The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The front desk service was warm and attentive. Stepping out, you're just a few steps from the beach. It's quiet and restorative, making it the top choice for a vacation. I'll definitely stay here again. The staff were gentle and patient. Waking up to the sound of waves in the morning was wonderful, and it's super photogenic. Excellent value for money, highly recommended!"

"I serendipitously stumbled upon New Journey Hotel online, and it made my three-day trip even more wonderful. The hotel entrance isn't grand, but once you go upstairs, it's surprisingly spacious with many rooms. The rooms are well-equipped, clean, and tidy, and the breakfast selection is plentiful. On the day of check-in, the hotel even sent us public transportation options and taxi fares from the hotel to various attractions. Another pleasant surprise was that the beach was just one street away. Overall, it was great! I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Weihai."

"The hotel called us in advance to confirm our check-in time and sent us a message with directions. When we arrived, they even upgraded us to a suite and prepared small gifts for the kids, which was very thoughtful. The breakfast was decent; it's not a five-star hotel, but it had everything we needed. The late check-out was also great – the kids got to play in the sea, come back for a shower, and then we checked out, which was super convenient. I left a ring behind, and customer service messaged me about it. It's the kind of small item that's easily overlooked, which shows how meticulous the housekeeping staff are. Being right on the beach downstairs was incredibly convenient too."

"This hotel is very close to Weihai Railway Station. The lobby is spacious, and the rooms are clean. I had a good experience during my two-day stay. The front desk was very responsive to requests; dental floss and a charging adapter were delivered to my room with just one phone call. The service was excellent. The hotel is surrounded by a huge commercial area, Hanlefong, with plenty of food and drink options. It's also not too far from the seaside park. Avoiding the summer heat, it's very pleasant to take a walk to the seaside park to look at the sea at sunset. Sharing some views of the marine park."

"The hotel's location is excellent, right by Half Moon Bay beach. The room was spacious with two 1.35m double beds that could be pushed together to form a super large bed. It also came with a small yard, perfect for drying swimsuits and towels after a dip in the sea. The staff provided great service, offering welcome fruits and complimentary bottled water. Upon checkout, we even received a complimentary souvenir. While the hotel breakfast didn't offer many choices and the soundproofing was average, overall it was a good stay. Being able to walk out and enjoy digging in the sand and playing in the water was a fantastic experience."

When we checked in, the staff even gave us some beach toys, and there are shared electric scooters and quad bikes available for rent right outside the hotel. The room was huge and had a mini-fridge. It was so relaxing to sit by the window, look at the ocean, and enjoy some takeout. We even extended our stay for another night! The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home. 👍🏻 A special shout-out: The hotel breakfast is absolutely amazing – don't miss it! (◔_◔) haha 🙊 (chuckle)"

"The room had no strange smells, was spacious and comfortable, definitely a high-end hotel type. Breakfast was abundant, and the location was super convenient – right outside the station! It's also very close to Hanlefang Night Market, making getting around easy. We rented an electric scooter and I highly recommend (Bajie Rentals) downstairs; the owner is really nice. Weihai left a great impression on us. We were so busy having fun that we didn't take any photos of the hotel, but I definitely recommend this place."

As someone who works in the hotel industry, I thoroughly read through all the reviews, both positive and negative, before booking. I wanted to ensure my parents had a convenient and comfortable stay. This hotel's service truly impressed me! The front desk staff was very accommodating and arranged the room according to our needs. Knowing it was for my parents, they thoughtfully held a room for them and even provided me with the room number in advance. My dad was very happy with his stay. Although the room wasn't exceptionally large, it was impeccably clean and well-maintained. During their extended stay, housekeeping arranged for daily cleaning and replenished all disposable amenities. Currently, during the off-season, the price is quite affordable, yet I felt like I was getting a much more expensive experience for what I paid – truly excellent value! I didn't stay myself, so I don't have photos, but my parents' feedback was overwhelmingly positive. I was so relieved knowing they were comfortable and well-cared for, which gave me great peace of mind. Business is tough these days, and while a hypercritical person might find minor flaws given the price (even expensive hotels face such scrutiny), for 90% of people, I honestly believe this hotel offers incredible value for money! The room was clean and comfortable with excellent facilities. The entire hotel smelled lovely. Breakfast was abundant and hygienic. I especially want to commend the service; it's the best I've experienced in any hotel. Every staff member, from the front desk to the restaurant and housekeeping, had a great attitude. This is my first time seriously writing a negative review. * **Serious hygiene issues:** The chopstick holder in the restaurant was very dirty, and the corners of the bathroom were old and rundown. * **Poor sound insulation:** On the 13th floor, I could hear noise from the hallway, and the upstairs neighbors frequently made thumping and running sounds at 11 PM. The smell from the 6th-floor restaurant could be smelled with the windows open. Rooms not facing the ocean were very close to the adjacent building, so we had to keep the sheer curtains closed all day. * **Obvious renovation smell:** The bunk beds in the family room still had a noticeable odor, and the hallway smelled strongly of disinfectant. * **Service:** The restaurant staff were quite good, and the housekeeping lady was excellent. The male front desk staff member was also good, but the female staff needs to improve her service awareness. When I called to ask for children's toiletries, she said she would check and send them if available. This is a family-friendly hotel, how can they not have children's toiletries?

