Hotel Exe Plaza is a decent choice for a Madrid stay, conveniently situated about 20–30 minutes from the city center and Atocha Station. The hotel’m is sitting literally on top of a subway station and bus terminal, with quick dining options like McDonald’s, Taco Bell, and Popeyes nearby. We were grateful they allowed us to check in early, and the breakfast offered a nice variety with hot dishes that rotated every few days. 

The only minor drawback is the lack of a standard supermarket nearby. While there is a Carrefour City in the bus terminal, it tends to be rather expensive. Overall, it is a well-connected and reliable base for exploring the city.

The hotel is overall is absolutely amazing. Staff 10/10, service 10/10. It's just I travelled alone, the room I had was single occupancy, bit overrated and the guest next door was loud. Means I can hear each and every noise from next door. Disturbed my sleep many times can even hear when someone is walking next door. Didn't get much peace in room. Just because the guest next door. Got up every morning with bit of headaches. Buy surroundings are amazing, nice restaurant and shops are really handy. Near the city centre and the easy access for the metro and the way to the airport. Loved everything about Exe Moncloa

The hotel was generally fine but had some issues. The parking lot behind the hotel is difficult to access; you park there, ring the bell, and enter, but you can't get out and have to walk all the way around. The shower gel ran out in our room (they should replenish it before each guest). I told the cleaning lady, and she said if we returned to the room, it would be empty. There were three of us in the room, and there was only a double pillow for two. The first day there was an ice pack for all three of us, but the second day they only replenished one for two. These are unacceptable shortcomings for a four-star hotel.

Very nice hotel! Super friendly, customer-friendly and helpful staff at the reception. Nice room with good bed. And, very important to me, very quiet: no noise pollution from outside or from the other rooms! Also great: no music anywhere, not at the reception and not in the breakfast room. 
A bit far from the city, but bus 161 stops in front of the door (buy a public transport card from a machine in a station and load 10 journeys on it. NB in ​​Madrid you do not pay per distance/time, but per journey and transfers are often necessary). 
A few points for improvement: 
- the restaurant turned out not to be open for lunch and dinner in the winter season, which was not mentioned when buying a room. Not neat. Room service with very limited and quite expensive options. Disappointing. 
- the fruit at breakfast was not ripe so not edible. 
- the older receptionist at check-out was rude. Answered a phone call and while talking to the other person he arranged my business. He said nothing to me. A letdown because the real receptionists were so friendly and polite.
All in all a hotel I will definitely return to: very customer friendly and quiet!

The hotel is in a great location, a 5-minute walk from Gran Via. Just above there are two supermarkets (oriental in style) that are easily accessible if you need anything. Several restaurants are also within walking distance, as well as several ”otaku” shops, if you're a fan like me.
The room is a good size, with a fridge and induction stove. You can request an electric kettle, which the staff will kindly provide. I stayed on the fifth floor and didn't hear any noise at night despite its proximity to the city center. The hallway/room soundproofing isn't the best, but it's still adequate.
I had a great time, and I thank the staff and the hotel.

We had trouble accessing the internet on arrival and it took quuite awhile for their tech support to correct.  We weren't alone but eventually we got access.
Coffee in the room is a challenge as only one day during our 5 night stay did we get regular coffee to brew in the room.  The other days it was Nescafe decaf instant.  The staff were very accommodating, the room was clean,  and the pool was a welcome oasis after walking around all day.

Overall the hotel was good.
The room was clean and organized, neat, no issues. Shower was nice and hot, comfy bed and a safe, all good. No minibar or fridge however, which is maybe a bit underwhelming for a 4 star hotel but it was fine for me.

Location was good, reasonably close to the city centre and with several public transport options nearby. (Though I found the public transport quite confusing in Mexico City)

My only issue was that I originally booked through another agent and when I arrived the hotel informed me that the booking had been cancelled on the same day I booked it, and they wouldn't offer me the room or price match to the original booking, so booking the second time was about 8 euro more expensive, not a lot, but irritating. However I contacted my other agency and the informed me that it was due to a failure for the confirmation going through on their end, so not the hotel's fault.

The hotel is in a very good location, and the Independence Column is just a few steps away. However, the hotel is very old, and the rooms are very old, almost like those in the 1990s. The breakfast is in cooperation with the restaurant downstairs, which is a very distinctive Mexican restaurant. However, there is a main road downstairs, and the noise is a bit loud. The air conditioning is centrally controlled and cannot be controlled in the room. However, the room is large, with a separate kitchen, microwave and refrigerator, but it cannot be turned on. The price-performance ratio is OK. It is not recommended for travel and vacation

The room is big and the inside is okay, but the bed sheets are a bit old, and the rest are gone. I didn't eat breakfast. I don't know what to do. I left in a hurry.

This hotel is really great! The location is super convenient, with lots of food options downstairs. It's also very close to the airport shuttle stop. The room itself was pretty good, though the soundproofing in the morning could be better. Other than that, everything was excellent!

The staff were excellent, and I was very satisfied. The subway station is also very close, and I'll definitely recommend this place to more friends. It's super convenient for getting to the city center, and there are lots of great food options nearby.

Отель на Рамбле, рядом с рынком Бокерия. Номер дали с видом на Рамблу, но сейчас она перекрыта частями, ремонтируют и меняют брусчатку. Номера уютные, но слышно метро и шум центральной улицы. Нам было нормально,  но кому-то будет не очень. В номере есть мини-холодильник, фен, но нет чайника. Кровать и подушки -удобные, белье - белоснежное.
Рядом станция метро и пешком до площади Каталонии.
