a bit of a new spa feeling. All very new, think they are going for a boutique hotel style, but not classy. Nice terrace though.

The hostel is very clean, well located, and the staff are all very friendly. They even individually take you to your room when checking in. Breakfast is simple but complete, would recommend adding it, since it’s very accessible and convenient! Overall great experience!
