Chen~~Even though the Avani Khon Kaen Hotel has been open for years, the overall facilities and service don't feel old or dated at all; my experience exceeded expectations! I pre-booked the airport transfer service over the phone, which was paid but reasonably priced. Upon arrival, the staff proactively helped me take my luggage to my room. The elevator requires a key card to reach your floor, ensuring maximum privacy and security.
There aren't many commercial areas around the hotel, making for a quiet and peaceful environment, but the internal dining options are incredibly diverse. The breakfast selection was perfectly suited to my taste, offering a wide variety of local Northeastern Thai Khon Kaen specialties. The outdoor pool area is very relaxing, perfect for unwinding during downtime.
This stay, I was assigned a city view room, and I'm a little bit disappointed I didn't get to experience one of the popular lake view rooms. Whether you're traveling with family, on a business trip, or just for a short getaway, this hotel is perfectly suited for all, and I highly recommend it overall!
Just across the alley, there's also a great coffee shop called Coffee 34, which was my favorite spot during university – it's truly a decade-old establishment.

Anonymous UserThe hotel's location is excellent. It's about a 20-minute Grab ride from Khon Kaen Airport. The hotel decor features local Khon Kaen characteristics (dinosaurs and yukatas), and the terrace offers a panoramic view of the city, with a stunning nightscape.
The breakfast is abundant, and there are other restaurants and bars within the hotel, so even if the weather is bad, you can still enjoy good food and facilities.
The staff are friendly and helpful, and the hotel generally feels clean and comfortable.

Guest UserI've stayed here probably 3-4 times. It's quite convenient when traveling with elderly people. There's a dining counter with chairs, which is great because some in our group can't sit on the floor. The amenities are complete – a fridge and microwave, very convenient. The bathroom is clean. Sharing the cost at 700-800 baht per person is good value. The breakfast is delicious with many options and a coffee machine. There's a big TV with Netflix, but I'm not sure if it's in every room.

ชญาน์นันท์ ณัฐทวีวัฒน์The hotel was very peaceful and the room was clean. I particularly appreciated the prayer book provided for guests before bed. The staff were very attentive and provided great service. Right from the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was greeted by the security guard's warm and cheerful smile.

SmallduckThe location is very central, making it super convenient for getting around. I chose a renovated room, which was new, spacious, and clean. The bed was comfortable, and the service was good. There was a decent variety of breakfast options. Although the exterior of the hotel looks a bit old, it still has a charming beauty. Personally, I really liked it, and the price was reasonable. I'll definitely stay here again.

I stayed three nights and really enjoyed it. The hotel is not new, has a pleasant retro vibe. The windows are looking into the garden, nice and green, with a couple of tables and garden swings.
The atmosphere is very quiet and peaceful, even though it's close to a big street.
There is ICBC atm just near the entrance.
Staff was polite and nice (although I didn't really interact because I don't speak Thai). I arrived close to midnight, and the receptionist was there to check me in.
My room didn't get a lot of sunlight (because of the tall trees just outside), but I didn't mind because I was only there to rest and sleep.
You'll need to bring your own toothbrush and paste, or you can buy from the reception or 7-11 nearby. Free bottled water, also you can refill downstairs. Coffee, tea and jam toast, self service, in the morning.
The bed was huge and comfy, I had the best sleep in a while.
Also loved Vietnamese restaurant just across the street.
Would definitely stay again and choose a room on the ground floor, to have direct garden access.

Anonymous UserThe reviews weren't great, but when I actually went, it wasn't bad at all. The room wasn't huge, but it had all the amenities, the bathroom was clean, and the bed was comfortable. When I stayed, there was nothing really negative. The AC was cold, and they even provided an extra fan. The breakfast buffet was the best! The laab (spicy minced meat salad) was delicious, especially with rice. They also had congee, fruit, salad, and bread. The hotel is located right behind Central Khon Kaen Campus. It was still under construction when I visited, but now that it's finished, it must be super convenient. I'm worried the prices will go up, haha! If I go back, I'd definitely want to stay here again. Highly recommended!

SAWEEThe staff were very helpful. There were quite a lot of mosquitoes in the room when I checked in, and the staff kindly allowed me to switch rooms.

เที่ยวให้รู้The hotel is near Bueng Kaen Nakhon. Near convenience store The bedroom is reasonably good, the air conditioner is cool, but the room smells like onions from time to time. The bathroom is cramped and looks a little clean. The shower cap is small and easily torn. The old check cloth is beginning to tear and turn yellow. The quality is a little low. There is also a 500 baht deposit here. Pictures of the room may have been taken long ago. When I actually arrived, it looked much older than that. Breakfast is only available as a set, such as eggs, ham, pan-fried eggs, and rice with cabbage, but the chef opens at 7:30 a.m., so if the chef comes late on some days, he gets to eat eggs, sausage, and ham, just one menu. Summary of the overall picture, if it's easy to live, easy to eat, don't think. No matter how much, it's enough to live with. I just feel like The price paid is higher than the service received.
