"Best hotel in Fuzhou. Nicely located with a tranquil and peaceful environment. Service was great, especially the concierge. They are very helpful and service oriented. Every staff greet their guest whenever you enter. Room service was prompt and responsible. The West Lake view was awesome. Good for morning run and evening stroll. A lively and historical place. Places of interest were located nearby, museums, panda park, walking streets. Ample of local restaurants and stores. Local people were kind and friendly. I will stay again in this hotel for my future trips to Fuzhou."

"I initially chose another hotel, but wasn't satisfied. Then I came to Lan Ou Hotel, and it felt like a breath of fresh air. The room has a big bed and a comfortable sofa to lounge on. It's located next to a residential area, so it's super quiet at night for sleeping. They even offer Fujian local snacks for breakfast! The hotel front desk service is also very attentive; they were still actively answering questions even near midnight. I'd recommend this place to anyone flying in or just arriving in Fuzhou. Plus, it's close to a street full of delicious food. Definitely avoid hotels near the highway; they're noisy at night. In short, if you're in Fuzhou, choose Lan Ou!"

"If you're traveling to Fuzhou, I highly recommend this guesthouse! It's located within the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys, very close to the main street but surprisingly quiet. The guesthouse staff are fantastic; they proactively reached out, helped us with our luggage, and even made us three special drinks that they're planning to launch, which everyone absolutely loved 😌 The guesthouse design is beautiful and great for photos, and the rooms are clean. The mung bean soup they prepared for check-in and the daily breakfasts were also incredibly delicious 😋"

"Had a fantastic stay! The location is super convenient for getting around, and there are plenty of places to eat, drink, and shop nearby. The room was spotless, spacious, and didn't feel cramped at all. The bedding was really comfortable, and the soundproofing was great – it was very quiet. "We booked a 270° river view room. When we arrived, the previous guests had just checked out, and the front desk upgraded us to a suite directly. It was a bit of a shame, actually, because I originally wanted to book a suite when I made the reservation, specifically for the river view from that particular room. Luckily, everything else went smoothly. The elevator system in the hotel is a bit cumbersome; you have to go from the underground parking to the ground floor, then from the ground floor up to the 40th floor to check in, and then switch elevators again to go up to the 54th floor. However, there's a dedicated service for delivering food orders directly to your room. Another reason I booked this hotel was for the gym, but due to my schedule, I couldn't make it there, which was a bit disappointing. I missed out on the 'sky gym.' I didn't try the hotel breakfast, so I can't comment on its quality. The hotel's surroundings are very convenient, making it easy to get to various places. Every single staff member at the hotel is exceptionally good. No matter who it was or where they were, if they saw you carrying something, they would proactively ask and offer help. The turndown service was also excellent. Setting aside the hardware, their service awareness surpasses even the Waldorf Astoria in Xiamen. Attendant Xiao Yang's service was excellent and very thoughtful. The housekeeping auntie also had an outstanding service attitude; towel replenishment was prompt, and trash was collected in a timely manner. Really excellent. Special praise for the 'sky shower' – the water pressure was impressive. It was a very comfortable trip overall. However, there might be a significant mite problem with the hotel bedding. My baby developed rashes, which was a bit upsetting. Everything else was quite good."

"The hotel is incredibly close to Fuzhou Station. It's right outside Metro Exit D1, you don't even have to cross the road! I had a large suitcase, and I just went straight from the metro exit into the hotel. Since it's newly opened, it's genuinely super new and clean! As soon as I entered the lobby, I noticed a subtle, pleasant scent, and the decor is very comfortable, not that old-fashioned hotel style. Everything in the room was brand new, the bedding was soft and fluffy, making for a great night's sleep. The hygiene was impeccable, and there was absolutely no new renovation smell. The young lady at the front desk was also incredibly nice, with a kind and friendly attitude. Check-in was super fast, which made me feel very welcome. The breakfast was also a pleasant surprise; they even had local Fuzhou specialties! I thought the taro paste was particularly delicious, and they had Laohua too. Anyway, I didn't need to go out looking for food spots. 😂 Since I was traveling for an extended period, I needed to do laundry. The hotel has a laundry room with washing machines, dryers, and detergent, all free to use, which was very convenient. Overall, I'm very satisfied."

"The hotel is at the airport, so it is convenient if you have a morning flight. The mattress is very thin and you can feel the steel bed frame. When you move it makes a lot of noise. The fan is also very noisy and runs all the time. There is no soundproofing, so you can hear people moving and it can wake you up. The pillow and quilt also have some smell. If you are catching an early flight you can consider it. Otherwise better to spend a bit more and have a good sleep."
