Kinchoro is the more exclusive wing of Fuikuichi. The rooms come sight private onsen and it’s similar to most 10 tatami rooms. The service from the staff is good. They are almost invisible when you don’t need them but will magically appear when you need help, during meal times and check in/out time. The food unfortunately seem to be so so only. I didn’t find it spectacular, and in fact fringing on being a bit too inventive. Otherwise, all okay.

I can see that it is a historical hotel. Because it is a Saturday relationship, the unit price I booked is a bit high, but compared to the hotel in Tokyo, I am relieved. The room felt a little outdated, but it wasn't a problem especially for the stay. You can barely hear footsteps from other rooms or voices from the hallway. However, the staff were very nice, and I liked the variety of rice buffets. The staff at Viking were also very nice and easy to ask questions to. There are many kinds of buffet from breakfast, and some hotels pretend to have many kinds and have the same thing in several places, but here it was all different kinds. There was also a corner where you could make seafood bowls. I felt like I was able to get excited from the morning. It was a hotel that I would like to visit again. Another thing that was really nice for me was that they had an extension cord in the room. I think most hotels don't have a place to charge your phone, so sometimes it's a bit far away to charge your phone, or you can't reach the alarm clock next to you when you go to sleep, but they provided an extension cord so I didn't have to worry about that. . It took less than 10 minutes to walk to the stone steps.
