"Our stay was absolutely fantastic, on par with the excellent service we've come to expect from Shangri-La hotels in Hong Kong and Shanghai. Annie arranged our room inspection, and Jade called us a day in advance to ask about our needs, ensuring everything was perfectly prepared. As there were two adults and one child, we were delighted to find three sets of slippers and toiletries in our room – a really thoughtful touch. The welcome fruit and the nostalgic three-ring olives were a pleasant surprise. Peri provided a quick check-out and follow-up experience, making the entire stay very enjoyable. Even the housekeeping staff we met in the corridors were incredibly warm and genuine, always greeting us and exchanging pleasantries. When we requested an extra duvet, room service delivered it within just two minutes. The staff at the Horizon Club, especially a gentleman in a dark suit and a lady we met at breakfast, were exceptionally professional. The concierge team was also wonderful, always coming forward to open the car door for us whenever we arrived or departed. Our two-day stay at Shangri-La Fuzhou was simply perfect! "This hotel is probably one of the older five-star establishments in the area. Its location by West Lake is fantastic, and it's also a short walk to Sanfang Qixiang, which makes it very convenient. The hotel facilities are as expected – clean and comfortable. We booked a lake-view room and the scenery outside the window was absolutely beautiful and delightful. The next morning, I even took my family for a walk in the park, all very convenient. I also want to commend the hotel's additional services, which I think deserve a special shout-out. First, the mini-bar: arriving at the hotel hot and tired, grabbing a cold drink from the room was pure bliss! Second, the '活力早餐包' (vibrant breakfast bag) in the morning: it's easy to carry and perfectly satisfied our basic breakfast needs. Third, the airport transfer service: booking was easy, the driver arrived early, and the vehicle was a brand-new, comfortable business van. The overall experience was top-notch! Details like these really build a brand, and I'll definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Fuzhou."

"The room layout is comfortably designed with a very open bathroom area featuring double sinks. The mattress is soft, comfortable, and springy. They even provide disposable bathtub liners for soaking in the hot spring water, which really enhances the romantic atmosphere for couples. A special shout-out to Xiao Mi for her attentive and professional service; she was incredibly responsive to all our requests and proactively offered helpful services. She even kindly arranged for a late check-out to accommodate our travel plans. The room also has a separate, spacious walk-in closet, large enough for all our luggage. I highly recommend everyone to experience this place if you get the chance. Two thumbs up, very satisfied!"

"Pretty hotel in pretty old ancient buildings. Lots of high curbs in the hotel. The staffs were very helpful with our luggage. Every corner of the hotel looks pretty and photogenic. The welcome tea is nice! The hotel lobby with wooden high ceiling is so impressive and pretty. The tea rooms that we can choose to have our breakfast are pretty and aircon cooling too. The hotel room looks so much better than the pictures in their booking site. High ceiling, warm note and comes with a comfortable soothing wooden smell. The bathroom comes with ancient look door with wooden planks and in btw can be look through, but overall looks new and clean. Amazed by the bidet toilet in the ancient wooden setting. Its a good mix of modern and ancient in the most appropriate way. We almost didn't feel like leaving the hotel. Bathtub outside looks so pretty as well, especially on rainy days and early mornings, but we were worried about the mosquitos. The hotel is 1 minute away from the main shopping/touristy street, and you can get all the teas and gifts from there. Note that the hotel is located far from the main road. Nearest road side for dropoff and boarding is at the Starbucks, which sometimes seems far when you are tired and seems near when you leave the hotel for the day. About 8 mins walk away i think. There are little shops along the way as well. And the street looks super cool at night with all the lanterns along the way. As mentioned earlier, the hotel staffs gladly helped you with your luggage to the boarding point. Overall great experience! Love it!"

"I've stayed at many Atour Hotels before (Jingdezhen, Qingdao, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Shaoxing, Yangzhou...). The executive room at this Fuzhou Atour is the largest I've encountered in a city-center Atour. The room size is surprisingly generous, and the shower area is spacious and unconfining. You can even catch a glimpse of the Dongbai Center. It's just a few hundred meters walk from the subway station, and right next to Sanfang Qixiang and several shopping malls. Zhu Fugui Ji Hai Cui Jiang Tang Mo are also very close by. Upon check-out, they even gave me Fuzhou's special olives. However, there are also some drawbacks. Firstly, while the room is large, the decor is dated. Built in 2018, it's almost 10 years old now. There were even tape repair marks on the desk, which is quite unlike the Atour I remember. Surprisingly, the executive room doesn't have a mini-fridge. I know Jiumu doesn't include drinks, but previous rooms of the same configuration had a mini-fridge, just without tea or cola – this one has absolutely no mini-fridge. Noise insulation is also a common issue with all Atour hotels; if someone talks in the middle of the night or a nearby door opens, it will disturb your sleep. If you prioritize convenience for travel, aren't too particular about the newness of the room, and are a deep sleeper not easily disturbed, then this place is highly recommended for its great value for money. However, if you're a light sleeper, I'd suggest bringing your own earplugs and eye mask."

"Because I had to take the early high-speed rail, I chose this homestay nearby. The overall stay experience was very good. The real scene of the room and the picture of the platform are basically the same, there is no exaggerated publicity, and there will be no sense of gap. The sanitary details are done in place, there is no smell when entering the door, the countertops and sinks are cleaned, and the sanitary corners of the corner windowsills are also cleaned in place, and there is no dust spider web. The bathroom is dry and transparent, the water is smooth, and there is no mosquitoes seen throughout the whole process. It is very safe to live. The bedding is clean and soft, the mattress is moderately hard and soft, and it is good to relax after a day of running. The sound insulation effect is good in the apartment, quiet at night, and will not be disturbed by external noise. The location is very close to Fuzhou South Railway Station, just a few minutes by taxi, and it is especially worry-free to catch the high-speed rail. The convenience store downstairs is complete, and it is very convenient to eat and shop. The self-check-in process is simple, and if you have any questions, contact customer service to reply in time. The price is affordable and cost-effective, it is very suitable for overnight transit, and the next time you come, you will give priority to booking."

For breakfast, one day it was delivered to our room on a cart, and the other day we went to the vegetarian restaurant on B1 downstairs. Overall, it was a really great stay.
