"I had a wonderful stay here. Upon arrival, the front desk took us to view the rooms first and offered us a discounted upgrade. It was a fantastic deal, much cheaper than booking online, so we upgraded to a view room. The view of the 白宫, 海豚广场, and the 双子塔 was stunning! The location is perfect, surrounded by food options and right next to a mall open until 12 AM, all within walking distance to the 白宫 and 海豚广场. The only minor inconvenience is that the Huaguoyuan area has a lot of stairs, so going up and down constantly can be a bit tiring😂 The service was exceptional. One late night, the sweet female receptionist who checked me in insisted that I go sleep while she took care of my laundry. The next morning, I found she had dried and even hung my clothes up neatly! Please note that the hotel is inside a shared building. There is no hotel signage or name displayed outside the building, at least I did not see any, so you have to go inside to find it or call them if lost. Once on the correct floor, the front desk is located a bit further inside."

"First off, the staff's service attitude was really excellent; everyone I encountered was very enthusiastic. The room's mattress was super comfortable, and I slept great. The hairdryer was also good, showing a nice attention to detail. The front desk even had various emergency essentials available. However, the room rate on the weekend felt excessively high, and I didn't think the facilities quite matched the price. The elevator is shared with the hotel next door, leading to long waiting times, and the room itself was a bit small."

"The front desk staff were very polite. The hotel is located in a high-rise building, offering great views of Guiyang, including the sunrise. The only downside is that it's a bit far from the popular attractions, but a taxi ride only takes about ten minutes. The food on Minsheng Road is delicious. As for Jiaxiu Tower, I didn't find it particularly impressive; it was just too crowded."

"Big shout out to the front desk staff, especially Xiao Xiong, and the concierge team! Their service was incredibly warm and attentive. My stay at the Guizhou Hotel VIP Building was fantastic, and I really want to commend Xiao Xiong at the front desk! Check-in was efficient, Xiao Xiong was always smiling and friendly, patiently helped me coordinate my room, and tried her best to meet all my requests 👍 The concierge team also deserves a huge compliment. Their service was very proactive, helping me with sending and receiving packages, and storing my luggage. They were efficient and meticulous throughout, I didn't have to worry about a thing. The room amenities were also a big plus. The fully smart TOTO toilet with bidet function is practically a necessity for me, perfectly meeting my travel needs. During breakfast, it was a bit chaotic, possibly due to a large number of guests, and the speed of refilling dishes was slightly affected. However, the variety was great, with both local specialties and Western pastries, so I definitely ate my fill. Overall, the minor flaws didn't detract from an otherwise excellent experience."

"I had recently come on a holiday to the city and stayed here for 4 nights. The first 2 nights were well and without issue. On the last night, i was unfortunate enough to encounter a rat in my room. It had managed to escape through a hole under the sink and I was told that all rooms had this feature when I was requesting for a replacement room. Even the replacement had issues as the wifi did not have connectivity which caused their smart room functions to not work all the way till checkout. Also, rooms do not have a line to the front desk and communication with them is only through wechat. As such, it will be difficult for travelers who do not know mandarin to have a quick response to issues easily. I encountered my room key to not be able to open my room almost every afternoon and had to face the inconvenience of either going to the front desk or waiting for the staff to come up to provide a replacement key, where both options took substantial time due to the slow lifts. Also, the gym was not in a good condition and the breakfast was plain and repetitive. I have to commend the hotel staff for their positive attitude and willingness to provide assistance whenever issues arose, but I felt they were let down by the infrastructure and setup and could only be apologetic a lot of the time. It is a new hotel, so hopefully they might be able to fix these teething issues and provide future guests with a more positive experience."

"My stay was very satisfying. The room amenities were excellent, with a complete smart home system by Xiaodu, allowing me to control everything by voice, and it was very responsive. The room also had a mini-fridge, which was super handy for chilling drinks and fruits I bought when I was out. The best part was that breakfast was extended until 12 PM, so I didn't have to rush in the morning. The breakfast spread was extensive and clean. Overall, the comfort level was top-notch. It's definitely my first choice for future trips!"

"First time in Guiyang, we chose to stay in Huaguoyuan. The area is really lively, and we picked this art gallery hotel. It's not a real art gallery, but it certainly feels like one! 📍 The location is super close to the White House (the local landmark), just a few minutes' walk away, so you can enjoy the White House night view 🌃. 🏨 Every corner feels like an art exhibition, with sculptures, paintings, and designer furniture. 🛏 We even stayed in a Minion-themed room! Banana yellow colors, Minion pillows, and wall murals 💛. The attention to detail was amazing. The room featured a smart toilet and smart home control – you could just speak to turn off lights and close curtains. The bedding was comfortable, and the toiletries were high-quality. 💡 Little Tips: * I recommend visiting Huaguoyuan Wetland Park at dusk to capture the White House during 'blue hour' 🌆. The lights are on from 8 PM to 12 AM, making for great photos. * The hotel lobby and corridors are also very photogenic. Solid-colored clothing would look great there. * If you book one day in advance, the hotel offers a complimentary pick-up or drop-off service to/from the station or airport once!
