I had an incredibly satisfying stay! The hotel features beautiful Huizhou-style architecture. Our room was fully equipped, elegantly designed, and thoughtfully appointed. I was particularly impressed by the high-quality amenities provided: a bamboo fiber towel set, a peach wood comb, and linen slippers. Even the toiletries were premium, not the usual cheap items you find. The staff were incredibly service-oriented and friendly, which made a huge difference! Breakfast was also excellent. The hotel's restaurant, which is open to the public, offers distinctive dishes, and its prices are quite reasonable compared to other establishments in the scenic area. **Special touches worth noting:** * Xinjiang long-staple cotton bath and hand towels, exclusively customized for Poxin Yunshe. * Peach wood comb, exclusively customized for Poxin Yunshe. * Linen slippers, exclusively customized for Poxin Yunshe.

The location of this beautiful traditional house is perfect, just opposite the gorgeous rural area of the town and a few minutes from the main square . The house is lovely and the room was cosy with great charm, rafters and beams. The bed was very comfortable and i had a very good sleep as it is also very quiet. The room is suitable for 1 pperson as there is only a curtain between the bedroom area and bathroom area The owners contacted me as soon as i booked and picked me up from the entrance gate so I had a,seamless journey

I am filling this review out as the person who booked and paid for the room on behalf of my guest / driver, who stayed here for eight days. The room was conveniently located on the ground floor, and despite being adjacent to the main lobby, it was reasonably quiet. A set menu breakfast with nine small dishes was provided every morning in the restaurant, and was very healthy and beautifully presented. Cleaning was done every morning by aunties who knocked around 10a.m. to check if cleaning was requested. Parking onsite for free and EV charging was also available very conveniently next to the hotel. Although the hotel room was non-smoking, the driver smoked both inside the room and in the public lobby, but was not ticked off or asked to smoke outside (!). Staff were very courteous and friendly, always helping with any issue and happy to answer any questions. On departing, both the driver and myself received local biscuits as a gift. Really wonderful place to stay with an extremely well trained, polite family of hospitality experts.

Tachuan's autumn was made even more beautiful by this guesthouse. I searched on Ctrip for a long time, worried about hygiene issues, but this guesthouse really paid attention to details and was very clean. The moment I opened the door, the automatic welcoming ceremony from 'Xiao Ai' (smart speaker) was very touching. It's right at the entrance of Hongcun and the price is excellent value for money. The proprietress is very kind, and the young man who checked me in, Manager Xiao Wang, was extremely helpful with excellent service. From picking me up at the station to helping me find a car for my travels, he saved me the anxiety and exhaustion of not having a car in Hongcun. The prices were also reasonable. Anyone worried about drivers getting upset in Hongcun can completely entrust their needs to him. At the village entrance, he even used a small electric cart to help with my luggage. There are Hello e-bikes nearby, so you can go to Lucun early in the morning to watch the sunrise. Thank you for providing such a 'utopia' after my busy work. The hygiene was indeed top-notch!

The property is located in the heart of Hongcun, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the historic village on foot. As guests, you’re also entitled to discounted entrance tickets: just let the ticket office know you're staying here and they'll give you 50% off tickets. Room was exactly as in the photos, spacious, perfectly clean and featured a very comfortable bed and many accessories (bottled water, tv, haircomb, hairdrier, etc). The building’s traditional Chinese architecture was absolutely beautiful and on a rainy day, it created a wonderfully romantic atmosphere we will treasure forever in our memories. The staff were exceptionally helpful. They kindly met us to guide us to the hotel (since Apple Maps and AMaps can be a bit confusing in the area), provided umbrellas free of charge and even bring us back to the parking lot when we left. We had an excellent stay and highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Hongcun!

