The hotel is located 3 minutes walk from Yulin Dam. The room is relatively large, but the design is not good. For example, there is only one back seat in the room and there is no sofa. The setting of the hotel is in the perfect spot right on the river and surrounded by towering mountains.They should add ”resort” to the name. The room was plush and spacious with a great view of both river and mountains. The infinity pool is amazing and built for relaxation. It has comfortable cabana style lounge chairs literally in the pool. The staff is very attentive and met every need. They also provide shuttle service to the river rafting starting point and provide bicycles for riding around the countryside. (The hotel is also the end point of the river rafting trip.) The only downside is that the hotel is difficult to get to. Apparently there are plans to make this town into a tourist destination. Most of the major roads were torn up and the facades of most buildings are under construction. Even with that, being at the resort makes all that irrelevant. If you need a place to wash all your stress away, this is the perfect place. If I had one recommendation, it would be to think about foreign guests in terms of adult beverages. There is a beautiful bar right next to the pool... but one doesn't want tea while at the pool. Everything else about this hotel is perfect.

It was a really pleasant day. If it weren’t for the children who wanted to study, I would have wanted to stay here all the time. The hotel environment is very good. You can see a small waterfall from the room. There is Jiangjun Mountain next to the hotel, which is also a good place to check in. It only takes five minutes. When you reach the top of the mountain, you can see Vietnam next door😐. It is only ten minutes away from Detian Waterfall. The hotel's facilities are very complete, and the lady at the front desk is beautiful and provides excellent service. The most important thing is that the lady boss is super nice!

The hotel is just opposite the Mingshi Tianyuan Visitor Center, and there is a separate manor. The rooms in the villa are all in a two-story townhouse, and the decoration style is very ethnic. Staying here, you can watch the daytime singing and dancing performances and the evening bonfire party for free, and there are free bicycles for free cycling in the surrounding countryside. I came on a cloudy day in December, and it was still a bit cold outside, but the warm air conditioner was turned on in advance when I entered the room, and there were welcome fruits, which was very considerate! So compared with the outlying B&Bs, although it is a little more expensive, it is still worth the money. (You can find out after riding around that the outlying B&Bs are really peasant houses built on the edge of the fields 🙁 Of course, I can't comment on the internal facilities without staying there) Talk about the disadvantages: I booked a king-size bed room, but it was actually two single beds put together, so there was no suitable plug on the bedside table (a power strip/socket was provided). The public corridor is outside the room window, and socially anxious people have to draw the curtains even during the day, but the lights in the room are dim even if all are lit. The bathroom is old and simple, but fortunately there is plenty of hot water, so it is acceptable for a one-night stay.

I'm very glad that I booked this hotel. The location is great. There are no rice fields in other places, only the rice fields maintained by the hotel are lush and green. The room is clean and big, the Chinese and Western food are delicious, there is free afternoon tea in the lobby every day, you can rent bicycles for free to ride the whole Mingshi Tianyuan, and there is a nightfall ceremony every day. When I went there, it happened to be a small Christmas concert, and fireworks were set off. Highly recommended.

The hotel room type is not rough, basically consistent with the promotional pictures. There are three hotels in the renovation scenic area. Shanshui Courtyard is medium-priced, and you can enjoy breakfast in the area with better scenery. The hotel is at the disembarkation position of the bamboo raft, and you can return to the hotel directly with the room card.
