Although the hotel is a bit far from the city center, its prime location by the Huangpu River with stunning views of Yangpu Bridge more than makes up for it. The night views are absolutely breathtaking and definitely worth staying a night for. It's also excellent value for money! The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. The same lovely lady with glasses handled both my check-in and check-out, always greeting me with a smile and sending me off with one too. Highly recommend!

The room was spotless and well-maintained, with a cozy atmosphere. We had a distant view of the Huangpu River from our window. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Since we were there for Christmas, the lobby was beautifully decorated with a festive Christmas vibe, providing a warm and comfortable sanctuary from the chilly weather outside. The location is excellent, with convenient transportation, making it a top choice for travelers!

This was the worst check-in experience I've had across all my stays. Given that the hotel was clearly hosting both art festival personnel and numerous senior tour groups, they should have deployed more front desk staff to handle check-ins from the outset. Initially, only one counter was open. I patiently waited in line, but when another counter became available, there was no staff present to guide guests or ensure check-ins were processed in the correct queue order. This led to some impolite individuals cutting in line (one person even had a stack of ID cards in hand). I continued to wait patiently, and then another service staff member arrived at the front desk, but again, offered no proactive guidance. As a result, those standing closer to this new counter simply cut in to be served. What's more, there were only three guests ahead of me in my original line, yet the check-in process was incredibly slow. Such issues are unacceptable for a five-star hotel, and I am quite disappointed.

During the National Day holiday, our whole family stayed at the Sheraton Jiading Hotel. We booked seven rooms for three consecutive nights, and the hotel upgraded one of them to a suite, which gave our large family some much-needed space to move around. We were all very satisfied. This hotel is very grand and luxurious, and the breakfast spread is fantastic, with a good variety of pastries and a nice noodle station. Dinner is also very convenient, as there's a large shopping mall right next to the hotel with bustling restaurants. All in all, we'll definitely be back if we have the chance.

All in all this hotel is a very good stay, we had a very pleasant time and - if there's another opportunity to be in the surrounding - we will assuredly choose the Sheraton Hotel again! 
When it comes to the location, it is very subjective ... You want to be next to the Golf course, then it is a perfect location, but if you wish to be at a place where food outlets and transportation services are abundant, then no.
If you don't have a car, you are stuck!! ... Chongming has such a potential to make a tramway system such the better choice: cleaner, easier to go from various points throughout the whole island, more convenient and cheaper to build than a subway system ... but no, polluting cars everywhere instead. 
Concerning the service, the hotel staff was nice, polite, and helpful, but it lacked the feeling of being welcomed and appreciating the role they have (which are traits we'd noticed while in smaller hotels like Ibis).
The rooms were clean, comfortable, well lit, and didn't feel much damp (there's a need to switch on the AC at times to dry up the air a bit at times)
We also very much appreciated the swimming pool (clean), the gym (quite a few choices - although some treadmills felt old and out of service: time to remove a few to upgrade or put another piece of equipment instead), and the overall facility.
The breakfast was large in its choice with quite a few dishes made on the spot, which i really appreciated, you can feel the freshness of the food being just made; however, i can't say the same for many other choices which were distinctively regular frozen food, with no typical flavour representing a 5-star hotel such as the Sheraton, there is much improvement to make in that aspect.
Once more, this Sheraton is a safe choice if staying in that part of the island, we had a very pleasant time ... but there are still some areas which need attention in order to make this hotel a definite address to go back to again and again (instead of solely depending on the golf course).

I really should have booked a different hotel. The room was incredibly old and had a strange odor. The walls were dirty, and there was a sealed water dispenser taking up space in a weird way. I don't think I'll be staying here again.

As a multi-generational family traveling with seniors and children, we chose the Sheraton Fengxian Baohua, hoping for a comfortable holiday. The hotel's hardware truly stood out – the spacious and grand public areas, generous room layouts, and excellent location (adjacent to Qingxi Ancient Town and Shanghai Fish) all laid a solid foundation for our trip. However, the 'soft services' during this stay were a major disappointment, starting strong but quickly deteriorating. The management shortcomings exposed during the peak holiday season were particularly regrettable.

