Hidden amidst the karst landscapes of Mingxi Village, the experience at Lux* Chongzuo went far beyond my expectations! The overall aesthetic is sophisticated and elegant, with architecture that blends seamlessly with the mountains and rivers. The lobby frames a stunning panoramic view of the landscape, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable, with balconies directly overlooking the peaks and rice paddies. Every detail exudes quality. The dining experience was a delightful surprise. Eating in a restaurant surrounded by mountains and water, enjoying the views of the peaks and river while savoring exquisite dishes – a fusion of local flavors and creative cuisine – was a feast for both the eyes and the palate. It's an immersive embrace of nature: watching the morning mist weave around the green mountains, encountering the glow of the sunset in the evening, boating on the river, and strolling through the countryside, all far from the city's hustle and bustle. The butler service was attentive and thoughtful, making the check-in experience feel truly special. This stay was unparalleled, offering a complete immersion in the poetic beauty of the landscape. It's definitely worth a special trip and comes highly recommended!

Extremely satisfied with this guesthouse! I initially chose this location because the electric scooter parking at Yu Lin Ba (Fish Scale Dam) costs money, so I figured I'd stay here, see the dam, and then rent a scooter. That turned out to be a great decision – the location is incredibly advantageous, and currently, this guesthouse offers the best value and is the prettiest in the area. The hotel rooms come with washing machines, there's a 'Sky Mirror' on the rooftop, and a kids' pool downstairs. What really stands out is how attentive they are to every detail. Every corner is spotless. When I went to the Sky Mirror at noon, an auntie even specially cleaned the glass. The swimming rings by the pool were all nice and new, not tattered at all. The room also had a Tmall Genie, and the cleaning was impeccable. I arrived early, and they opened one room for me, and I practically watched them prepare the adjacent one. When we checked in, the staff immediately took photos of our license plate to link it to the parking system. The service was incredibly thoughtful, and we even received brown sugar as a parting gift when we checked out. A truly delightful stay!

The suite faced lush green rice paddies, absolutely beautiful! Even without going out, just lounging in the hotel room was incredibly comfortable. The suite was fantastic! 2. **Hotel Service Satisfaction:** Because we stayed for an extended period, we sometimes needed extra water, an iron, or even mosquito repellent. The hotel even provided ointment for mosquito bites, which was far beyond our expectations. My husband and I both highly praised it; such meticulous and warm service can only come from professional management! 3. **Hotel Restaurant Dining Satisfaction:** We had an outing almost every day, and whether it was a trendy restaurant, a farmhouse eatery, or something else, the food was always just average. So, we decided to try the hotel's Chinese and Vietnamese restaurants. After eating at the Chinese restaurant, we decided never to eat out again. We dined at the Chinese restaurant opposite our suite for every meal, and not a single dish was repeated, nor did any disappoint. On our last day, which was the Mid-Autumn Festival, they even gave us a mooncake to sample. Because we were so full, we asked the staff if we could pack it up, and to our surprise, seeing there were two of us, they gave us an extra one! This was truly beyond expectations! 4. **Hotel Facilities Satisfaction:** The hotel itself is a popular scenic spot – ”Dao Na Li” – featuring beautiful rice paddies, banana trees, a small river, coffee, and more. In the mornings, staff leading cows would pass by the rice paddies; in the evenings, the hotel had a small bar illuminating the starry rice fields. My husband and I both agreed that the hotel's design was very professional and thoughtful, showcasing meticulous design and excellent aesthetics everywhere! 5. **Hotel Travel Photography Satisfaction:** We booked a travel photoshoot on our last morning within the hotel grounds. The travel photos turned out so beautiful, we were very pleased! Finally, I want to thank a few hotel staff members I can name: Xiao Zhen, Xiao Li, and the entire team who served us, whose names I might not recall. Thank you very much for your service; you left us with a very impressive and wonderful impression in Chongzuo! After returning, we've been recommending this hotel to everyone we meet. We're so satisfied, and we've even agreed that if we get the chance, we must go back and stay at this hotel again. Just staying at the hotel, relaxing and enjoying afternoon tea (oh, and they even provided free afternoon tea), was wonderful!

