I stayed for three days, and this hotel truly exceeded my expectations! The location is fantastic; right outside, you'll find a subway station and a bustling shopping area, yet the room itself was surprisingly quiet. The bedding was incredibly soft, like sleeping on a cloud, and I woke up feeling refreshed every morning. The 'red uniform team' (staff) provided exceptional service – they proactively asked about my preferred pillow type and even hand-drew a map of local eateries. The freshly prepared noodle station at breakfast was my favorite; the chef remembered I don't like cilantro! The room was spotless, and every evening I returned to find a handwritten goodnight card and a wellness tea. The attention to detail truly showed how much they care. I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit!

I come to Sunrise Oriental every year, and the facilities are always great, especially the pool. After swimming, we can relax in the warm water of the kids' pool, which keeps the children happy and is great for adults to unwind too. The service is excellent. Taking a walk by the lake is enjoyable, whether in the morning or evening. Breakfast is also on point. This was my first time staying in a twin room, and the beds were a bit small and soft. The lake view from the room's window was also nice.

The hotel boasts a wonderful environment. To enter the hotel's designated area, you need to provide reservation information (either a confirmed hotel booking or a dining reservation). Once checked in, you can inform the front desk beforehand if you plan to exit and re-enter. Otherwise, you'll need to present your reservation details every time you pass through the main gate of this resort zone (situated between the hotel and the city roads).

We visited on a weekday, so it wasn't too busy. The staff at check-in kindly upgraded our room to a family room in the main building. The upgraded room matched the photos from our original booking perfectly.

The swimming pool is a 25-meter pool with depths ranging from 1.2 to 1.6 meters. Being a weekday, there weren't many children around. During our visits, it was typically occupied by only four or five adults, mostly serious lap swimmers.

The breakfast selection wasn't overly extensive. There might be more variety on weekends when it's busier, but all the basic options were available and sufficient. Booking a room package with breakfast included is definitely more cost-effective, as paying for breakfast separately proved quite expensive.

Great experience. Service was perfect. Yanqi Lake Boutique Hotels, managed by Kempinski are impeccable. My family stayed two nights. I've booked two rooms. One single bed and one twin beds room. Rooms were modern, clean and spacious. Clean sheets and comfortable beds. I was surprised how big and clean rooms where. Toilets were clean and specious. What you see on the pictures is what you get. More than I’ve expected. Food was perfect.  We had buffet breakfast and we could choose between western food and Chinese food. For diner we eat at the restaurant and the food we ordered was delicious. Lots of things to do around. You can visit Hongluo Temple, Mutianyu Great Wall or you can walk around hotel area and see the Yanqi Pagoda or visit International Conference Center (APEC and Belt and Road Initiative conferences were held there, and it was nice experience to visit the place where most powerful leaders in the world seated and planed the future of the world). All in all, great experience. Special thanks to Shirley Le, duty manager and to June Jian for the warm reception and their hospitality. If you want to relax and clear your mind and body I recommend Yanqi Lake Boutique Hotels, managed by Kempinski.

The location and people are perfect. The rooms are nice. The facilities are okay. The reception were cooperating. 
I have some concerns about the brand of the hotel vs. the quality of rooms. 
I have stayed in several Kempinski hotels around the world.  This one is okay but below every other Kempinski hotel I stayed at. Here there are some comments which the hotel manager should look at such as “the shower head is fixed and not adjustable due to applying glue, dental kit is only available upon request .. )

The hotel is excellently located with internal connection to the Dubai Mall. You can also see burj khalifer in front of you at the swimmimg pool. Enjoyed our stay and would book again in the future

We stayed for one night as a group of four and enjoyed close rooms on request the staff was helpful and when we told them we were celebrating my sisters graduation they didn’t hesitate to bring us a complimentary cake. The rooms are clean and the location is perfect it took us 6 minutes from our room to the mall.

Can live for a long time The room is spacious and bright

Staying at the Heye Hotel on a high floor offers a view of the Huangpu River, and they even provided tickets for the Oriental Pearl TV Tower's two spheres. My mom and I had a great time! For this value for money, you won't find anything better in Lujiazui. The bar on the 30th floor also offers a view of the Oriental Pearl Tower – I wish I had known sooner! I'd definitely come back again; I'm very satisfied. Those two tickets for the spheres were such a great deal. The breakfast was good. Each stay includes two tickets to the spheres for sightseeing: perfect!

The location is fantastic, close to Zhang Yuan and the new Louie ship, also the largest Starbucks. You can find both luxury shopping and dining options nearby. The hotel is situated at the back, providing a quieter atmosphere, which I prefer.

However, if you stay on a higher floor, the network connection may not be very stable. If you're not particular about having a view, this is the best location to choose.