**I. Positive Highlights: Robust Hardware, Heartfelt Frontline Service**

1.  **Excellent Hardware Facilities:**
    The hotel's overall decor is modern and elegant. The high-ceiling lobby design feels open and bright, guest rooms are spacious with good soundproofing, and the mattresses offer medium firmness, making them suitable for elderly guests. Its prime location is a significant advantage, with Qingxi Ancient Town within walking distance and attractions like Shanghai Fish and Fengxian Museum all within a 15-minute drive.

2.  **Heartwarming Support from Frontline Staff:**
    Despite frequent issues at the management level, our housekeeper, Auntie Duan Xiubi, was an absolute lifesaver. When we faced the predicament of no spare duvets (the front desk claimed, ”all spare bedding was used up”), she proactively intervened. She not only quickly found pillows and personally put on clean duvet covers but also thoughtfully told us, ”It's busy during the holidays, no need to rush, make sure you get some rest first,” and even wished us to ”have fun.” Her enthusiasm, resourcefulness, and sense of responsibility injected warmth into the stark management shortcomings, becoming the sole 'service highlight' of our stay.

**II. Negative Experience: Disorganized Management, Slow Service Response**

1.  **Chaotic Check-in Process, Excessive Communication Burden:**
    Our group arrived at 11:30 AM to discuss check-in time, clearly stating that ”the whole family would go out for lunch and return around 1:00 PM to check in.” However, upon our punctual return at 1:00 PM, only one of our three booked rooms was ready. Considering the holiday crowd, we proactively suggested, ”we'll gather in one room to rest first,” but this wait stretched to 2.5 hours. It wasn't until 3:30 PM, after multiple calls, that the remaining room cards were delivered by a robot, with no human providing any updates on the progress. The elderly and children grew tired from waiting in the cramped room, and the lobby sofa area was also full, offering no alternative resting spot. The experience was extremely poor.

2.  **Basic Services Missing, Superficial Emergency Handling:**
    Upon checking in, we found no spare duvets in the room. When we called the front desk, the response was, ”There are too many guests during the May Day holiday, all spare bedding has been used up.” Such a shortage of basic guest supplies indicates a serious miscalculation of holiday occupancy by the hotel. It was only after our persistence that Auntie Duan managed to arrange for a blanket (not standard bedding), while the front desk never proactively followed up or apologized.

3.  **Passive Management, Relying on Frontline Staff to ”Firefight”:**
    From check-in delays to supply shortages, the core problem stemmed from management's disorganized coordination: a lack of oversight on cleaning progress, insufficient guest supply reserves, and no emergency mechanisms in place. When faced with guest requests, the front desk merely robotically repeated ”please wait” and offered no solutions (such as prioritizing access to a lounge area or providing complimentary drinks), creating a stark contrast with the proactive efforts of the frontline staff.

**III. Summary and Recommendations**

If rated comprehensively as ”5/5 for hardware, 3/5 for service,” the hotel's solid foundation in hardware is certainly commendable. However, the service details proved to be a significant weakness, especially during peak occupancy, where management flaws directly exacerbated guest inconveniences, making it extremely unfriendly for multi-generational families with elderly and children.

**Suggested Improvements:**

1.  During holidays, optimize cleaning schedules in advance and display real-time room readiness status to minimize guests' unproductive waiting time.
2.  Stock sufficient basic guest supplies (e.g., duvets, cribs) to prevent passive situations where supplies run out.
3.  Management needs to proactively take responsibility for coordination, rather than leaving frontline staff to ”put out fires” alone. Basic compensation solutions (such as late check-out or dining discounts) could be offered to alleviate guest frustration.

