Формально есть выход на пляж от бассейна, но он очень крутой и в жару подняться от моря это занятие только для подготовленных физически людей. И он дикий. На морской пляж нужно ездить на машине 5 минут Maya Beach, парковка+два лежака+зонт 35 евро в день. Полотенца свои. Завтрак вкусный, но все 4 дня был одинаковый. Сам отель чистый и уютный. Далеко от цивилизации , стоит один на горе. Есть много мест для парковки. Есть платный трансфер в Таормину. Ужин за 35 евро нормальный, но без восторга. Вечером есть шоу программа."

WWatermel0n2c1The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, with beautiful scenery along the way. Since it is off-season, you don't need to worry about ZTL if you drive there in February, but the hotel villas and pool restaurant areas will not be open until March or April. The hotel apartment area is a separate building not far from the villa. Although it is an apartment, it is the most beautiful room I have stayed in Sicily. Extra large space, a big bed facing the sea, a balcony with sea views and Mount Etna at the same time, waking up from the bed every day will have the best mood. The hotel staff is very friendly and enthusiastic, providing butler-style service, helping us move the car, check in, carry luggage, and take the initiative to introduce hotel facilities and surrounding attractions. The pink sunset in Taormina is the best welcome gift for this trip.

GGuest UserThe room has an unbeatable sea view, facing the sea with flowers blooming in spring, and you can also see the misty Mount Etna in the distance. The hotel is halfway up the mountain. It is a bit expensive to take a taxi from the train station to the mountain for 25 euros. Young people without large luggage can try hiking or taking the bus. The uncle at the front desk is very friendly. The sleeping bag left in the room by my companion was immediately delivered. I stayed for two nights. It is suitable for a daze vacation

AAntonioOverlooking the Ionian Sea, the Grand Hotel San Pietro is a beautiful hotel with landscaped gardens and excellent amenities. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful and the rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. Located within a 10-15 minute walk of the shopping and sightseeing area of Taormina, makes this 5 Star hotel an excellent choice. The staff, as mentioned, are very courteous and helpful - and it is quite easy to become friends with them. Infact, Christian and Loretta (who work in the bar area during the evenings) are 2 staff members that I highly commend - not only for their service but for the exceptional time we spent with them. This hotel is highly recommended and I certainly look forward to returning in the not too distant future.

NNickiR82We just had the most wonderful stay at La Plage. We arrived and were seen immediately and offered a drink whilst we checked in. We were then given a tour of the hotel and some information on the local area. We were shown to our room which was a sea front bungalow with a hot tub. Just gorgeous! We had the most beautiful view of Isola Bella. The next morning we were awake before the birds for an excursion to Etna (for my birthday), before we left someone appeared at the door with a birthday cake and a candle. A really lovely touch. Upon our return the ladies who cleaned the rooms stopped by whilst I enjoyed a glass of wine in the hot tub to say hello and sang me happy birthday too! The service was impeccable from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff are AMAZING and so attentive. The food is delicious. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this hotel and the people who work there. Thank you everyone in La Plage for making our stay so perfect. We can’t wait to come back

CChristina PabloWe had a last minute change with my husband and my father (52, and 83) to Taormina and so it was a challenge with very little prep time where to stay in a vertical place with my elderly father who is in good shape but challenged by long walks, inclines and extreme heat. We did it all-- close to the bus station (4 minutes), Corso Umberto (8 minutes), the Antico Teatrico and the view cannot be beat. There's souvenir shops and a mini mart within 4 minutes walk and the cable car is also only 5 minutes away. My husband and I enjoyed the pool and the views. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast the next morning before leaving. No one could be more helpful or nicer in this hotel. CONS: It's a steep driveway to climb up and down for the elderly. Watching my dad in either direction was a little dicey and with his blood thinners I did not want him to take a spill. PROS: Everything else.

Jjanny yanThe hotel is in a great location. It's perched on a cliff, facing the sea and Mount Etna 🌋, and has a pool. It's also within walking distance of town. Parking can be a bit challenging, but experienced drivers shouldn't have any problem. It's perfect for a vacation. We loved it the moment we arrived 😘 and immediately booked an extra night. We still felt it wasn't enough. We'll definitely stay in Taormina and stay at this hotel for a while on our next trip to Sicily.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is in a good location, the overall room size is reasonable, tidy, the breakfast is also good, , but the price is not very attractive. The hotel staff was not very polite. We were in a hurry when checking out, but the staff preferred to continue chatting with other customers rather than taking our check-out key. It was not until I expressed many times that I really had to catch the bus that the staff reluctantly took my key.

GGuest UserОтель не 4 звезды. Когда открывался, может и были эти звезды для 90х годов, но с тех пор ремонт не делался, судя по всему. Место распоряжение не самое удачное - до Изолы Беллы 15 мин пешком по обочине дороги, до фуникулера - 10 мин. Если выходить из отеля налево, то можно дойти до песчаного пляжа, там народа в разы меньше! Так же есть лестница в город, на такая обхоженная, как от Изолы Беллы, но зато рядом. Завтраки скудные - для 4* совсем скромно. Обслуживание отличное, все довольны, все улыбаются. Кто на машине - с парковкой беда, у отеля 5 машиномест, на дороге на припарковаться. Если повезёт с номером, то шикарный вид на море! У нас был Делюкс, 3ий этаж, тут же выход к бассейну, очень удобно. Сам бассейн небольшой. Кстати, отель находится в тени после 12 дня, соответственно, у бассейна не позагорать. По цене был выигрышнее, но стоит ли того, неуверен.
