GGuest UserThere are two resort hotels in Qingyan Ancient Town, one is Holiday Inn and the other is Holiday Inn Express. When traveling, I always give priority to Holiday Inn, after all, the quality is there. I have stayed in Holiday Inn and Express in other cities, and generally there is only Express in second-tier cities.
This time I stayed in Holiday Inn, which was a bit disappointing. The hotel environment and service quality still meet the Holiday Inn standards, including the parking lot downstairs, which is still relatively bright. However, the shortcomings are also obvious.
1. The room is very small, and the bathroom is also very small. The size of the room is about the same level as the Holiday Inn Express I stayed in before (the supporting balcony occupies too much area). In the bathroom, two people can't turn around at all. One person blows his hair, and the other person has a narrow path to pass!
2. The shower water is super small! ! Originally in Xijiang Hotel, the water was big and not too hot. I wanted to stay in Holiday Inn to take a good shower and relax. The bath water is really unimaginable, and it is comparable to a solar water heater.
3. The breakfast is not good. One feature of Holiday Inn is that there will be one or more local delicacies for breakfast. Qingyan Holiday, breakfast is marked as ”Ciba Porridge (I think this is the name)”, but I asked the restaurant staff and they confirmed that there is no such thing! After walking around, the dishes are also available, but there are only a few varieties, which are slightly better than the Express. The price is 100+, which is actually not worth it.
If I come to Qingyan next time, I may stay at the Express. The price difference of 400 is obviously not much improvement.

GGuest UserWhen you can't find the way up, the front desk will pick you up in person and help with luggage. It is very enthusiastic. Check-in will send the boss's recommended food, attractions and citywalk routes. The boss also raised a puppy, especially cute and docile, fragrant, and will wagging his tail enthusiastically when he sees customers. The room is large, the lighting is very bright, there are many sockets, the room has no smell, and the toilet is very clean. The room is fully intelligent, the projector is very easy to use, and it is also equipped with a lot of disposable supplies. You can tell the boss if you need it. There is also a very comfortable rest place and laundry room. The location is also very good, a few minutes away is the subway station and bus station, there is a big shopping mall, it is very convenient to travel, sleep at night will not be very noisy. In short, it is a very satisfying trip accommodation!

GGuest UserThis was my first time visiting Qingyan Ancient Town. After searching through many guesthouses, I finally decided to book Qingyan Mingxian Mountain Residence. Upon arriving at the parking lot at the west gate of Qingyan Ancient Town, the owner picked us up in a tricycle. He gave us a pass to enter the town; showing it at the gate meant we didn't need to buy tickets if we stayed inside Qingyan Ancient Town. His house was just a few dozen meters from the west gate, a right turn, and we arrived quickly! The guesthouse courtyard was charmingly decorated, with many flowers and plants, two small tables, and eight or nine bamboo chairs—perfect for chatting and relaxing. The owner upgraded our room; we stayed on the first floor opposite, which was very convenient and thoughtful. It was easy to explore Qingyan Ancient Town from the guesthouse; we easily visited almost all the attractions. The owner recommended a local specialty, Luoguo hotpot, for dinner. It was dry, fragrant, and flavorful—the most popular meal of the trip! When we left, the owner again helped us with our luggage in his tricycle. There are many guesthouses in Qingyan Ancient Town. Next time I go, I will still choose Mingxian Mountain Guesthouse again! This time I booked two rooms.

GGuest UserMy stay exceeded expectations. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The front desk staff were warm and professional, making check-in efficient, and room service was prompt. The location is convenient, with plenty of amenities nearby. The value for money is outstanding, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip.

惠惠youngFinding the hotel might be a bit tricky for foreigners, but the owner sent detailed directions with photos, so it wasn't a problem. The room was comfortable, like home. There was no reception, so I couldn't meet the owner, but She contacted me directly via WeChat, so it wasn't inconvenient at all. I booked a two-night stay, and on the second night, She hung all the necessary items on the doorknob. There was even a washing machine and an umbrella. I was impressed by the thoughtful consideration. Thanks to her.The location was great, within walking distance, and there were plenty of delicious restaurants just outside the hotel building. I had a comfortable two-night stay.

SSummer_nannan本來沒有抱希望的、因為我們到的很晚，本來打算是湊合一晚，然而沒想到啊。服務 景色 真的太美了。老闆一直在等我們 到晚上11點，由於當天下雨 很冷。到了房間提前還給我們開好了空調，放了一壺燒好的熱水。好温暖啊。好感拉滿啊
第二天早上給我們燒了熱騰騰的雞湯麪條，這都不算，我們帶孩子，帶我們去爬了衹有當地人才知道的一個瀑布，科普了野蘑菇，還有看到了美麗壯觀的美景，謝謝老闆康哥！我真的還會再來，這次給了我驚喜👍 贊爆了！民宿門口就是美麗的河流！來了不後悔系列！

AAnonymous UserThis is the 12th hostel I've stayed at in China, and I spent 6 days here during my Guizhou trip. It's a place with very clear pros and cons.
Pros:
1. Convenient location: It's within walking distance of Qingyun Market, the Ethnic Minorities Museum is just across the street, there's a Walmart right by the subway entrance for supplies, and a really good massage place in the Broadcast and Television Compound.
2. Fair price: The rates didn't even increase during a concert period.
3. Responsive host: The host was always accommodating and quick to respond.
Cons:
1. Small space: Both the 4-bed dorm room and the bathroom/shower area were very cramped. No wet/dry separation. Due to the small space, there are no lockers inside the room; they are in the main hall.
2. General hygiene: It was just okay. For example, under the mattresses, there were countless 'treasures' left by previous guests, and there were always hairs in the sink.
3. Public areas: No curfew and no smoking ban.
Suggestions for the owner:
1. When guests check in, the host could briefly introduce the common area facilities, such as the laundry room and where the lockers are.
2. The hot/cold labels on the shower faucet in the women's bathroom are completely reversed. Please fix them or put up a clear sign on the wall. Also, regularly inspect and maintain all facilities.
3. Some mattresses are too thin, like lying on a board, while others are too thick, making it hard to sit up straight without hitting your head when getting in and out of bed. The mattresses vary between beds. I suggest replacing them all with a moderate thickness.
4. There are gaps around the edges of the mattresses where things can easily fall. Please check around the mattresses for any lost 'treasures' after guests check out.
5. Implement rules for public areas, such as no loud music or shouting after a certain hour.

JjesspengWas a bit of a confusing experience. The elevator only went up to the third floor, but since our room was on the fourth floor, we had to walk up a flight of stairs every time. This was quite annoying since we had heavy luggage, and no help was offered by the staff. Only provides 1 room key per room so keep that in mind. The listing also advertises the double bed room to have a city view window but we did not have that. Also, the walls are quite thin so you can hear other people talking, walking, etc. Cool thing is this hotel has an indoor gym, as well as a patio for you to enjoy! They also provide tea and other small goodies in the lobby!

Jjessica庄思嘉I think this place deserve 4++ stars at least. if you're looking for a low price homestay with a decent room and location, this place is for you. The one who owns the homestay is a super nice person, he was trying his best to fulfill our needs.
This place is near to Shachong lu station exit A , which is just one station away from guiyang railway station , super easy access to foods and tourist attractions.
For this price, I don't have anything to complain really, worth the price !
There's a small bbq cafe opened by the boss one the 5th floor, the environment is quite nice, especially the lemon drinks made by the boss, super refreshing !
