"A good, clean, and quiet hotel. Here’s what stood out: - Fresh and clean rooms + new plumbing. - Excellent valley views (if your windows face that way). - Extremely accommodating staff (they tried to resolve issues and even allowed our friends to use the pool). - Lots of beautiful butterflies flying nearby. Things that were 50/50: - Hotel location: It's a bit far from the city center, up on a hill. This makes it quiet and free from smells, but you’ll need to take a taxi or scooter for about 7-10 minutes to get to the center. - Good breakfasts: They can make fresh scrambled eggs/omelets or soup. However, if you stay longer than 5 days, it might get repetitive. - Open and cool pool: But there might not be enough sun loungers, as there are only 6 available. - Only some of the staff spoke English. What I didn't like: - No currency exchange. - No spa. - After breakfast hours, the hotel restaurant and bar are open for orders, but half of the cocktails weren't available due to a lack of alcohol (they were out of 3 types of rum)."

For the hotel, a couple of suggestions for improvement: * The water pressure could be stronger; installing a pressure pump would make showers more comfortable. * It would be helpful to regularly check for any unpleasant smells in the bathroom to maintain overall room freshness. "The staff is friendly and helpful. It's a pretty modern looking and decent mountain view. Breakfast is also pretty decent for me. There are a couple of downsides. One BIG downside is the smell. Even before I walked into the hotel, I smelled something horrible. I ignored it as the smell disappeared as I got into the lobby. Then I smelled the same horrible smell in my bathroom. I had to keep the toilet shut and the bathroom door shut. Sometimes I smell it when I'm out on the balcony. In the hotel defense, I don't smell it all the time but most of the time. I complained to the hotel about it and they said they will fix it. Somehow the smell disappeared for several hours. Two is the hot water does not stay warm for the whole shower (one evening there was no water for 15-30 min due to the maintenance and we were not informed ahead of time and I was not in the middle of the shower so I got lucky) I'd check the other people's recent reviews to see if this smell issue is resolved until then I'd probably not come back to this place."

"We liked this hotel very much. I would like to celebrate the delicious breakfast that made our stay even more pleasant. And the restaurant at the hotel is also just wonderful! All staff were very friendly and attentive. All our requests were responded quickly and willing to help, which created a sense of concern and high level of service. Overall, the hotel was a great impression. It is clean, new and equipped with everything necessary for comfortable accommodation. The atmosphere in the hotel was very pleasant, thanks to which we felt comfortable and calm. The only thing - ask the room away from the elevator in advance - the hearing in the room through the door is strong enough."

"The owner speaks English and was very accommodating, even though he was away, he gave instructions to his brother to help with the check in ahead of time. The place has a great view, overlooking the rice fields. You have to go down some stairs from the main road, so may not be great for people with a lot of heavy luggage.The sign to the hotel is small and easy to miss but it's marked on goodle maps, so the drivers can still find it. The bathroom is shared, so it's a little dirty. The room had clean bedsheets, clean towels and complementary toiletries. Which was especially helpful because I forgot my hairbrush and they provided a little comb, a toothbrush with toothpaste and some disposable packages of shower gel. Was very happy with my stay."
