Amazing stay! Super near to the train station, and extremely clean. They have a washing machine, microwave, induction cooker, and pots and cutlery provided in the room. The mini fridge is the height of my waist! I also love the vacuum sealing machine in the lobby. Service was amazing: they did an extensive check for me when I asked if I could watch TVer on their tv. I was sad to leav

The room was very clean and spacious, equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, and a washer/dryer – truly fully stocked. The staff were very friendly. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the Shinjuku shopping district with many convenience stores nearby, making it very convenient.

Facilities included in the package were good, laundry, microwave, cooking equipments were all included with free coffee and free snacks as well. Had the chance to join Omikoshi event together with other travellers and hotel staff, best experience ever, Hotel staff even brought us lots of free gifts, free foods, free beers, and free tour to the shrine and the famous “Kimi No Nawa” Stairs

I was on a business trip, and my company is in Toranomon, so I booked this hotel because it's within walking distance. It's conveniently located, just a short walk from the subway station. There are plenty of food and drink options nearby. The front desk had a Chinese-speaking staff member who was very warm and considerate, which added a lot of comfort to my tight schedule. Although the room wasn't huge, I was pleasantly surprised to find a microwave and a washing machine. I paid extra for breakfast but didn't get to eat it due to my packed schedule. I feel like I'd want to book this place again even if I'm traveling for leisure next time!

The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic. It is only about a 3-minute walk from Exit A8 of Higashi-Ginza station. Within a 3-minute radius, there are two convenience stores and a Yoshinoya, all open 24 hours a day. Most of the shopping malls in Ginza are also within an easy 5 to 10-minute walking distance.
The hotel provides an excellent range of complimentary amenities in the lobby. You can pick up combs, shower caps, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and a full set of skincare products (make-up remover, facial cleanser, toner, and moisturiser). They also thoughtfully provide a luggage scale, free umbrellas, and complimentary coffee for guests.
My room was equipped with a washing machine and laundry detergent, as well as a fridge and a microwave, which was incredibly convenient. Being able to put a wash on after returning to the hotel on a summer night and having the clothes dry by the next morning was brilliant.
I highly recommend this hotel. Despite being in such a convenient location, it was also exceptionally quiet!

This hotel has fantastic amenities. And complimentary daily drinks and snacks in the lounge next door including delicious Matcha. The location is great as it is eaay to hop on the train to most iconic spots. Its a quiet area but has a family mart and 7 eleven within 2 mins either side.

So remember this is Tokyo and room ate notoriously small. But this room despite not being the exception it does contain a washing machine and dryer and a microwave. Brilliant and saved us a fortune.

The only thing that I did not love was there was no daily housekeeping and we had the same towels for 3 days and the lights and walls were dusty. The bed is very small.

My husband us 6ft 7 and was too big but we made it work.

Overall great hotel in a good location with brilliant extras.
Walkable to Omoto Sando and Meiji Shrine, Harajuku and Shibuya if you want to walk. But train is few minutes.

From the 8th floor, you can see the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building right outside the window. There are various restaurants nearby to suit different preferences and budgets. It's also very close to Nishi-Shinjuku subway station, making it convenient for getting around.

The location is the best! Easy access to trains, near the convenience store, and a restaurant that closes late night. There's also a mall, few streets away from the hotel. It's also nice to have your own washing machine and microwave inside the room. We booked 2 rooms and the space was right for our 4 medium sized luggages (2 each rooms). On the lobby there's a coffee and ice free for guests. The problems we had during our stay were our rooms smells musty on our first day and the washing machine lint filter wasn't clean properly. Also, the whole room cleaning happens only on the 7th day but, the there's daily towel change and garbage pickup. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there and I would like to stay there again or in other Tokyu Stay hotels in the future.

I highly recommend this hotel. It is located in Shibuya, but in a quiet area away from the busy streets. It’s about a 7-minute walk from Shibuya Station. The room was very clean, although a little small, but that’s totally fine as small rooms are quite standard in Japan.

The front office staff were also excellent — very friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout my stay. Their warm and attentive service made the experience even more enjoyable.

The washing machine in the room was extremely helpful, and I didn’t have to bring too many clothes. A coffee machine is also available in the lobby. The hotel lobby is beautiful, clean, and smells wonderful. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Tokyo

This Tokyu Stay Nihonbashi is clean, comfortable and most importantly, the location is strategic and is at JR line, that you can conveniently ride the train from Narita airport and to every where else stations.
The room is spacious with a single queen bed, equipped with small kitchen equipment and the in room washer/dryer- the thing i am most excited about that i do not need to share with the whole hotel guests.
The bathroom is spacious too, compared with other hotels in Japan that i have stayed in before.
One thing to look at is the drainage of the bath tub. This might have been clogged before, therefore the water flowing into the sinkhole when showering is very slow. It makes me stand inside the bath tub with my shower water.
Otherwise, the stay is still perfect.
Thank you for your hard work and i will be back again in near future.

I didn't expect to find such a great value hotel during my summer trip. The last time I was in Kyoto was in 2023, and for some reason, hotel prices across the city were generally skyrocketing then. This year, the value for money was truly exceptional, and I was very satisfied with everything, especially meeting Mr. Yang, a Chinese staff member, right after checking in! He was incredibly kind and meticulously explained the hotel's facilities to my friend and me. He even had our luggage placed in our room before we returned. Throughout our stay, he was always responsive to our requests, making for a very smooth interaction and leaving us with an excellent impression. With such a great location and service, there's absolutely nothing to complain about.

