TPoor & Discriminatory Shuttle Service – Avoid Relying on It!
Terrible experience with Meliá Madrid Barajas free shuttle on 11 Feb 2026.
Driver ignored T1 stop outbound (only Spanish announcement), forced us to T4 unnecessarily.
Evening return at T1: Showed room key, bus had plenty empty seats, but driver refused us & told to go T4. Airline crew boarded no problem. Stuck in pouring rain → paid outrageous €22 taxi.
Complained to front desk – no response or apology after weeks.
Website says shuttle stops at T1/T2/T4, but drivers decide otherwise. Felt unwelcome & discriminated against. Extremely disappointing for a 4-star airport hotel. Urge management to fix policies, train staff properly, and respond to complaints.
Do NOT depend on this shuttle!

Me encantó este hotel. The room was modern, spacious and clean. The staff was absolutely nice. Joaquin, Paula, Ruben, and many others were very kind and helpful with our needs. There is a bus (146) that runs every 10 minutes and will pass through many attractions. At first I was concerned about the location of the hotel but it was just great. Great restaurants in a walking distance. I will definitely stay in the Melia AV America again. Thank you for your hospitality.

Rooms are quite small when compared to the price, but staff are super friendly. Breakfast is just definitely not worth the money at all. Hotel is pretty OK all around, food for business trips.

This is a restaurant that I would like to recommend to everyone. The location is good and the service is good. The breakfast is also very varied. I think the most important thing is the cost-effectiveness! Very satisfied with my stay👍

Melia Hotel is divided into Melia Dunas and Sol Dunas, both of which belong to Melia. In the same place, the facilities are shared one after the other, but Sol guests can go to Melia for dining and vice versa. The hotels are all white. There are no descent, it can be said that almost all the hotels in Cape Verde are like this, and most of them are white elderly couples, not many young people, singles are not, and you do n’t need to think about looking for a chance. The room is large and comfortable, the disadvantage is that there are many mosquitoes. After check out, you can still enjoy all the facilities and have a bathroom and a dressing room. One price all-inclusive buffet type is OK, not a lot. The service is very good, you have to answer questions. More recommended hotel near Santa Maria Beach in the south, it's so beautiful!

The hotel is not bad, but hot tea for dinner and dinner can only be taken in a bar, and the buffet on the Swedish table can not be ordered from the waiters. And in general, the diversity of food is not enough, although from what is there - everything is delicious. You walk there around and don't know what to put, that both tasty and useful and not uniform and eventually a semi-empty plate. 

But here is a great beach! Many swimming pools! A great animation! Evening events!

El resort esta bien. No diría que es de 5 estrellas porque las instalaciones están un poco viejas. Pero calidad/precio esta bien

1. The hotel's location is good. I booked a king room with a large terrace. 
2. There was only one small 500ml bottle of complimentary water.
3. Breakfast was 17 euros, quite plentiful, and tasted good.
4. There were tissues and hand towels, but no bath towels. This hotel still doesn't provide amenities like disposable toothbrushes or slippers. There are wall-mounted toiletries.

Stayed one night in Seville for a trip. This place is super popular and gets really busy! They offer complimentary lemon water at the entrance, but it often runs out quickly. It's close to the high-speed rail station, which is convenient for dropping off luggage. You also get two complimentary bottles of water when you check in.
