I had a wonderful stay at The First Collection Jumeirah Village Circle. The hotel exceeded my expectations — even though it is a 4-star hotel, it truly feels like a 5+ star experience with its beautiful design, high standards, and excellent service.

The rooms were modern, spacious, and very clean, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The whole hotel is stylish, well maintained, and has a luxurious atmosphere.

The location is also very convenient. While it is not directly by the beach, it is perfectly situated for exploring Dubai, and if you’re not planning to spend all your time by the sea, it’s a great choice with easy access to many areas of the city.

The price-to-quality ratio is honestly one of the best I’ve experienced in Dubai. You get a beautiful hotel, great facilities, and a premium feeling without the price tag of a luxury 5-star property.

I would definitely recommend The First Collection JVC to anyone looking for a stylish, comfortable, and affordable stay in Dubai. I would happily return!

I like the front desk staff, they are very friendly, funny, problem solving, down to earth. I like the middle eastern style food for breakfast, as tourists this is what we want to experience. The room service is average, I don't need daily cleaning, but I expect water and tea to be replenished daily... The bar, restaurant, cafe, shisha are all good, the service at the pool is also good, I like it and will come again next time

This is my second time staying here. It used to be a Wyndham, and while the name has changed, everything else is pretty much the same. The only difference is they no longer provide disposable toiletries. Overall, it's a very good hotel with a great location. We checked in early, around 10:00 AM, and they charged an extra 400 Dirhams for it.

The suite room size isn't huge for Singapore, but standard rooms here are tiny, so a suite at least gives you some space to move around. I found a cockroach on the first day, but after I killed it, I didn't see any more. That's pretty common in a tropical place like Southeast Asia, but the hotel should still step up their pest control. I chose this hotel mainly for its convenient location; it's right next to the MRT station, making getting around super easy. The service was pretty good too. While breakfast isn't a buffet, it's still quite substantial, and you can pick and choose what you want, which is nice.

From the lobby onwards, the room is filled with thoughtful design – it clearly looks like the work of a master. The metallic elements are abundant. Although the hotel isn't large, the clever use of mirrors makes the entire space feel much bigger. As soon as we arrived at check-in, welcome drinks were brought to us. They even upgraded us for free to a room with a small balcony. The overall experience was good, and the front desk service was excellent.

Right opposite the hotel, just across the road (there's a construction site across the street, but behind it is a long street that leads all the way to Bugis. The durian at the fruit stalls there is incredibly authentic and cheaper than in China), Bugis has plenty of dining options that are both affordable and varied. There's also a 7-Eleven. The hotel's location is pretty good overall. This new Marriott hotel is definitely worth a stay.

Generally was a good experience as I managed to check in early and only waited in the lobby for awhile. Forgot to bring my bank card to be put on hold but it was okay. The room was really small, as all boutique hotels usually are. I saw this body milk and it seemed expired past its prime been many years so I didn’t dare use it. Everything in the mini bar is chargeable. What I didn’t like was that I wasn’t able to change the two breakfast to a dinner instead as I was staying by myself. They didn’t have that option when I was booking on trip. I also feel that shavers should generally be provided to everyone without asking. Breakfast option was really scrumptious. Overall I enjoyed my stay!

The room is quite dark but very spacious and near to all famous restaurant! Very nice place to go.

The location is very convenient, only 2 minutes away from CTA. The toilet exhaust system is not very effective, but it can be used. After we checked in, we found that the children in the next room were very noisy. The hotel communicated with the next guest in time and changed our room. Overall, the attitude of hotel staff is good.

I’ve stayed here multiple times now, but don’t feel like they appreciate my business. No upgrades ever. Asked for quiet room and got one on a high floor. But there was constant noise from the machine closet or elevator. Lobby feels crowded and there’s sometimes a line for the elevator. That said, location is awesome and I love the Nespresso machine in each room.
