It's quite lively, which probably explains why it's so popular. However, parking is inconvenient; you have to walk quite a distance. Also, in my room, I had absolutely no 4G signal. It might be a good option for those who don't drive."

"The hotel called us in advance to confirm our check-in time and sent us a message with directions. When we arrived, they even upgraded us to a suite and prepared small gifts for the kids, which was very thoughtful. The breakfast was decent; it's not a five-star hotel, but it had everything we needed. The late check-out was also great – the kids got to play in the sea, come back for a shower, and then we checked out, which was super convenient. I left a ring behind, and customer service messaged me about it. It's the kind of small item that's easily overlooked, which shows how meticulous the housekeeping staff are. Being right on the beach downstairs was incredibly convenient too."

"Pros: Very close to Weihai Station and right next to Hanlefang, which is convenient for evening strolls and dining. Being on a high floor also made it easy to find. The room came with a bathtub, the bedding was very comfortable, and the hygiene was generally good. Cons: The room didn't have USB charging ports. Although a charging cable was provided, it only offered 5 minutes of free charging, after which a fee was required. The lounge area is behind the security gate, requiring a room card to access, so once you check out, you're immediately disconnected from the hotel. There's no restroom in the lobby, and luggage storage is through self-service lockers, with a fee starting after six hours. It feels a bit less personal compared to typical hotels."

"The room had no strange smells, was spacious and comfortable, definitely a high-end hotel type. Breakfast was abundant, and the location was super convenient – right outside the station! It's also very close to Hanlefang Night Market, making getting around easy. We rented an electric scooter and I highly recommend (Bajie Rentals) downstairs; the owner is really nice. Weihai left a great impression on us. We were so busy having fun that we didn't take any photos of the hotel, but I definitely recommend this place."

As someone who works in the hotel industry, I thoroughly read through all the reviews, both positive and negative, before booking. I wanted to ensure my parents had a convenient and comfortable stay. This hotel's service truly impressed me! The front desk staff was very accommodating and arranged the room according to our needs. Knowing it was for my parents, they thoughtfully held a room for them and even provided me with the room number in advance. My dad was very happy with his stay. Although the room wasn't exceptionally large, it was impeccably clean and well-maintained. During their extended stay, housekeeping arranged for daily cleaning and replenished all disposable amenities. Currently, during the off-season, the price is quite affordable, yet I felt like I was getting a much more expensive experience for what I paid – truly excellent value! I didn't stay myself, so I don't have photos, but my parents' feedback was overwhelmingly positive. I was so relieved knowing they were comfortable and well-cared for, which gave me great peace of mind. Business is tough these days, and while a hypercritical person might find minor flaws given the price (even expensive hotels face such scrutiny), for 90% of people, I honestly believe this hotel offers incredible value for money! Had a very comfortable stay, everything was on point! Special shout-out to the *Guobao rou* (sweet and sour pork) at breakfast – it was even better than what you'd get at a restaurant. Plus, breakfast runs until 11 AM, which was perfect for our family of late risers. The hotel also has a laundry room and is close to the beach, so it was super convenient to wash clothes after a fun day out. If we come back to Weihai, we'll definitely choose City Express again!

Right by Jiulong Bay, the room was clean and tidy with a floor-to-ceiling window offering a stunning sea view. It was super convenient for beachcombing and swimming, just a short walk downstairs. Getting to Xianghai and the city center was also very easy; walking along the coast towards the city, you'll pass various beautiful seaside parks all along the way.

The room was spacious and bright, and the cleanliness was impeccable – the bathroom was spotless. The bed was super comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. We absolutely loved our stay here! The room was exactly as shown in the photos—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with a washing machine, kettle, complimentary bottled water, and even laundry detergent pods. Our receptionist went the extra mile by bringing us cold bottles of water instead of room-temperature ones, which was such a thoughtful gesture. They also provided us a list of places to eat- using AI I created an image - I hope it can help future visitors. 🌸 I will highly recommend ‘JUST WAVE’ as a place to eat as well. The bathroom was exceptionally clean, and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. We stayed in Room 703, and although the entrance can be a little tricky to find at first. The people in the building were incredibly kind and helped point us in the right direction. One of the highlights of our trip was hiring scooters from the shop just downstairs. It was such a fun adventure and the perfect way to explore Weihai! As a small suggestion, a full-length mirror in the room and a sign at the elevator entrance with the homestay’s name in English and “7th Floor” would make arrival even easier for international guests. Thank you for making our stay so memorable. Receiving a beautiful Weihai souvenir when we checked out was the perfect finishing touch and showed how much you care about your guests. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Weihai. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The views of Yuan Lake are fantastic, and you can even spot the high-speed train. My partner and I were very impressed with the Chinese restaurant's dishes. The 'Old Chef Cabbage' brought back childhood memories of home-cooked meals, and the 'Guo Bao Rou' (sweet and sour pork) was quite authentic, though the batter was a bit thick. The sour radish and tripe dish was a great appetizer. The only minor drawback was that during the May Day holiday, there were a lot of families with children. The hotel's soundproofing isn't great, and the kids upstairs were running and jumping until past 10 PM. Plus, there was a persistent metallic noise coming from the ceiling.

You can see Bloubergstrand right when you wake up, and the beach is super close, just a short walk away. Compared to other hotels in the same price range, the environment and hygiene here are much cleaner, and there are no strange smells. Plus, the front desk lady was very helpful and accommodating; we arrived quite late at night, and she was still very attentive and responsible.

This was my first time staying in a deluxe sea view king room at Rongcheng Nishi Haitai, and I was absolutely thrilled with the experience! Stepping onto the balcony, you're greeted by the stunning blue ocean – a panorama of sky blue and sea blue that really amplifies the sense of vastness.
