I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Houston Downtown and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is conveniently located near downtown attractions, restaurants, and highways, making it easy to get around the city. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the amenities I needed — a good bed, plenty of outlets, and a strong Wi-Fi connection. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which is essential in Houston’s weather. The staff were friendly and professional, always ready to help with directions or local recommendations. The front desk check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. Breakfast was a nice surprise — a good selection of both hot and cold items, including eggs, sausage, pancakes, and fresh fruit. The breakfast area was clean and well-stocked throughout the morning. Parking was easy and felt secure, and the property overall was quiet and safe, ideal for both business and leisure travelers. Less than 5 minutes ride from the airport, the hotel is an ideal place for an overnight stay while waiting for your connecting flight if you arrive late and your next flight won't be until the next morning. All the amenities you want are there, plus wake up call and free shuttle bus to the airport. Highly recommended.