Here, there is no excessive commercial noise, far from the crowds of the main Hongcun scenic area, offering a serene and pure escape. It is precisely this rare tranquility that attracts painters who come to sketch and paint; every mountain, every field, every courtyard, every tree is a scene of beauty, creating a serene and beautiful atmosphere. The academy's ecology is serene and healing. Gentle cats and rabbits roam freely, surrounded by lush vegetation and a peaceful atmosphere. The vibrant natural air envelops you, gently soothing all the fatigue of your journey. The academy's scenic café boasts a stunning view, with rolling fields and mountains visible from the windows. Finding a quiet corner to sit and daydream, the gentle breeze and calming clouds allow your mind to settle, completely emptying your senses – a truly liberating and healing experience. The staff are gentle, friendly, and attentive, always attentive to guests' needs. Even though the place was busy that day, they kindly extended my check-out time to 3 PM. This consideration and thoughtfulness is a rare warmth and kindness on a journey. Overall, the stay was very pleasant, with only one small suggestion: The guesthouse is adjacent to the countryside and mountains, with a rich natural ecosystem, so there are bound to be some mosquitoes in the rooms. Those accustomed to city life might find it a little unusual at first. I hope the owner can be more meticulous in mosquito prevention, providing electric mosquito repellents in advance. Improving these details would make the overall stay even more thoughtful and perfect. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, falling asleep to the gentle breeze of the countryside, surrounded by the tranquility of the mountains and the soft touch of nature. Here, there's no need to rush; simply slow down and feel the flow of time. Immerse yourself in the pastoral poetry and tranquility unique to Tachuan Academy, away from the hustle and bustle, to find peace of mind and body, and experience exceptional healing.

The courtyard has a great design, perfect for taking photos and checking in. However, the downside is that during the day, many tourists pass by and even enter the courtyard to take pictures, making it very noisy. It's almost impossible to get some rest or a quick nap indoors during the day. In contrast, it's very quiet at night, and the ambiance is excellent. The distinctive Huizhou architectural style is prominent, and overall it's quite good. The owner also arranges for an uncle to pick up guests and luggage from the bus station, and their responses are very prompt. Courtyard No. 2 is only a five-minute walk from Yueyao Pond and the Ancestral Temple, making it ideal for early risers to snap photos before the crowds arrive.

Wonderful stay in a truly unique property. Zhang Mansion is much more than just a hotel: it is an authentic experience inside an ancient traditional mansion, perfectly immersed in the historic atmosphere of Hongcun. It almost feels like being transported back in time, into the quiet and refined beauty of China from several centuries ago. The interiors are full of charm, history, and character, and staying here allows you to experience the village in a much deeper way than a simple day visit. The atmosphere is calm, evocative, and almost cinematic. A very sweet detail: the property’s cat and dog are genuinely lovely and add an even warmer, more memorable touch to the experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic, romantic, and timeless stay.

The room was clean and tidy, with complete amenities allowing for laundry and cooking. The two bedrooms are on opposite sides of the living room, ensuring privacy and no mutual disturbance. There are multiple restaurants and supermarkets in the surrounding area, making shopping very convenient.

Guanlu Village was an unexpected surprise! ✅The rooms in the main building were very convenient and had a great view, facing the countryside. They were very close to the restaurant and parking lot, so no shuttle was needed. ✅The room design was wonderful. It was spacious, had a great view, and had all the necessary features! The bathtub strap and bed rail were thoughtfully provided. ✅The best part was that you could rent an electric car. It was very convenient for visiting Guanlu Village, Nanping Village, and other places! There were also activities, so be sure to check the official account. During National Day, you can go rice threshing! ⭕️They could have provided some children's washbasins. The washbasin is quite high, making it difficult for preschoolers to brush their teeth. ⭕️The restaurant could improve its cooking skills. 😂The service level could be improved, and the speed of clearing plates and other things could be improved. ❌The rural roads were extremely difficult to navigate, and the intersections with large vehicles were extremely dangerous. If you are not familiar with the road conditions or driving from other places, do not drive at night! !!!
