Housekeeping cleans the room daily and promptly, ensuring it's tidy and clean, and the mini-bar drinks are refilled on time. At 9:30 PM, the restaurant even offers complimentary 'goodnight porridge,' which is a thoughtful touch. The only minor drawback was that the room I stayed in this time was on a lower floor, and the view outside wasn't great. However, the hotel's soundproofing was quite good, which was a plus."

"The room has a superb sea view and is conveniently located close to the university (the purpose of my visit) with plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. It is very large and pleasant to use for a solo traveler, with a proper deck to do some work and a confortable mattress. It also comes with a washing machine (a pleasant surprise), a fridge and a microwave. My only minor complaints about the room are: - it has all the essentials but not any ”nice to have”. A few glasses (not paper ones) and or kitchenware would be nice to make good use of the kitchen. Likewise, providing one or two doses of washing powder would be convenient to use the washing machine. - the temperature of the hot water is inconsistent: after setting the temperature to something I liked, it kept fluctuating from warmer to fresher - some amenities are a bit old and start to show their age with some small stains on the lower. However, given the price this is an extremely good value for money."

It's also close to the train and bus stations. It's a bit of a distance from Torch Eight Street, about a 30-minute taxi ride. The hotel front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is also quiet at night. However, there are a few rather unique aspects: 1. There's a turnstile between the lobby and the elevators that requires a room card swipe. While swiping a room card for the elevator is common, having an additional turnstile like an office building is unusual and overly cumbersome. 2. The room layout is very unique; you have to 'search' for the toilet, shower, walk-in closet, and toiletries, as they are not immediately obvious. The closet door, when pulled out, directly blocks the entrance door. 3. A deposit is required upon check-in, though the refund process is quick. 4. For luggage storage, you need to scan a QR code yourself. It's free for up to 6 hours, and even if you exceed that, the front desk can still arrange free storage. 5. I stayed for two consecutive nights on two separate bookings. Even though I had called the night before to confirm a continuous stay without room cleaning or changes, the next day I couldn't open my door upstairs and had to go back to the front desk on the first floor to swipe my card again. I've had similar situations in Yantai where I could smoothly use my card for continuous check-in without this double process. Overall, the staff were very helpful, and they promptly contacted me when I left an item behind, which I greatly appreciated. However, the overall check-in experience felt less than user-friendly, with various cumbersome procedures. I'm not sure if this management style is typical for hotels in Weihai or just this particular one. It's not necessarily bad, just very different – I haven't encountered these specific situations anywhere else in the country."

"Overall, this hotel offers great value for money and exceeded our expectations, especially for a quiet family vacation. However, Weihai is a very long and narrow city from north to south. I wouldn't recommend it if your main destination is Torch Eight Street, as it's very, very far. It's much more suitable if your main destination is Hanlefang. From the hotel, you can easily reach Jiulong Bay Park with a minimum fare, which is great for kids to go crabbing and many locals also come here to pick clams. **Facilities:** The bedding is very comfortable, especially for someone like me who is particular about pillows – I was very satisfied. Other facilities are standard for this price point, including a swimming pool and a gym. The shallow end of the pool is 1.2 meters deep, and the water temperature is 28-29 degrees Celsius. **Hygiene:** The room felt very new, and the cleanliness was impeccable. Those with young children can rest assured. **Environment:** The hotel's interior is excellent. On our first day, it was very windy, and our child played in the lobby on the ground floor for half the day without getting bored. The exterior is a relatively quiet residential area. **Service:** They offer pick-up and drop-off service from Weihai Station, and there were welcome fruits. If we had any issues, the butler was always reachable. Upon check-out, they thoughtfully gave us some fruits and snacks. The breakfast selection was rich and tasty, and baby utensils were available."

"This is a very old 5-star hotel, and the design feels dated. There was also a noticeable damp and musty smell. When we first checked in, we were given a room on the 5th floor. As soon as we opened the door, there was a strong wet and musty smell, so we requested to change rooms. The hotel moved us to a room just two doors away, which was much better and had less of the smell. However, the windows could not be opened. The location is good, and the hotel is connected to a beautiful bridge where you can enjoy a nice sea view. Overall, the hotel really needs some renovation and updating as it feels quite old. If you decide to stay here, you may want to request a higher-floor room."

The hotel is centrally located, with a mall right downstairs and close proximity to the beach, which made getting around very convenient. Our room was clean and comfortable with a nice sea view. "Today, I experienced a courtyard room with a private hot spring tub in Weihai, and it was truly unique to the area. From the moment I stepped in, I knew it was special. Perhaps for someone who grew up in the north, the concept of a room with its own private courtyard and hot tub isn't common, so seeing it for the first time felt incredibly novel. Opening the door revealed a private courtyard and a hot spring pool; you can even stargaze while soaking at night. The room has a Japanese-style natural wood aesthetic. The bedding was super comfortable, and listening to the wind chimes at night was incredibly therapeutic. After exploring Huancuilou Park during the day, coming back to another soak in the hot spring felt so different from any hotel I've stayed in before. After this experience, I really didn't want to check out!"

It's located in Weihai's Xiaoshidao Scenic Area, right next to Huoju Bajie, with a beach nearby. It's a quiet retreat despite being in a popular area. I usually have high standards for accommodation and rarely stay in guesthouses, but I was generally quite satisfied with this one. Let's talk about the pros: the facilities are complete, with free snacks and drinks, good Wi-Fi, and a TV that supports screen mirroring. The bedding is comfortable, and the toiletries are the popular Anaya brand, which has a very soothing scent. The shower pressure is excellent, and the guesthouse is very quiet at night. The environment is absolutely beautiful, and the service is also great. They actively greet guests and help with luggage, and even drive you to the parking lot after check-out. If you have any issues, you can contact the butler via WeChat, and they respond promptly and are very accommodating. Now for the cons: the guesthouse's location is a double-edged sword. Getting in and out by car can be quite congested. There are hardly any good restaurants near the surrounding attractions, so you'll need to drive a few kilometers for meals. Breakfast can get crowded and a bit chaotic. The hotel's entertainment facilities are quite limited, with only a small pool suitable for children and a coffee bar. Overall, I was still very satisfied and would recommend it."
