GGuest UserWe stayed here for two nights and it felt like visiting family :-) The hosts were so heart-warming and caring and did everything to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We can totally recommend Shangsharuoshui Homestay and we will definitely come back. The hotel is brand-new and beautifully designed. The room was well equipped and perfectly clean. All amenities were provided. For the second day we were asked about our wishes for breakfast. The hosts also organised a reliable and cheaper taxi to Huangshan North. Location couldn't be better, very quiet and just 2 min walk to the moon pond. Again, it's hard to imagine finding hosts which are more friendly and generous than at this place. What a truly remarkable stay ❤️ Thanks again for the fare-well gifts!

GGuest UserDespite being there way off-season, I still received a warm welcome. The whole facility is fun to walk around; there are many places to just sit and relax while watching the beautiful landscapes. I was really surprised when I saw a bunch of bunnies and geese in some areas—they add a nice touch to the atmosphere of peace and tranquility. The rooms are good, with a nice view of the mountains. The food is simply amazing, and the breakfast was beyond all expectations. The staff were very nice and helpful, and overall my stay there was very, very enjoyable! I hope to visit you again when it gets a bit warmer.

Owners are very kind , friendly and helpful 😍. I booked villa for our family and the house is quite big (3bedrooms). The attic room super warm ( -4 when I visited ) but very dirty under the bed. The location is near to the gate. At the owner house has 2cat(mimi1 and mimi2) and 1dog(xiaobai). Owner help us to booked the car to Huangshan. (if you want to book the car for pick up from airport or train station please contact hotel directly the price will be cheaper than transport service at there ALOT!!!) Thank you for warming us like a family 🥰.

GGuest UserTraveling with 2 of my friends on a fun girls trip! This was such an amazing location. We went from a sad and boring hotel in Beijing to this fantastic location and suddenly the whole trip was more fun and much more interesting. The host met us at the entrance to Hongcun and carried our luggage in the back of his little vehicle as we followed him around quaint buildings and through a narrow cobblestone walkway which was perfect for walking and pretty impressive to drive thru without scratching anything. After the beautiful walk we came through the most beautiful circle archway and into the cutest courtyard. We rented the room with a queen bed downstairs and 2 full beds up in the loft. The rooms were so cute we had to hide our luggage to do a full video tour to show our families before unpacking. The beds have mattress toppers which helped soften up the beds for us Americans. The host was very helpful and I would suggest getting WeChat to translate if you don’t speak Chinese. I don’t but it was easy to communicate. I would definitely stay at here again. Highly recommended!

LLiYou88Had a fantastic stay at this beautiful hidden gem. We felt truly welcome from the very first moment, as the hosts were incredibly kind, explaining everything and helping us whenever needed. They even offered us tea both upon arrival and again when we were about to leave. The interior is lovely and creates an authentic, traditional Chinese atmosphere.
