Weihai Beach Hotels

The hotel room was pretty good, clean and hygienic. Hmm, it just had a slight, strange smell. I don't understand why they chose a cardboard lampshade for the bedside lamp – you know, that corrugated kind glued together. Glued items like that release formaldehyde! Anyway, everything else was tidied up very well. The duvet was also changed to a lighter summer one. The view outside the window is great, and for a hotel right by the sea, the value for money is quite good.

The hotel environment is quiet and pleasant. Special commendation to the front desk staff – check-in was efficient, they patiently answered all our questions about local attractions, and their service was attentive and enthusiastic. We had a great travel experience and highly recommend this place! The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and tasted good. Overall, a fantastic experience.

Five-star praise! Traveling with npy, the hotel specially left room 520, and also arranged a lot of balloons in the room. The hotel's seafood buffet is also good, including black tiger shrimp and crabs and other categories, and the oysters are a bit slow and harmless. Guests can avoid bathing tickets, go out to play and take a bath to wash away the fatigue of the day (note that Tangquan closes at 11 o'clock). It is a pity that I didn't experience late porridge to the service because I returned to the hotel late, so I will experience it next time. Before leaving, the front desk lady also sent a doll, the real name liked (the photo has been approved by the front desk sister to shoot).

The connecting room was great for families with two kids, but on the first night, we found a rust-colored stain on the duvet cover. We contacted the front desk, and housekeeping immediately came to change it. Overall, the service was quite good, with staff being polite and proactive. They brought fresh fruit, yogurt, and bottled water to our room every day. The sea-view room had a balcony with an amazing view, and it was convenient for drying clothes. Breakfast options were a bit limited, and the taste was average. It cost 48 RMB per person, and children over 1.2 meters were charged the same. After eating there on the first day, we ordered takeout (Shen Gui Xian Bing) for the rest of our stay. Both the hotel's Chinese restaurant and Korean restaurant were good. We ate at the Chinese restaurant four times; it was not only convenient but also had great food and fresh ingredients.

1. The room was spacious and well-partitioned: the double bed was large, and there was also a tatami mat of about 1.2 meters, making the most of the space. The wet and dry areas were completely separated, with a separate pantry, toilet, and shower room. 2. The soundproofing was excellent, and the surroundings were quiet. The hotel is located behind the city hall, making it very peaceful, and the area was quiet at night. 3. The laundry room and gym were small, but clothes were delivered to our door after washing and drying. 4. The location was great, very convenient for reaching Weigao Plaza, and surrounded by places popular with locals. Dining was very easy, with many delicious options nearby, and no bad choices. It was also convenient for visiting the morning market, seafood wholesale market, parks, and the pier. 5. The service was excellent, and we had a pleasant stay for all 3 days. The front desk staff also provided information on local attractions. There was a complimentary night porridge, but as someone on a diet, I didn't try it.

She was patient and meticulous when answering our questions, communicated gracefully, and handled issues professionally and reliably. Upon learning that my wife had mobility issues and it was her first time visiting a coastal city, she kindly upgraded us to a room with an excellent sea view. She actively introduced us to breakfast options and local attractions, and her demeanor was gentle and approachable. Her thoughtful service greatly enhanced our stay. When I suddenly experienced severe abdominal pain at night, and being older, we weren't adept at purchasing medicine online, she went out of her way to buy the medication for us at her own expense. She even delivered it to our room with hot water, which made us feel very comfortable. The overall experience was excellent. We will definitely choose **Luxury Blue Horizon Hotel Weihai** again on our next visit. Highly recommended!

Close to the beach. I was worried after booking because I'd spent two days looking for a hotel and hadn't found anything suitable, but it turned out pretty good. It's a standard hotel, generally clean, with automatic curtains. You can rent umbrellas at the front desk if it rains. The breakfast is decent – not super refined, but better than just steamed buns, eggs, and pickles. Overall, it's definitely a good choice. The hotel is very secluded, and there's a small convenience store nearby. It's great for kids to run around in the courtyard downstairs.

The room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable to rest in. The ocean-view room they arranged had a fantastic, wide-open view. The location couldn't be more convenient—right downstairs is a shopping district, and right across the street is a beautiful beach, with a lovely park across the way that's great for an evening stroll. Mavies at the front desk was warm, friendly, and welcoming, and the buffet breakfast was also quite good. Overall, it was a very comfortable and satisfying stay.

We visited Weihai during the May Day holiday and chose the Weihai International Business Hotel, which is very close to the pier, to go to Liugong Island. It's a 15-minute walk to the pier. With children, we took a taxi, which was a 3-minute ride. After a long day at Liugong Island, we were exhausted and were able to quickly return to the hotel to rest. The room butler, Lina, provided exceptionally attentive service. She had already hung the children's laundry on the closet door and hung it out to dry by the window when we returned. The hotel is a state-owned enterprise. It was quite early, but the hotel was clean, and the bedding was very comfortable. The only downside was the slightly stiff bath towels. The view from the sea-view room was unbeatable. We could see the Liugong Island pier and enjoy the beautiful sunset.

The hotel is a bit old, with that classic, slightly musty smell you find in older establishments. I always have to run the air conditioning for a while after checking in before it feels comfortable. The room itself is very spacious, which is a plus. The location is excellent – just a few minutes' walk to the beach, and it's especially close to the Zhanqiao Pier, perfect for sunset photos. The breakfast buffet is pretty standard hotel fare; nothing special, but enough to fill you up. The staff service is great; they're always ready to replenish water and towels. Overall, the hotel is basically on par with a typical inn; don't expect too much, and it meets the standard for its price.