The washing machine in the room was also a high-end model that I'd be hesitant to buy for my own home; it was almost silent in operation. The only downside was that it took a bit long, sometimes up to five hours for a full cycle, though perhaps I wasn't using it correctly. Nevertheless, the clothes came out very soft and clean.

My only regret is that there's a Beams store right across from the nearest subway station to the hotel, and I only discovered it as I was about to leave! It's a shame I didn't get to browse there. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Kyoto, and I'll make sure to visit that Beams store. I hope to see Mr. Yang again if I get the chance. Many thanks!

The location is excellent. Coming out of Hankyu Kyoto-Kawaramachi Station, Exit 9, turn right, and you're directly on a shopping street. Walk about 50 meters, and you'll see the KOE Donuts shop, with the hotel's ground floor elevator entrance right next door. The lobby for check-in is on the second floor. Takashimaya is just across the street, making shopping very convenient. Gion is within walking distance, but we opted for the bus for convenience, which was also very easy.

The hairdryer, shampoo, and body wash were all ReFa, which felt so good that we ended up washing our hair daily, always smelling nice.

The lobby staff had excellent English, including some Westerners, making communication very smooth. They also gave helpful reminders about the washing machine and cleaning procedures.

My only complaint, which I can't overlook, is the air conditioning. It had a strong, damp, musty smell that I couldn't stand. It's not a central AC system; I even took a picture of it. The musty smell was present as soon as we entered the room. Even opening the window and letting air in didn't help, and we were on the 8th floor. The room also had something like a humidifier or air purifier, but turning it on didn't solve the problem either. I wonder if this is a widespread issue, as I'd seen previous reviews mentioning it, and it seems I 'won the lottery' by experiencing it myself. If you can't tolerate this, please pay attention to this potential problem.

As always, my top priority when staying at a hotel is getting a good night's sleep. Since I'm very sensitive to noise, I specifically chose this hotel for its quiet location, tucked away from the hustle and bustle. And it truly lives up to that 'quiet yet convenient' reputation.

The hotel is very close to the subway station, making travel incredibly easy, yet it's set back from the main road. My room faced a residential area at the back, which was exceptionally quiet. For those who prioritize window views and want to wake up to a beautiful scenery every day, this might be a bit disappointing. However, if your main goal is a good night's sleep, then this is definitely a highly recommendable option.

The curtains are double-layered, but given the early sunrise in Kyoto during summer, the room still gets quite bright in the morning. If you're sensitive to light, I'd suggest bringing your own eye mask.

I stayed in the most basic room type, which was about 20 square meters. To be honest, the two beds took up most of the space, with just the aisle remaining. However, this is quite common for city hotels in Japan, so it was entirely within my expectations. The two single beds were pushed together. If you wanted them separated, one bed would have to be pushed against the wall. For couples, having them together is perfectly fine.

What surprised me was how spacious the bathroom, laundry area, and toilet were. While not necessarily essential for me, I believe this would be a huge plus for many long-term travelers or families.

I found the overall soundproofing of the hotel to be quite good. I had requested a top-floor room in advance, and the hotel did its best to accommodate my request. Check-in was very smooth, and the staff were friendly and provided satisfactory service.

Originally, I considered booking a family room, but then I worried that family rooms might be more likely to be surrounded by families with young children, leading to a higher probability of noise. So, I ultimately chose the smallest room type. This way, at least the chances of having a large family next door would be lower. However, if you're not as sensitive to noise as I am, I would actually recommend the family room.

That's because the family room isn't much more expensive, but the size is almost double. In a city like Kyoto, where space is at a premium, this combination of space and price offers exceptional value for money, and I would highly recommend it.

Regarding breakfast, I didn't opt for the breakfast package when booking, but I did pay extra to try it once. To be honest, if you compare it to the luxurious breakfasts at many four or five-star hotels in China, it's not in the same league. Here, it's a semi-buffet style where you choose a main dish and then complement it with items from the self-service area.

However, considering that for most people traveling to Kyoto, breakfast isn't usually the most important experience of the day, if you're not specifically looking for an incredibly lavish or high-end breakfast, the quality here is perfectly adequate. The environment is clean, the ingredients are fresh, and the overall experience is quite good.

Overall, this is a hotel I would happily stay at again. It offers convenient transportation, a quiet environment, and attentive service, making it especially suitable for travelers like me who prioritize sleep quality above all else.

Great location and a very comfortable stay. The room was clean, tidy, and well maintained, and the hotel was convenient for getting around Kyoto. The staff were also friendly and helpful. Overall, a pleasant experience and I would consider staying here again.

After looking at many hotels, I finally chose this one. It was absolutely perfect! The transportation was convenient, and the facilities were excellent. We could do laundry every day, and the two rooms we booked for our family of four were very spacious. There were also several popular (or 'Instagrammable') shops within walking distance.

The room was very clean, and I had no trouble opening my 30-inch suitcase. There's also a desk, and a place to hang clothes after washing them. It's super convenient for shopping and getting around, and there's even a popular donut shop right outside the door.
