"Choosing this boutique hotel right after arriving in Athens was such a pleasant surprise. The building itself is a work of art – a 19th-century neoclassical exterior with stone wall arches. As soon as you step into the lobby, you can feel the rich history, yet it still exudes a youthful vibrancy, with neon signs and colorful art installations on the walls giving it a trendy vibe. What truly impressed me was the location. Just a few steps out the door, and you're at Monastiraki Square and the metro station. It's incredibly convenient for visiting the Acropolis and the Plaka old town. In the evening, you can head up to the rooftop bar, sip a drink, and enjoy the illuminated Acropolis – it's incredibly romantic. The room wasn't luxurious, but it was clean, tidy, and had excellent soundproofing, ensuring a very restful sleep. The front desk attendant was particularly warm and helpful, recommending several authentic and delicious local restaurants. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations. It offers great value for money and is perfect for travelers who appreciate an artistic atmosphere and a convenient location. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Athens!"

Definitely recommend this hotel. I've never written a review before. Welcoming from the moment you step into the hotel. Staff are extremely helpful and carry a warm smile. Restaurant staff go out of their way to meet your requirements. And they even allow you to store your luggage if your flight is later then your check out. Not only they allow you to all that, but go as far as allowing you to use the pool area..the swimming pool shower. One of the best experiences I've had staying in a hotel. Top. 💯

Only enough domestic fast hotel standards, facilities are old, the room tastes heavy. I am because the customer is convenient in this neighborhood, because the prepaid can't be refunded and barely stayed for two nights.

The hotel is located in a quiet and beautiful area although somewhat far from Athens, the Acropolis (40 minutes by bus and metro). The hotel looks renovated and very nice, the staff is super friendly and willing to help you with everything, they speak several languages so surely a person at the reception speaks your language and it will be easier for you to understand them. The only drawback is that the avenue that runs right next to the hotel is very wide and at night you can hear the noise of motorcycles passing by at high speed. The insulation of the windows could be improved although we were able to rest perfectly.

Let me talk about the good place first: more cost-effective. Various facilities are relatively complete, such as beach loungers, rooftops, small swimming pools and so on. Hotel location is also very good. A small, large-scale commercial block is within walking distance of the hotel, where you can find hair salons, restaurants, cafes, bars, supermarkets, etc. Besides the bad place: the room is not big, especially the bathroom looks cramped. The sea view room is very beautiful, but you have to endure traffic noise.

Вид, конечно, шикарный, тут никаких вопросов. Очень красиво, вечером шумновато, но если закрыть окно, вполне можно спать. Остановка напротив, можно уехать центр и до метро. Из минусов шторы порванные , в туалете починить раковину. Очень дружелюбный персонал, наш самолет опоздал добрались поздно, нас встретили заселили. Комната не большая. Очень понравилось, спасибо.

Call the front desk in advance and make your own order: coffee☕️+bread+fruit+cheese, no salad in the morning. The hotel is located directly on the coastal road in Alimos, with beautiful views of the sea. Although a very busy street separates the hotel from the beach, the good connection to public transport made it easy to reach both the centre of Athens and the nearby surroundings. The room was clean and well equipped, with a small balcony from which I could enjoy the sunset over the sea. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out went smoothly. The breakfast buffet was varied. The Tropical Hotel is a good choice for travelers who are looking for a accommodation near the sea with good transport connections.
