"When I came to Weihai three or four years ago, I booked this guesthouse, and I was very satisfied with it at the time. So this time, I chose it again. However, the check-in experience was not as satisfying as the last time. The first obvious issue was the elevator – it took forever to catch one. The second was the room's cleanliness; the glass door of the bathroom was completely grimy, and the shower area was right outside the bathroom door. After showering, the entire bathroom floor would be wet if you needed to use the toilet. Plus, the shower drain was clogged and didn't drain, leading to standing water. The third problem was the sewer smell. It was somewhat tolerable with the windows open during the day, but at night, with the windows closed, the smell filled the entire room. Luckily, I only stayed for two nights. If you're booking the same room type as mine, I suggest you inquire about these issues beforehand. The location is convenient; the beach is right downstairs, and there are people singing on the beach at night. For this room type, parents with small children should be aware of the steps, as kids might trip easily at first."

"This hotel is very close to Weihai Railway Station. The lobby is spacious, and the rooms are clean. I had a good experience during my two-day stay. The front desk was very responsive to requests; dental floss and a charging adapter were delivered to my room with just one phone call. The service was excellent. The hotel is surrounded by a huge commercial area, Hanlefong, with plenty of food and drink options. It's also not too far from the seaside park. Avoiding the summer heat, it's very pleasant to take a walk to the seaside park to look at the sea at sunset. Sharing some views of the marine park."

"The hotel called us in advance to confirm our check-in time and sent us a message with directions. When we arrived, they even upgraded us to a suite and prepared small gifts for the kids, which was very thoughtful. The breakfast was decent; it's not a five-star hotel, but it had everything we needed. The late check-out was also great – the kids got to play in the sea, come back for a shower, and then we checked out, which was super convenient. I left a ring behind, and customer service messaged me about it. It's the kind of small item that's easily overlooked, which shows how meticulous the housekeeping staff are. Being right on the beach downstairs was incredibly convenient too."

"Very satisfied, come back next time! This stay experience is great! The location is adjacent to the west gate of Shandong University, and the Shanda Night Market is downstairs. There are all kinds of snacks, which is particularly convenient. The room is in Yinfeng Apartment, clean and new, very comfortable to live, and the stay is very good. "I was surprised the ocean view from the 14th floor was so great. What truly stood out was their incredibly thoughtful and attentive service. From the front desk staff during check-in to the concierge manager upon departure, every staff member we encountered was patient, helpful, and very considerate. I also didn't expect the complimentary afternoon tea to be so good; enjoying tea with the ocean view was a perfect way to experience the scenery without getting scorched by the sun. To avoid the crowds, we went to Liugong Island early, and the 6:30 AM breakfast was already complete and plentiful. They even extended our check-out time to 2 PM, giving us ample time to pack and head to our next destination. Highly recommended!"

"The room had no strange smells, was spacious and comfortable, definitely a high-end hotel type. Breakfast was abundant, and the location was super convenient – right outside the station! It's also very close to Hanlefang Night Market, making getting around easy. We rented an electric scooter and I highly recommend (Bajie Rentals) downstairs; the owner is really nice. Weihai left a great impression on us. We were so busy having fun that we didn't take any photos of the hotel, but I definitely recommend this place."

It's quiet and restorative, making it the top choice for a vacation. I'll definitely stay here again. The staff were gentle and patient. "I serendipitously stumbled upon New Journey Hotel online, and it made my three-day trip even more wonderful. The hotel entrance isn't grand, but once you go upstairs, it's surprisingly spacious with many rooms. The rooms are well-equipped, clean, and tidy, and the breakfast selection is plentiful. On the day of check-in, the hotel even sent us public transportation options and taxi fares from the hotel to various attractions. "Very comfortable! I really enjoyed having a king-size bed all to myself. The mirror with the light was great for makeup, and there's a full-length mirror opposite the coat rack by the entrance, which was perfect for checking out my outfits and taking full-body selfies. It was really good."
