"This was a surprising find. Only a five-minute walk from the train station and a beautiful setting. There was a spa and a small gym. The room was cozy and a little tight, but had a fridge and pot to make hot water. Bed was comfy and warm. The lobby area was ample and we could have spent more time there, but were too intent on getting to know Bologna."

"This place is absolutely excellent. It caters for all ages and I will certainly consider using again as a workspace also. The Social Hub is a great concept that will mostly appeal to a younger crowd although all are most definitely welcome.
The rooms are excellent, thoughtful and have everything you need. The staff are all excellent. Location wise this is perfect for access to Bologna Centrale Station. As many travellers will know Railway Stations anywhere in the world are not always located in the safest parts of a city. Although nothing happened and I did not necessarily feel threatened I was very cautious as I was travelling alone with my teenage daughter so also need to consider her safety."

"I stayed at the hotel in April for six nights. The receptionists and the cafe were very friendly, the bed was comfortable for me, the linen was clean and pleasant, and it was warm enough in the room. Breakfasts are paid, 8€, buffet, there is plenty to choose from, there is always fruit, pastries, and the coffee is wonderful. The hotel is really a bit tired, the door to the toilet in my room didn't close (it wasn't critical for me), the TV didn't work (there was no particular need for it), and the shower curtain was a bit moldy. Since I only slept in the room, I tried not to pay much attention to it."

"It's about a 20-minute walk from the station. I think the service is OK, but the sound insulation is a bit poor and the key is a bit difficult to use. It's not just a matter of inserting the keyhole into it. It has to be aligned to a certain depth where there will be a latch, and you have to turn it to that depth before it can be used."

"The hotel is located right in the old town; the rooms, bathroom, and elevator are very small. A bit of an imposition for someone who's 180cm tall or not slim.
The staff is friendly, though. The reception is open 24 hours a day. However, I had to pay a higher city tax than stated.
So, it's a good place to stay without any luxury, but absolutely adequate for a few days.
The bed is a bit harder, which I personally found quite good. It's not saggy. It's difficult to ventilate the room, although the windows can be opened. However, it's also noisy.
Air conditioning was also included, which was very good."

"I wish I could book directly on combo, not through booking or whatever the other connector was... It was unclear about the check-in time. I found out after I payed and made the booking. After all, I had a nice cosy stay, the food was nice, the staff was nice, might come again.

GGuest UserThe location although 7 km from the city center that seems near it is not! You have to walk 15-20 min to the nearest bus station and then there are only 2 buses running every hour to reach city center. If you miss the first one then you have to wait another 25 minutes for the second one!
If you are planning your trip on foot avoid this one. If you rent a car there is a parking lot outside in the courtyard of the hotel and several more just outside the hotel on the street. Both parking spots are in the open. Hotel offers a closed parking spot in its basement but on pay.
We had to change room the next day of our arrival as there was a noise coming out of the ventilation system. A supervisor came to inspect the room and after verifying our sayings offered us a room 2 floor down.
During our stay one of the three lift was out of order and it was a nightmare to come down in the morning during peak hours. All three days we were getting to lobby by stairs.

GGuest UserLocation is very near to the bologna centrale station ~ 5 mins away. Good especially if you’re lugging a lot of luggages but quite a walk away from the main piazza shopping area ~ took us around 15-20 mins.
Room provides 3in1 cappucino and milk creamer! Not all hotels provide these. There are English Tv channels. There is pillow menu even! Room is clean, kettle is cleaned sparkly too.
Toilet light went faulty during our stay; flickering. We called reception to inform and she was supposed to call us back to let us know if their technician was still around at work to come and fix it or not but she may have forgotten to return us back the call. Checking out the next day so we didn’t bother but for guests staying longer you may have to call back reception to check….

Oh, this is a hotel I have encountered in Italy with a complete elevator. From the door, I can drag the box directly into the lobby and then into the elevator. Unlike many hotels, I need to walk a few steps before entering the elevator. For us with large suitcases, this is too convenient!
There are many supermarkets around, the nearest aldi is less than 100 meters, there is a conad not far away, you can eat in the supermarket, there are microwave ovens and other equipment. Most of the hotel rooms are Italian sockets, there are many, there is a European socket, personally feel enough.

GGuest UserThe hotel was only a 15-20-minute walk from the train station. The rooms were much bigger than expected with a comfy couch (and blankets) and TV. There was also an Alexa set up and she played music when directed and was pleasant. The kitchenette had ample utensils and cookware, but no napkins or paper towels. They supplied cold water in a pitcher as well as several bottles of wine (NOT complementary, but reasonably priced. The prices on the list in the room differed from the prices at the front desk, tho.) The complementary slippers were used every day as the tile floors were chilly. There was always enough hot water in the showers, but one bathroom light was out the whole time we were there (reported it to the front desk on the first day and they said they already knew about it, but were waiting on maintenance to fix. We had to make due without it for the six days we were there.) There were instructions on how to use each of the appliances (much appreciated!). It was a short walk to restaurants and cafes and the shopping district. Great accommodations for the price point and lots of room.

IImane95Perfect hotel all in all, I couldn't find any dissatisfaction point to mention, starting from location to the services and amenities if you're looking for an amazing stay in Bologna book this place, you'll be literally 5 minutes walk from the center and main attractions, you'll enjoy the decoration inside the hotel and the various amenities, and you'll be welcomed very warmly by the staff who are super friendly and helpful. Will comeback here again whenever I'm visiting Bologna

Una hotel has the top notch room service, literally the best one I have ever experienced, which also raised my bar for later trips. Personalized pillows for cervical spondylosis, strict hygiene standards, definitely recommend.
However the bar is a bit too annoying. I craved for hot water but there’s no kettle in the room, which is totally fine, so I went to the bar downstairs and asked for a cup of hot water. The water was disgusting with a taste of rusty pipes, and the mug was so dirty with TEA STAIN from bottom to top. I really don’t understand why did he do this to me. I politely asked him if I can have a cup of hot water and thanked him for this, there’s no reason he should serve me a filthy mug.

GGuest UserThe hostel provides you with the bare necessities, such as a comfortable bed, a spacious room and locker including a lock, and a small bedlight and socket.
Unfortunately, that is also literally it and nothing more. There are no curtains for the beds. The bathroom is super weirdly laid out; there is a bathroom with shower, the only toilet and a sink behind a door; then in front of that, there is another sink and a shower. WITH NO DOOR. Making this shower literally unusable. There are two light switches in the bathroom, one that turns on the light in the back bathroom (behind the door) AND a light for the front sink. This means that, if people are sleeping in the bed next to the bathroom, there is literally light shining directly on their face and all the sounds. A problem easily solved by adding a door and curtains on the beds.
The bathrooms didn’t have hand soap (they were empty) or any shower amenities (no shower gel). You have to pay if you want a towel, and you also have to make your own bed.
There is also a lot of noise from the neighbours, what seems like a student accommodation.
At this kind of price range, the level of amenities is terribly disappointing and could be easily solved. I have stayed in hostels all over the world and sadly this one was just one of two options in Bologna, so not much choice. There are really a lot of simple improvements possible that would have made it worth it, but I really cannot say this is value for money at all.

At the reception they gave us a city map. We were very upset, the room was supposed to have a refrigerator, we bought good cheese, wanted to eat it the next day, and the refrigerator turned out to be completely out of order, the food was gone.
