"Very good location, close to everything, only 200 metres to Metro, good for family very roomy and cozy can accommodate up to 4 people with kitchen facilities including cooktop, toaster and microwave etc.
the drawback is the shower screen in two panels and can’t close properly so the water will come out though making complaint to reception but can’t do anything due to design defects. However they did change the room for my friends who made a serious complaint with the one panel glass door shower."

Great
GGuest UserThis was a great stay for us and our family. The hotel is conveniently located near many popular sights and eateries in Athens and most were within a 10-20 minute walk. The nearby Monastiraki metro station made it easy to get to and from the airport as well.
The rooms are nicely appointed with a couple of chairs, work station, coffee/tea station, closet, mini fridge and TV. The beds were small but comfy enough. Our family had a 2 and 3 bed rooms and we found the 2 bed room was a lot more spacious. The bathrooms in both were small but we appreciated that the hot water came on quickly and there was a small window for ventilation. Our room was quiet at night but our family noted street noise on the lower floors. The elevators were often tricky to catch as they are small but we appreciated it when we didn't feel like the climb to the sixth floor.
The amenities at the hotel were good for the price. The roof top patio and bar area was a highlight and we enjoyed a couple of afternoons up here watching the sun set and the lights turn on at the Acropolis. The prices of the bar were inexpensive and they had a good variety of options. There was a sitting room that had tea and coffee midday and they kept it open in the evening so we were able to sit together and talk. They had laundry service, baggage storage and could help arrange tours or car hires as well at the front desk with their friendly and welcoming staff.
The breakfast at this hotel was very good for the price. They had something for everyone and lots of place to sit. Highlights for us were the Greek yoghurt and the spinach and feta stuffed pastries. They also had mini sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, feta cheese, cucumber, tomatoes, breads, baklava, croissants, dried fruits, fresh fruits, juices and a coffee machine. We looked forward to breakfast each morning.
The hotel provided a good base for exploring and was centrally located. We would say if you're looking to save money and have a good breakfast to start your day in Athens this hotel is a good choice.

Great
GGuest UserDouble standard room is a basement that smells of sewage. Definately not a garden its a tiny corner wth 2 chairs and some plants! Take Care! 😡😡
When we we went to their titchy reception he said he cannot do anything and we need to call reservation office! So we were trying to get a hold of them and called 6 times. Nobody answererd! We were willing to pay to be moved to a normal room they called back about 3 - 4 hours later saying they would see what they can do. Surprisingly within the same call they changed what they had initially said and said they can’t. The room was horrible and definately not 30 m2. At most 18-20m2. The room is clean but thats about it, all in all a TERRIBLE experience!!
GGuest UserLoft room 602 is a near perfect space. Kitchenette is complete with a dishwasher and everything you need for a kitchenette. The living room is comfortable. The bathroom is not ensuite, if that matters to you. The bedroom has a small wardrobe but with neither hanging space nor hangers. There are 2 balconies, one smaller one by the bedroom and a full length apartment access balcony on the other that gives you a great view and has a retractable awning. All guests have access to the roof top viewing deck, one floor above the highest room floor (6th floor) accessible via stairs with sweeping views of the Acropolis and other vistas.
The location is an artistic and local one. We understood that the noise from the ground level cafe/bar/traffic may be an issue but we had no issues on this floor. It's quiet.
We loved this area, there's a unique charm to it that's rather bohemian. We loved it so much that we extended our stay.
Everything else you may need, a concierge service is contactable via WhatsApp, they don't do calls very well. Response time is quick in the daytime.
Special needs accessibility may be an issue at the main door of the apartment complex has a step with no ramp and the same for the stairs-only roof top deck.
MmkatWe had a bit of difficulty locating the hotel as there was no signboard. However, we were delighted to find it right in the centre of the shops. (For those who are new, it’s right next to the money changer). (See photo. It’s the black gate.)
The hotel is located just steps away from the metro station escalator, the Acropolis museum and the Acropolis as well! We stayed comfortably as there were 2 bedrooms with double beds. It actually fits 6 but we were only 4. There’s a small kitchen equipped with microwave, fridge, cuttlery & utensils and a small bathroom,
We loved the gyros and souvlaki from the shop downstairs .
We enjoyed walking to the neighbouring flea market as well and renting the scooter for faster transport.
We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Acropolis Heart. For those who are fortunate enough to get available rooms, it is highly recommended 👍👍

Very Good
GGuest UserHotel is located in a good area, but with no elevator and many tight stairs case to climb there are no amenities at this hotel the bar and the rooftop was closed. room installations are no good. You can hear the alarm going out and people taking shower from the next room. There is no restaurant, they offer breakfast but you have to eat it at your room with limited menu. The front desk is closed from 11 PM to 7 AM. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Will not stay at this hotel in the future not valued for the money.
GGuest UserDefinitely recommend this hotel.
I've never written a review before.
Welcoming from the moment you step into the hotel.
Staff are extremely helpful and carry a warm smile.
Restaurant staff go out of their way to meet your requirements.
And they even allow you to store your luggage if your flight is later then your check out.
Not only they allow you to all that, but go as far as allowing you to use the pool area..the swimming pool shower.
One of the best experiences I've had staying in a hotel.
Top. 💯
Yyp1017The room is large and quiet. The service is very good and luggage can be stored for free. The biggest highlight is that you can see the Acropolis and the whole view of Athens from the 7th floor of the hotel. It is so shocking and so cool…

Very Good
RruelleBecause I was on a business trip, I chose a hotel far from the city. But the weather in Athens was good. The hotel looked great. It was close to a commercial area. The surrounding restaurants were also good. But there was a bad smell outside the hotel.
MMatinaThe hotel is located directly on the coastal road in Alimos, with beautiful views of the sea. Although a very busy street separates the hotel from the beach, the good connection to public transport made it easy to reach both the centre of Athens and the nearby surroundings.
The room was clean and well equipped, with a small balcony from which I could enjoy the sunset over the sea.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out went smoothly.
The breakfast buffet was varied.
The Tropical Hotel is a good choice for travelers who are looking for a accommodation near the sea with good transport connections.
