Current situation as of September 2026:

My stay was from September 17th to September 27th (11 nights). This isn't my first visit to this hostel. I've stayed here before, even when the 6th floor with the terrace was open. Spoiler alert – it's closed now. Read on.

Prices:
1. Lock for your locker – 200 Lira
2. Laundry – 400 Lira (includes detergent, wash, and dry. You do everything yourself. Washing takes about 1 hour, drying takes about the same. The reception staff can give you details. Don't be shy to ask for help, but be polite. The staff are lovely and will happily help you with a smile – if you're friendly too! Remember – treat people how you want to be treated!)
3. Surprisingly, as is common in many hostels these days, towels also cost money. But they are of very good quality. Feel free to rent them, they are very clean here!

About the rooms and the hostel itself:

+ The balcony in the room doesn't open fully, only for ventilation. As a non-smoker, this makes me happy; otherwise, the room would reek of smoke. Thank you for closing this option for smokers; let them smoke outside.

+ Two shelves and two outlets in your sleeping area.

+ Soft bedding and pillow. It feels like I'm in at least a 4-star hotel; that's how good the mattress quality is! And that's an important point in my opinion!

+ Easy and quick check-in, easy to find the entrance, elevator available, and a place for a quick snack.

+ Each floor has 3 toilets and 3 showers.
Two small ones and one large one. There was a small queue for the large one in the evenings, but it's understandable – it's much more spacious compared to the other two. The hairdryer works perfectly! In my opinion, you don't need to bring your own.

Points that could be improved (I'm writing this solely with the wish to enhance guests' stays, and perhaps they'll listen to me. Wishing this place prosperity!):

- Not all lockers in the room can be locked. Not all door handles work. These need to be fixed.
- The entrance door to room 41 is broken; it opens, but there are issues with the handle. It would be great if this could be fixed.

These are probably all the cons for me; otherwise, my trip and stay here were perfect! Special shout-out to the cleaning staff; the floors were mopped daily, and trash was also removed from the room every day! The ladies are excellent! Wishing them easy work!

On the ground floor, there's a luggage storage with a code lock. Typically, everyone just leaves their things there without entering a code... nobody touched anything during my 10-day stay. All guests are decent!

For those who need to use the hostel as a workspace – please note that the 6th floor with the terrace has been closed for several months.
If breakfast is included in your booking, it will be at the cafe across the street! The cafe is quite good. I had breakfast there once.

We stayed in room #6 on the 2nd floor and absolutely loved it. The street has a great vibe, and so does the hotel. The rooms have high ceilings, giving a real sense of spaciousness. We'll always remember our breakfasts on the balcony with views of the Galata Tower. The staff were very pleasant. The beds were excellent, the linens superb, and the bathroom floor was made of beautiful Turkish marble. Everything was thoughtfully designed. Yes, some things need a little fixing, but those are minor details.

A fully equipped kitchen was a big plus for us, as we were tired of unfamiliar Turkish food during our trip. It had a great fridge, a dishwasher, an ironing board with an iron, and a drying rack. There was even a little bit of laundry detergent, so we didn't have to buy a whole pack. There are so many positives. We felt right at home here.

True, Saturday night was really noisy outside, but I actually found it interesting – it was a chance to see and hear how young Istanbul residents spend their weekends, which added to the experience.

I'll be recommending this place to my friends, and if I return to Istanbul, it will definitely be here.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Amazing stay! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The swimming pool was relaxing, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful. Everything exceeded my expectations. I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. Looking forward to staying here again!

Check-in was a breeze, and I found the hotel to be very conveniently located near public transportation. Overall, the atmosphere was quite pleasant, and the other guests were very respectful. Both the facilities and amenities were pretty satisfying. If you're a solo traveler looking for a happy and comfortable stay, this place is a great option.
