Parking is a huge problem in Dongxing during holidays, but this hotel made it easy to park and go to places like the National Gate and the pedestrian street. Xuezhen Bakery, Meng Huo Fried Chicken, and Zhongyuan Coffee are all just a few minutes' walk away! Although it's an economy chain, the rooms are quite large and have smart room control systems, especially the TV which can be directly projected onto your phone. I think unless you absolutely need a brand-name hotel like Ramada, this hotel is perfectly adequate. The hotel also has a laundry room with dryers, which is very important in a hot place like Dongxing for quickly washing and drying clothes. Furthermore, the street above Huxi River (where the Taosu brand is located) transforms into a night market at night, which is also a great place to stroll and eat!"

The Vietnamese side looked quite bustling and impressive as well. It was a really great experience. I regrettably forgot my passport this trip; for anyone going again, I highly recommend bringing it along so you can cross over to Mong Cai – I'm sure it offers a completely different vibe and experience."