The best thing about this place are the owners. Full of initiative and kindness, I am very appreciative of their initiative services. For example, they asked if I already had transportation for my next destination, then how much I was quoted. Then they said that was a fair price if it was right to the hotel, to just check and verify if it is so. This is a very helpful guidance for out-of-towners. The room is clean, and after 4 days of travel in the area, it is the only one that doesn't have any lingering smells of cigarette smoke. It is hard to find rooms like these, including rooms that claim to be smoke-free. The view from the room is great and it is nice to watch the birds fly over the border river. Birds are not constrained by fences. Bottles of water are provided, as are disposable towels, which I'm not a fan of, as well as soap, shampoo and so on. There is no separation of wet/dry areas, but slippers are provided. You may not get the best photos in such a homestay, but it is functional and practical, and everything works well, drainage and so on, which is more important. I would stay here again and I would recommend this place in a heartbeat.

1. Amazing hospitality. The hotel owner, Shaowei was there to help us in every possible way. She brought us to see the panoramic view of Mingshi Tianyuan with her own expenses. She also took us to another place to watch native people’s dance, sing and bonfire after dinner. She also helped me to catch a local bus to another town. Her kindness was simply beyond my expectations. If I come back to Mingshi, the reason will be not the town itself, but Shaowei. 2. Flawless cleanness Everything looked to be built just now. Clean, comfortable and tidy. No smell of cigarette or whatsoever. 3. Decent breakfast Breakfast is simple but the taste is good. You can enjoy rice noodle, rice porridge and fruits with good tea and soy milk. 4. Great location The hotel is located close to the bus station and you can get on any local bus passing by easily. Good restaurants are everywhere nearby as well. Thank you so much for all the help and care. I really wish to meet you again.

I saw some mixed reviews about Yuexiang Biancheng online, and I was a bit hesitant at first. But after staying there myself, I realized it offers really good value for money. The hotel entrance looks quite ordinary, but once you get to the backyard, it's a completely different world. I was especially pleasantly surprised when they upgraded my room. The room was spacious and comfortable, which significantly enhanced my stay. All the hotel facilities are well-maintained. They have all the essentials for long trips, like a self-service laundry room (with dryer) and a self-service gym. It's very practical to be able to do laundry and stretch a bit when you're tired from traveling. The backyard also offers a lot to do. You can cool off in the spring water pool, and in the evening, there's an outdoor garden cinema where you can watch movies with the mountain breeze, or even invite friends for a BBQ. Compared to many hotels in the same price range where you're mostly confined to your room, here you can truly relax and unwind even without leaving the hotel. The environment is quiet, and it's very close to Detian Waterfall, making it convenient for sightseeing. Despite the varied reviews online, experiencing it firsthand was the most reliable. This is definitely a place to consider when visiting Detian Waterfall.

Location of hotel is very convenient for travelers who take the tourist bus from either Chungzuo, Nanning or from Detian waterfalls scenic area. The room we booked had a nice view of the fields and karst mountains. What a beautiful sight to behold indeed. During the day, it can get noisy with all the comings and goings in the village and all around but at night, it was very quiet. The rooftop terrace was very nice and not busy when we were there. Breakfast was enjoyable with steamed buns, corn, soup noodles and boiled sweet potatoes- a healthy start for a very busy day. The very nice lady in charge of breakfast offered us breakfast on our check in day (we arrived at 10:30) and made sure we had enough to eat before sending us off to explore! We had never met a B&B operator who was so caring and generous. On our check out day, even though she was still busy with guests, she rushed out to bid us a fond farewell and a safe onward trip. Front desk and cleaning team were all very friendly, always smiling and helpful. All in all, a very warm and pleasant stay at Mingshi Scenic Area.

Great Location, as Visitor Center, Mingshi Tourist (明仕旅游度假区游客中心) and most attractions meeting point was just right in front of the hotel. But need to walk 3mins to the main street to enter the compound (Big Carpark). There were street night markets and mostly selling food. Rental of bikes and bicycles is right on the street too. The reception and service crews were helpful and friendly. The room was big, neat and clean with great view (Room 306). Overall : Happy Stay

Located right inside the Old Kapok scenic area, by the Vietnamese border river, it's super close to Detian Waterfall, which helps you avoid rush hour traffic. Breakfast was at the Old Kapok Hotel, and the 'Lao You Fen' (local rice noodles) was delicious. This was my first time staying in a tent, and it was a great experience – I woke up to the sound of birdsong.

The room facilities, though a bit dated, were very well-maintained and clean, showing the hotel's dedication. The hotel is located near the Guichun River within the scenic area, offering views of the Vietnamese people across the river, though the barbed wire fence is a bit of a letdown. However, the hotel's garden restaurant is an absolute disaster—the food is unappetizing and truly awful. I'd recommend eating before you check in or returning to the hotel to rest after you've had a meal elsewhere.
