Hotels with Breakfast in Weihai

After looking at a few hotels, I finally chose Orange Hotel, and it turned out to be the right decision. The location is excellent; turn left outside the hotel, and you'll find Xingfu Gate and Zhihai Harbor. Weigao Plaza is right behind the hotel, easily accessible via a small path. We could walk to the nearby old restaurants, and there's a bus stop right outside. Torch No. 8 Street and Hanlefang aren't too far, and Didi (ride-sharing) is very convenient. The hotel staff and housekeeping were also very warm, thorough, patient, and responsible. On the day we checked in, they informed us that breakfast would be more cost-effective if we purchased a membership card, which offered great value for money. It would have been even more perfect if there were fewer tiny bugs in the room. This trip to Weihai was a wonderful journey, and staying at Orange Hotel was a good decision. Weihai is great; I'll definitely come back next time.

I frequently stay at HUAZHU Group hotels, but this one truly offered a unique experience. The service was exceptionally thoughtful and personalized, especially the laundry service. They completely dried my clothes and even delivered them to my room. The hotel's environment and quality are top-notch. They offer free parking in a spacious lot, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby, which is very convenient. This stay was simply perfect! The breakfast was also fantastic, rivaling that of a five-star hotel. It's rare to find such a wide variety of seafood at a hotel breakfast of this caliber. Plus, they provide complimentary beer in the room. This hotel is just perfect, I loved it!

Overall, this hotel offers great value for money and exceeded our expectations, especially for a quiet family vacation. However, Weihai is a very long and narrow city from north to south. I wouldn't recommend it if your main destination is Torch Eight Street, as it's very, very far. It's much more suitable if your main destination is Hanlefang. From the hotel, you can easily reach Jiulong Bay Park with a minimum fare, which is great for kids to go crabbing and many locals also come here to pick clams. **Facilities:** The bedding is very comfortable, especially for someone like me who is particular about pillows – I was very satisfied. Other facilities are standard for this price point, including a swimming pool and a gym. The shallow end of the pool is 1.2 meters deep, and the water temperature is 28-29 degrees Celsius. **Hygiene:** The room felt very new, and the cleanliness was impeccable. Those with young children can rest assured. **Environment:** The hotel's interior is excellent. On our first day, it was very windy, and our child played in the lobby on the ground floor for half the day without getting bored. The exterior is a relatively quiet residential area. **Service:** They offer pick-up and drop-off service from Weihai Station, and there were welcome fruits. If we had any issues, the butler was always reachable. Upon check-out, they thoughtfully gave us some fruits and snacks. The breakfast selection was rich and tasty, and baby utensils were available.

The hotel's location is excellent, just a 10-minute drive from the high-speed train station (a DD8 taxi ride). It's right next to Hanlefang and the Huangguan morning market, which is incredibly convenient for foodies. Facilities: The hotel is quite large, and most rooms are 40 square meters or more. However, the overall decor is a bit traditional and falls short of newer hotel designs. That said, the cleanliness is generally good. Breakfast: The buffet breakfast on the first floor offers a decent variety, but I have two complaints. First, the freshly ground coffee is really bad – extremely weak and flavorless. Second, the fruit bar lacks local specialties. It was early September, peak season for green figs, yet I didn't see a single fig over three days of breakfast. What about Weihai's local specialties? Also, the breakfast tablecloths are quite worn out; I suggest replacing them. Everything else was satisfactory, so overall, it was a good stay.

I stayed for two nights, and everything was pretty good; the environment and facilities were fine. I had originally extended for a third night, but due to an unexpected event, I couldn't stay. I communicated about an early checkout, and I was open to a discounted refund, but the front desk didn't even bother to consult with a manager. They just told me directly that neither the hotel nor the platform could process a refund, and I would have to pay the original price. The service in this regard was a bit lacking. Everything else was good, but the service needs improvement.

The views of Yuan Lake are fantastic, and you can even spot the high-speed train. My partner and I were very impressed with the Chinese restaurant's dishes. The 'Old Chef Cabbage' brought back childhood memories of home-cooked meals, and the 'Guo Bao Rou' (sweet and sour pork) was quite authentic, though the batter was a bit thick. The sour radish and tripe dish was a great appetizer. The only minor drawback was that during the May Day holiday, there were a lot of families with children. The hotel's soundproofing isn't great, and the kids upstairs were running and jumping until past 10 PM. Plus, there was a persistent metallic noise coming from the ceiling.

We visited Weihai during the May Day holiday and chose the Weihai International Business Hotel, which is very close to the pier, to go to Liugong Island. It's a 15-minute walk to the pier. With children, we took a taxi, which was a 3-minute ride. After a long day at Liugong Island, we were exhausted and were able to quickly return to the hotel to rest. The room butler, Lina, provided exceptionally attentive service. She had already hung the children's laundry on the closet door and hung it out to dry by the window when we returned. The hotel is a state-owned enterprise. It was quite early, but the hotel was clean, and the bedding was very comfortable. The only downside was the slightly stiff bath towels. The view from the sea-view room was unbeatable. We could see the Liugong Island pier and enjoy the beautiful sunset.

Facilities: The room is spacious and the amenities are very new. Hygiene: Clean and tidy, with very clean linens. Environment: You can watch the tide ebb and flow right from your bed, and the beach is just outside. There's also a free private parking lot, so parking is very convenient. Service: The front desk service is excellent.

Advantages 1. The room is simple and quaint, and the kang is large and spacious. 2. The whole yard is very quiet, and you can enjoy the stars in the sky at night. 3. It is very close to the beach. Disadvantages: 1. The check-in location is quite far from the accommodation; 2. The bedsheets feel bumpy and pilling; 3. There are mosquitoes in the room at night. After a night's sleep, my ten fingers and my family members' necks were bitten by something inexplicably. There were also small blisters, which were extremely itchy, especially at night when the itchiness made it hard to sleep. I hope you will pay more attention to hygiene in the future.

There is not even a chain hotel in Nanhai New District. Generally speaking, this hotel is quite satisfactory. It is the off-season and the price is cheap. Compared with other hotels, the only drawback is that it is a little far from Nanhai, but a taxi only costs about ten yuan, so it is still acceptable.
