"The location was good and the decor was attempting to be up to date and modern but it just felt cold and fell flat. Like most hotels that arnt in the upper price point, there is mold in the AC units. There was definitely mold in the AC in the room we stayed in but we weren’t expecting to close the bathroom door and see it on the bathroom wall. Looks like someone missed a spot while cleaning. Makes you wonder what other simple areas were missed during cleaning as well.
There was a small breakfast in the lobby but the bare minimum. Won’t choose to stay here again but it absolutely was not our worst hotel experience while having to hop around for a month while we waiting for our rental to finish repairs."

GGuest UserI am very grateful for the opportunity to stay this hotel, mainly because of the CCIM conference held here. However, since I registered a bit late, I wasn’t able to get the special discount. The check out service man is excellent. The staff guided and assist me, I believe this is the great example of what makes a hotel truly outstanding.

KKingHuckI recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The location was convenient, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the room was clean and comfortable. However, I was a bit disappointed with the amenities, particularly the weight room. The weight room was small and outdated, with limited equipment and not well-maintained. As someone who enjoys working out during my travels, I found the lack of quality fitness facilities to be a downside.
Despite this, I still enjoyed my stay at the hotel due to its other positive attributes. The on-site restaurant served delicious food, the complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, and the room service was prompt and efficient. If the hotel could invest in upgrading their weight room and fitness facilities, it would greatly enhance the overall guest experience. I would consider staying here again in the future, but hope to see improvements in this area.”

MM41661****This trip was mainly for a business trip and a trip to NASA, so I rented a car for the whole trip. The hotel has a parking lot and the scenery outside the window is very good, especially at sunrise. The hotel here is relatively close to the highway entrance, so I went to Houston. Very convenient and quite quiet at night. There is a self-service washing machine and a swimming pool.

EEbenezerWe stayed at Home2Suite during our last trip to Houston but it was the one at Pearland. We arrived at this one late in the night and the staff at the front desk was very friendly. However once we entered the lift, we were welcomed with a strong greasy smell. The hall way had rug that was clean but obviously old.
The major concern was the room which had a hole in the ceiling inside the toilet dripping water all over the floor. The AC also wasn’t working well that even at 19 degrees Celsius, was still warm. Initial complain to the staff was met with no vacant room, that they were fully booked. We managed for the first three days because we were outdoors most of the time. The room was later changed to a more comfortable one.
The other thing was the swimming pool. My kids really wanted to swim during our stay but the staff mentioned that some handle to the pool was broken and that it was closed.
The breakfast was also good but with little varieties to choose from.

GGuest UserThe location is ideal, in downtown Houston, a few blocks away from the convention center and discovery park. The building is beautiful and historic with a gorgeous lobby, comfortable chairs, a cafe/latte/cappuccino machine, and cute restaurant open for breakfast lunch and dinner. I was on the 12th floor in the rusk house portion of the building which had very nice rooms that were ideal for single people. There was a coffee maker but no fridge, which I did not miss. The bedding was beautiful and had daily housekeeping, nicely appointed products in the bathroom. I had a four night stay and loved everything about the space. I would highly recommend it especially considering how much cheaper it is than other hotels.

GGuest UserOverall, the hotel was good. Given Houston's reputation for safety issues, the secure, key-card accessed indoor parking garage was a significant advantage. A crucial warning: car break-ins are very common in this area, so absolutely never leave any valuables or bags in your car, even for a short period. The hotel staff were also very friendly and helpful.
