AA…xuanTraveling with parents and kids, I always dread inconvenient accommodations, but I never expected Yiwangxi B&B to satisfy the whole family! The location is perfect for a family trip; it's close to Nanhu Lake and Yuezao Pond, so there's no need to travel far. The courtyard is flat with no stairs, making it safe for kids to play and seniors to stroll. The rooms are spacious and bright, spotlessly clean, and the attention to detail is remarkable. The owners are especially kind to children, not only giving them snacks but also helping to look after them so we could take photos in peace. They even proactively helped my parents with their luggage and heavy items. Even my parents praised the owners for their warmth and thoughtfulness, saying it was the most comfortable B&B they've ever stayed in!

Whether you're snuggling on the soft cushions or lying flat, it's incredibly relaxing. For us young people, the happiest thing in our free time is comfortably lying on the tatami playing with our phones. No need to adjust to the sofa's angle, no need to worry about posture – just be as lazy as you like. Your whole body is in its most relaxed state, and a day's fatigue instantly disappears. This kind of spontaneous joy is truly amazing! Not only is the living experience top-notch, but the smart features in the room truly impressed me. The voice-controlled design throughout is incredibly convenient, completely freeing your hands. No need to get up to turn lights on/off, open/close curtains, or adjust devices – a simple word does it all. It’s full of technology yet convenient, providing a truly futuristic living experience. The happiness brought by smart living is maximized. Even the fully smart toilet in the bathroom far exceeded expectations, with thoughtful functional design and a comfortable user experience. The mattress had just the right firmness, ensuring a very comfortable sleep. The self-service laundry room was incredibly practical. FFionSongWe stayed in the Mountain View Duplex room with two adults and two children. The owner's wife kindly picked up our luggage from the South Gate with a trolley and also helped us take it back there when we left. The service was excellent and very welcoming. The room was clean and tidy, and the kids absolutely loved the stairs, running up and down. There's also a pumpkin-shaped lounge chair on the second floor; we didn't have enough time, but it would have been perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee while admiring the upturned eaves. The guesthouse is very thoughtfully decorated. The small pavilion is beautiful and even has a fish pond. The location is a bit further back in the village, which makes it very quiet.

GGippiThe property is located in the heart of Hongcun, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the historic village on foot. As guests, you’re also entitled to discounted entrance tickets: just let the ticket office know you're staying here and they'll give you 50% off tickets. Room was exactly as in the photos, spacious, perfectly clean and featured a very comfortable bed and many accessories (bottled water, tv, haircomb, hairdrier, etc). The building’s traditional Chinese architecture was absolutely beautiful and on a rainy day, it created a wonderfully romantic atmosphere we will treasure forever in our memories. The staff were exceptionally helpful. They kindly met us to guide us to the hotel (since Apple Maps and AMaps can be a bit confusing in the area), provided umbrellas free of charge and even bring us back to the parking lot when we left. We had an excellent stay and highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Hongcun!

GGuest UserThe hotel boasts a modern Chinese-style decor, with simple yet elegant rooms, new and smart facilities, clean and comfortable bedding, and a quiet, well-insulated room for a good night's sleep. The hotel's service and management are excellent, combining standardized management with a warm, home-like feel. It's conveniently located just a few minutes' walk from the west gate of Hongcun Village and also close to Lucun Village. We got up around 6 am to go to Hongcun, returned to the hotel at 8:30 am for breakfast (a wide variety of options), rested in our room for a while, and then went to Lucun Village – it was incredibly convenient. Upon departure, the hotel gave us Huangshan sesame seed cakes as a souvenir, which touched us deeply and gave us a great start to our journey!

GGuest UserDriving for a day is more tired, because there is no sign in the parking lot, and I get off at the gate with the child and ask the little girl at the front desk. A beautiful lady with thick lips and dark skin greeted her with a smile. She grabbed the suitcase in the hands of the child's father and guided the parking lot across the road. Later, I saw that my hair was irritable and a bit cold. I grabbed a small bottle of warm mineral water and asked if I needed conditioner. I hope the hotel will give the young lady a reward. I stayed for two nights. The cleaning staff on the second day was more fooled. I made up the mineral water, even the bathroom and quilt were not sorted. The overall feeling is good, Hongcun impression is also 👍, more Hui recommended Hongcun's whole season to the surrounding friends

To our surprise, the hotel concierge even informed us in advance that we could upgrade to a 200-square-meter villa suite – what a huge, pleasant surprise! Our private car could park directly in front of the villa. The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle service to the restaurant, lobby, and other hotel areas, available on-call. Banyan Tree truly sets the standard for hotels; both the hardware and software are top-notch. The service attitude is excellent, the rooms are clean and hygienic, and fresh fruit and pastries are delivered daily. The hotel breakfast offers a wide variety of choices. At sunset, there are special performances, and you can also enjoy a complimentary travel photography service, with three free photos per room number. From the highest point outside the lobby, you can overlook the Lucun ancient village scenic area, which makes for fantastic photos. The hotel is conveniently located, just a 10-minute drive from Hongcun and a 20-minute drive from Xidi. It's also only half an hour from Yixian East Station. This hotel comes highly recommended!
