Amazing
Beautiful, peaceful location. Perfect stay for a family vacation - we had a wide age range with young children (2 and 5) and a senior (70) in our travel group. Booked the family connecting rooms. Views from the room balconies were stunning. Everyone had a great time. Staff was incredibly accommodating - both kids got sick in the car on the way up and we were able to send everything including the car seat covers to laundry when we arrived. Breakfast was delicious, room service was fast and tasty too. They have a shuttle service, but we just called taxis through Grab (~$2 one-way). Got an indulgent foot massage at Chi Spa. Only regret, wished we stayed an extra night! Would recommend with young kids to pack extra snacks and shelf stable milk as there’s no market or bodega nearby.

Positives: Immaculate service. Very warm, welcoming, friendly and personalised experience. The team takes the time to speak to each and every guest, always greeting with a smile 💕 Laundry was USD4 /kg. Very nice strong smell for the detergent. Great selection of food and wonderful ala carte breakfast buffet. Scrambled eggs were so so good! The beef soup as well 👍 Loved the house pets 💕 Location is great! Not too far from city, yet far enough for peace and quiet. Near the rice fields, amazing views and fresh air. Near the alpine coaster. Massage was great too. A lil pricey but so convenient and worth it. The overall vibe was fantastic and relaxing. Definitely coming back here again despite some of the negatives below. Negatives: Insects everywhere! On the bed too! No bed bugs, that's clean. But due to the location and how each house is built, tons of little flying insects. The mosquito net helps keep most of the insects off the bed so we kept it open over the bed. Not so much privacy as the porch and tub had direct view of another room's porch.. Might have gotten exposed once or twice... we did ask for a private room but were placed right next to the pool deck. The dining place mats were dirty and re-used. They ignored the dirty spots and just placed the utensil on the mats. I had to wipe my utensils clean and placed them over serviettes instead. Too many steps 😅 we checked in after a 2d1n hike up Fansipan so our thighs were screaming with each step up and down within the Hotel compound. Overall, definitely a 9.5/10 stay!

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to Sapa Passion Hotel and Spa. They say they aim to provide “a home away from home,” and they truly delivered on that promise. From the moment we arrived in Sapa early in the morning, the staff kindly allowed us to check in early. After an overnight sleeper train, being able to rest a little before exploring Sapa was such a blessing. As soon as we entered the room, we were amazed by its spaciousness and cleanliness, and the clear view of the lake from our window was simply beautiful. The receptionist also suggested several local activities for us, and although we couldn’t join due to the weather, we truly appreciated her thoughtful recommendations. On our departure day, we took a night bus out of Sapa, and the hotel generously let us use their bathroom to freshen up before our journey. It made our departure so much more comfortable. We felt genuinely cared for during our entire stay, and I sincerely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sapa.

DeLaSol Sapa Hotel is perched on a hillside, offering breathtaking views. On clear days, you can even see the peak of Mount Fansipan from the hotel. The rooms are spacious with large, comfortable beds and a private balcony to enjoy the scenic beauty. The amenities include a bathtub and a cozy living area, making your stay even more relaxing. The breakfast is outstanding—international style with a wide variety of options such as fresh bread, eggs, fruits, and especially delicious fresh vegetables. The hotel is within walking distance of the Fansipan cable car station, and many cafes and restaurants surround the area. One small downside is that the hotel is on a one-way street, so vehicles might need to take a detour, but the stunning views more than make up for it. It's also a stamp point for Sapa's travel stamp collection, and you can buy the stamp book right at the hotel. The hotel is located on the main street right next to the market, and about 20mins walk from the town, perfect if you are a market person. Communication with the hotel is mainly via Google translate, all requests were honoured just needed a little patience and understanding when communicating with them. There's all the basic amenities you need without frills. It's definitely a bargain to get your own room with a private toilet.
