Location is 15 mins to Shinjuku station but along the way quite a lots to see. I’m enjoy the price offered for this location and distance.

Laundry a bit expensive with 600 yen for 1kg. The location is next to night clubs too (you can choose to walk to Shinjuku station with other street) and worst is the hotel signboard is not obvious as it is small and in front of the hotel,
, comparing to others to put up big and tall at the junction. You will easily miss it as I have walked back 3 times and finally found it by looking for white building

We were traveling independently with a JR Pass. After arriving in Tokyo, we took two extra stops and found this hotel. The room was much larger than hotels in central Tokyo, and the breakfast was good, all for half the price. It offered excellent value for money. You don't even need to think about the cleanliness of Japanese hotels; they're all consistently spotless. Every morning we'd take the train out, come back after exploring in the afternoon, and then head out again in the evening. There are so many train connections, linking to all sorts of subway lines.

Great location, very convenient with plenty of food options nearby. I booked a smoking room, which was quite spacious. It's super easy to get around from here, especially for exploring Shibuya and Harajuku. Many of the restaurants nearby require reservations though! The room itself was large by Japanese standards. My only minor concern was that the elevator doesn't require a key card, which made me feel the security was a bit lower. Overall, my stay was pretty good!

The hotel's location is excellent, just around the corner from Ginza's brand-name shopping streets, making it super convenient for shopping. The room itself was just okay; at 28㎡, the space wasn't utilized well, making it feel a bit cramped. Right across the street there's a sushi restaurant where I ate lunch all three days. Be warned though, there's always a long line, so I recommend getting a number or making a reservation 30 minutes in advance. There are also many other well-known restaurants nearby, offering plenty of dining options. The hotel has a bar on the first basement level. Ladies get free entry from Monday to Thursday, but it gets very crowded on weekends with queues and limited entry.

Very good location, close to the station and with plenty of restaurants nearby. The staff were really kind and helpful throughout our stay.

The hotel itself is quite simple, but comfortable and has everything you need. If your plan is to spend most of the day exploring Tokyo and mainly use the hotel to rest and sleep, it’s a perfect fit. The price is reasonable for the location, and breakfast is also included in the morning.

Overall, we had a very good stay and would definitely recommend it!

These guys are amazing! I lost my bag on a speed train from osaka to tokyo at around 2am upon arriving. I Realised immediately and without hesitation they were able to reach out to lost property and ressure me it would be found and true to their word I got a call from front desk before 9am telling me it was fine. They helped me so much checking me in and everything and sorting that out and we're so attentive. The rooms are so clean and such great value for money! I 100% would come here again and it's so well connected and very easy to get to places like shibuya without the crazy influx of people 24/7 too! Absolutely impressed with my stay!

We visited as a family of four (two adults and two children) for two nights and truly appreciated several aspects of our time here:
Spacious & Spotless Room:
The accommodations were exceptionally clean and spacious, offering lovely surrounding views.
Comfortable Bedding:
Both the bed and pillows were remarkably comfortable, making for a restful sleep.
Thoughtful Amenities:
Having all necessary toiletries fully prepared and ready upon arrival was greatly appreciated.

Few areas of concern to your attention so they may be addressed for future guests:
Breakfast Queue:
The waiting times and long queues for the morning breakfast buffet were quite significant.
Onsen Water Supply Interruption:
On our second night, the water supply in the onsen area was suddenly suspended while guests were actively showering. This was particularly inconvenient for those left with shampoo and soap to rinse, and unfortunately, it prevented us from enjoying the onsen on our final morning.
 Ice Cream Machine Malfunction:
The ice cream machine served liquid instead of proper soft-serve during our visit. We do, however, appreciate how promptly the team responded and fixed the issue once informed.

The hotel is super close to Tanukikoji, which is really lively, so even at 10 PM, you can easily find a restaurant. They are very strict about check-in at 3 PM; they won't let you check in even a minute early, which is quite different from other countries. The room was miniature.

My stay at Jozankei View Hotel was fantastic. The hotel has a very tranquil atmosphere, perfect for a hot spring resort. The dinner quality was a pleasant surprise; the sashimi and sweet shrimp were incredibly fresh, and the beef was delicious. For breakfast, the seafood donburi was also amazing and very satisfying. The onsen facilities were spacious and comfortable, making for a truly relaxing soak. Overall, the service, food, and environment were excellent. It was a very satisfying hot spring hotel experience and definitely worth recommending.

I stayed here for four nights during the Snow Festival.
The location is near the main street of Susukino and very convenient.
However, I found the hotel's operations lacking, as the reception was often unattended in the mornings.
The twin room was quite cramped for two people, making it difficult to pack and unpack.
With only three laundry machines (one of which was broken), the facilities felt insufficient for the size of the hotel.
While the breakfast had a good variety and didn't get boring, don't set your expectations too high for the 'signature' seafood bowls

We wanted a hotel in Gion with a public bath/onsen and Kyoto Granbell fit the bill. Originally we booked a moderate twin 18m2 but I was worried it would be too small so we upgraded to the Japanese twin 22sq meters and it was exactly what we wanted. The room was spacious and felt very comfortable. We had enough room to spread out and it feel like we were on top of each other. The lobby area is great with free coffee and snacks & wifi. We didn’t do breakfast but it looked good. I used the onsen every day and it was great! Fully stocked with shampoo, lotion, q tips, cotton pads, water station. Small but functions and very beautiful. The location was the best! Two doors down from En en for great Gyoza, 5 min walk to Hiniku to come, around the block from Pizza Stada, and a couple blocks from the bus station & the Main Street in Gion. Staff were lovely & spoke pretty good English. Comparable to Coutryard Marriott. Highly recommend. Would stay again.

From December 6th to 9th, my family and I visited this hotel. We booked two rooms, a triple room and a double room. The rooms were spacious, and the bathrooms were clean. Housekeeping left refreshments at the door daily. The location is convenient; a 7-Eleven is a 2-minute walk away, and a subway station (Shimizu Gojo Station) is a 5-minute walk away. The staff were friendly, and at the check-in counter, there were toiletries such as lotion, hair conditioner, toothbrushes, combs, razors, and face masks available for guests. Overall, it was great value for money!

The room is clean. It is near a residential area. In front of it is Higashi Honganji Temple. Further ahead is Kyoto JR. The subway station is right next to it. The transportation location is good. FamilyMart is just across the road. The facilities are basic, but it is really clean.
