Anonymous UserThis yurt is the top choice for your grassland adventure – the experience far exceeded my expectations! The yurt is spacious, decorated with traditional ethnic flair, and the beds are clean and dry. It's equipped with a bathroom, hot water, and electricity – a far cry from the old-fashioned, basic accommodations. Stepping outside, you're greeted by the vast, verdant grasslands, the air thick with the scent of grass. Watch the sunrise over the grasslands in the morning, admire the sunset over grazing cattle and sheep in the evening, and gaze at the starry sky through the skylight at night – the atmosphere is simply divine. The freshly made hand-pulled mutton and salty milk tea are authentic and delicious, offering exceptional value. For an immersive nomadic experience, this grassland accommodation is highly recommended!

LiumangyishenamaniCTake parents and children to arrange two days of grassland tour, compared with several companies and finally decided here, the whole journey is comfortable and there is no pit. The palace star Qi• Huanju family yurt, originally worried about the simple accommodation in the grassland, did not expect the interior to be clean and dry, the independent twin room has sufficient hot water, equipped with electric blankets, the temperature difference between day and night is not cold at night, and the bedding is changed every day. There is no smell. Pushing open the door is an endless grassland, and the wallpaper-level scenery is all taken. Dining must be praised, the local lamb is slaughtered now, the meat is very fresh, the milk tea is mellow, the milk food platter is even more authentic, the weight is really not premium, there is no scenic spot to slaughter the customer routine. The boss family is very simple and took the initiative to help us talk about horse riding discounts. The children are very happy to ride completely. In the evening, there is a free bonfire party, horse head piano playing, everyone singing and dancing together, and small fireworks at their own expense. The supporting facilities are very complete, archery, grass skating, grassland small trains, free parking in the scenic spot, and friendly self-driving. There is very little light pollution at night, and you can clearly see the Milky Way in the yurt, and you can't see it in the city. The only small regret is that the temperature difference between day and night is large, remember to bring a thick coat, the overall food, lodging and playing one stop, the experience is far beyond expectations, come to the grassland holiday to choose this one!

It was my first time staying in a motorhome, and it was beyond my expectations. The Starry Sky Motorhome was very bright and spacious, and the scenery outside the window was beautiful. We watched a yurt performance here, and the children rode a small train and played go-karts. The bonfire party was very exciting, and we all danced together. The next day, we also watched lambs in the pastoral area and drank Mongolian milk tea. I would like to mention that the housekeeper, Miss Li Jiamin, was very warm and considerate in her service, and the children liked her very much.

The boss is very enthusiastic. Now the temperature difference in the grassland is very big. It is very cold at night. There are electric blankets in the yurt. The quilt is also very thick. It is better to have hot water to wash. It is convenient for the boss to pick it up. I will come to the grassland in the future. Come to this place, in short, the experience is great

Nice stay, food is available for morning, lunch, dinner
extra activities:
- go kart
- horse riding
- dancing and singing from locals during lunch/dinner
a performance show available close to here, the owner can sell you the tickets for 140 instead of 280 from the ticket office.
sometimes you don’t have warm water, so it might be a bit difficult during winter.

A typical Mongolian yurt with toilets, hot water, restrooms, showers, and TVs. It is large in scale, and has restaurants, bonfire parties, performances, and bars. It feels more convenient and friendly than the hotels in the town. The resort is right in the grassland, and you can see the grassland wherever you walk. It is worth recommending.

Absolutely amazing reviews, nothing to say. The hotel customer service, Mr. Li who picked us up, and the rest of the hotel staff were all super nice. The hotel has private bathrooms, which are clean and well-equipped. They provided free pick-up and drop-off, took us on tours, and gave us many discounts. We had a blast. We met lovely people on the Xilamuren Grassland. I'm so happy and will definitely come back! It's much more reliable to contact a hotel than a tour group! Blue skies, white clouds, green grass, and adorable lambs! Horseback riding and archery at the Aobao meeting were so much fun.

Guest UserOur experience was truly memorable! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with horse wine and traditional music, which set the tone for the trip. The check-in process was seamless, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, offering us a variety of activities right away.
Shortly after arrival, we went horseback riding through the beautiful fields. Following that, we visited a nearby area with an array of activities like tea tasting, dressing up in traditional Mongolian clothing, archery, and viewing livestock. There was also an option to watch a horse riding show, but we decided to skip it as we were a bit tired.
The room was cozy, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Even though it was cold outside, the heating kept the space warm, making it a perfect retreat after a long day of activities. It added a charming touch to the overall experience.
In the evening, there was a large yurt on the premises where we enjoyed an authentic Mongolian dinner accompanied by a captivating live show. The night ended with fireworks, a bonfire, and more entertainment, making it a truly unforgettable experience.
I highly recommend this place if you want a well-organized and immersive experience. Even though we don’t speak Chinese, communication was never an issue, and we always felt welcomed. A big thank you to the team for taking such great care of us!

Here's the updated review with that additional context:
Full Version
We had a wonderful stay, largely thanks to one of the owners who went out of their way to organize activities for us and made our experience truly memorable. The dinner and show were fantastic—featuring original-style Mongolian traditional dance and singing that felt authentic and captivating. Both lunch and dinner were excellent, and we were especially impressed by the Lamb Bao served at breakfast. Overall, the service and warmth from the people were genuinely good.
That said, all the costs were quite expensive compared to what I'm used to after living and traveling in China for more than 10 years. I would recommend the horse riding off the main area, as they suggest, but the Happy Ranch was not that fulfilling—most of the rides and activities there weren't worth the time or money. That's an external activity though, so no discredit to the hotel itself. While we didn't end up using the actual amenities, the hospitality and cultural performance alone made the visit worthwhile.
Balanced Short Version (Google/TripAdvisor):
Great experience thanks to one of the owners, who personally organized activities for us. The dinner and show were a highlight—original Mongolian traditional dance and singing that was unique and impressive. Food was excellent at all meals, especially the Lamb Bao at breakfast, and the staff were genuinely warm. Costs were quite high compared to what I'm used to after 10+ years in China. I recommend the horse riding off the main area as suggested, but the Happy Ranch activities weren't worth the time or money—though that's external, not the hotel's fault. Didn't use the actual hotel amenities, but the hospitality and performance were good.