I feel fragrant when I walk in (it should be a aromatherapy, and the cleaning is also very clean (it is too tired to come back after playing every day, I have no time to take pictures), and I can see the sea when I open the curtains. Next, please comment on the No. 1 Xiaojiaojiao residents: The little girl feels beautiful~ mainly because the service attitude is super good! ! The store is what Doraemon wants, the room facilities are perfect, exactly the same as the net map, don't be afraid of stepping on thunder, I am not trusting. Five-star recommendation! Finally, the ancient style of ”Literature Dana” Xiaosheng Mu made a poem for this perfect homestay: The night outside the window is vast, and the window is black. Dozens of steps with friends, such as across the river. Will write a good sentence in red, Bella B&B is awesome. Mengjiao writes small new words, and I pick up a poem.

Super Convenient Location! This place is in a prime spot! It’s incredibly close to both the bus station (coming from Yantai) and the high-speed railway station (coming from Qingdao). You can easily walk there in less than 10 minutes, which made traveling so hassle-free. Smooth Check-In & Lovely Room The property is inside a condo-style building that hosts multiple hotels. For this one, just head up to the 12th floor to check in. I arrived early around 11:00 AM, and they kindly let me check in right away! The room itself was very spacious, clean, and fully equipped with amenities. It has a nice window, and you can adjust the AC yourself, which was great. Great Amenities & Helpful Staff The staff were wonderful and super helpful via WeChat, making communication so easy. The location is also fantastic—it’s right near the Hanlefang Pedestrian Street. There are about 3 convenience stores right underneath the building and 3–4 restaurants nearby, so finding food or snacks is never an issue. Plus, getting to other tourist attractions by taxi from here is super convenient! Summary: Perfect location, great facilities, and wonderful service. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Weihai! 💖

First of all, the decor is great; I loved it at first sight, and the room matches the picture perfectly. It's very clean, the room is spacious, and it's soundproof—not noisy at all. Downstairs is the Shandong University Night Market, with tons of delicious and cheap food to choose from, including supermarkets, fruit shops, restaurants, and more. In short, buy it without hesitation, no complaints!!!

I loved this resort! I highly recommend staying here for an amazing and relaxing time! The hotel is excellent! It was clean, the staff was super friendly and helpful. The front desk even had a fantastic girl that spoke perfect English. I spent most of my time soaking in the numerous hot springs, and there are at least 20 of them. There is also an indoor pool and hot tubs, and the outdoor pool will be open in May. There was this darling worker who kept the tea coming all the time. I'd ask for a lake view the next time so I could sit in the room and enjoy the view. The restaurant was excellent. The breakfast was also really well stocked. The only thing I would add is yougart. I can overstate what a wonderful experience this weekend was. If you are wanting to go into the city and see the sights, it is a little far, around 75RMB for a DiDi. And the spa, although it was really nice, was on the expensive side. I will be back! 10/10

You can see Bloubergstrand right when you wake up, and the beach is super close, just a short walk away. Compared to other hotels in the same price range, the environment and hygiene here are much cleaner, and there are no strange smells. Plus, the front desk lady was very helpful and accommodating; we arrived quite late at night, and she was still very attentive and responsible.

This was my first time staying in a deluxe sea view king room at Rongcheng Nishi Haitai, and I was absolutely thrilled with the experience! Stepping onto the balcony, you're greeted by the stunning blue ocean – a panorama of sky blue and sea blue that really amplifies the sense of vastness. The room was spacious and clean, the king-size bed was just the right firmness, and the hygiene was meticulously done. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and the hotel facilities were comprehensive, with a private beach right outside. It’s a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The forest scenery is incredibly healing, and it offers great value for money. I decisively extended my stay!

This hotel was recommended to my friend and booked. I only want to talk about one question this time: my friend is visiting the beach and wants to have lunch nearby before returning to the hotel to check out. After consultation with our hotel, we want to extend the stay for 2 hours (for free), even 1 hour is fine, because the friend returns to the hotel after dinner Checking out is convenient and saves time. The hotel declined (late check-out) and said it was not allowed according to hotel regulations. Normally, check-out is at 12 o'clock. My friend had to rush back and check out first, and then rush to the beach (to have dinner). If you can't even meet the basic requirements of guests (many hotels in the industry have delayed check-out until 2 pm or even 3 pm), why should you open a hotel? At the same time, after several days of observation, the hotel occupancy rate is not too high. These are not issues of the quality of front desk staff, but management issues that should be reflected on. (no pictures)