Finally, a special thank you to Auntie Duan Xiubi. Her presence made us believe that if the hotel truly prioritizes supporting and training its frontline staff, the service experience would undoubtedly see a qualitative improvement. We hope management will listen to the voices from the ground and not allow heartwarming individual efforts to be undermined by disorganized management.

I had a great time staying at Sheraton Esenyurt and everything is improving comparing to my previous visit

Our stay here was absolutely fantastic! The location is super convenient. Our room was spotless, and the bedding was so soft and comfortable, guaranteeing a great night's sleep. The staff were all really enthusiastic and welcoming. I definitely have to give this hotel a five-star rating!

As soon as I walked into the lobby, I was drawn in by the cozy decor and the lovely scent. The room facilities are very new; we had a smart toilet, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a projector – everything you could ask for, making the experience truly amazing. The breakfast spread was extensive, offering both Chinese and Western options, and all the ingredients were fresh and delicious. The cleaning lady did an incredibly thorough job every day, even getting into all the corners. And the service was outstanding; any request we had was handled promptly. I highly recommend this hotel!

Perhaps this Sheraton use to be good in the past, but now this hotel only pretending to be 5star. Really rooms is fine, but everything needs repair, everywhere is cracks on the walls and dirty corners in the bathroom. Everyday housekeeping should clean better and wear glasses to see dust everywhere. 
One thing is good is clean beddings and comfortable bed so you may enjoy view to pool and sea side, which cost 100$. But is you go around this lovely swimming pool you will see a lot of cigarette ends, dust, rubbish and broken tiles on the floor, which is right time to repair. One more note about restaurant, we try some food like pizza etc., meal is with low quality and then later I got problem with stomach. Thanks Heaven there is nice faces on reception who thy to help me anytime. Big hello to managers of Sheraton who forgot to check rooms of hotel completely, before to sell your room hotel manager shoul know what they sell to clients.

The grand Sheraton staff are friendly, warm and helpful. The house keepers are extremely helpful for keeping the rooms clean and comfortable.

Nice location by the creek, but the room felt dull and outdated. Furniture needs a refresh and layout of some rooms was quite weird (got a room with a super odd layout and had many corners in one room and requested to change it). 

Executive lounge was disappointing - no windows and low energy. Big shoutout to Hsu, who made a real difference with excellent service at the exrufithe lounge. Check-in was smooth. Breakfast was decent, but nothing special. Overall, okay stay, but not quite up to expectations.

Great hotel close to everything!  Beautiful surroundings and a great staff. The only down side was the spartan sports bar on the 5th floor. The service at the sportbar was extremely slow. I wouldn't go to that sports bar again.

We booked a stay at the Sheraton Grand Dubai to celebrate our daughter’s birthday and what a fun and memorable experience it was! We visit Dubai several times a year but had never stayed here before. Our daughter, who lives in Dubai, suggested after she enjoyed a pool day, and it turned out to be a brilliant idea.

The food was really great, the staff were outstanding, and the service throughout was exceptional. The pool area was beautiful and relaxing, everything about the stay was perfect. We couldn’t find a single thing to fault.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally kind and accommodating, making my stay truly enjoyable. From the reception team to those assisting with the elevators, everyone was incredibly helpful. I also had a delightful conversation with the Filipino staff, which added a personal touch to my visit. The breakfast offered was not as extensive as anticipated, but it was still enjoyable and of good quality! And the handcrafted coffee, it was a real treat compared to the usual machine-dispensed options—100/10! While it took a little time for the water to warm up in the bathrooms, the room itself was fantastic—definitely a 10/10. Balconies are locked by default for safety, but you can ask the hotel to make it available for you. Only 4-5 mins walk from Jumeirah Beach Residence 1 tram station. I will highly recommend this hotel to friends and family!

Gym, pool, and sauna are available.

If you want to relax at night, then this is definitely not the place for you! There is a disco on the hotel grounds until 3am. And this is a hotel establishment and they don't want to do anything about it! Every day until 3am bang, bang, bang - it's like being in a club in your room. Horrible!
