LLexielilyThis was not an ordinary hotel stay. It became something I will remember for the rest of my life.
I arrived at the airport after unexpectedly injuring my ankle earlier that day and had no idea how serious it was or what to do next. I booked this hotel last minute, and from the moment I contacted them, everything changed. The team immediately arranged a car to pick me up from the airport, and I was met with such kindness, care, and professionalism that I felt safe right away.
When I arrived, they provided a wheelchair for me and allowed me to keep it overnight. They thoughtfully placed me in a more accessible room, helped with my luggage, and continuously checked in to make sure I had everything I needed. This all happened late at night, yet the level of attention and warmth never wavered.
What truly stood out was how every single staff member treated me. Each time I spoke with someone, they sincerely said to call if I needed anything, and they meant it. It felt like the entire team knew about my situation and was looking out for me. As a first-time traveler in China and an English speaker, I was honestly quite scared, but they went out of their way to make sure I never felt alone or overwhelmed.
At one point, multiple staff members even came up to my room to check on me in person and ask if I needed anything. They made sure I ate and brought me a warm meal, and I can genuinely say those were the most comforting, soul-filling noodles I had during my trip.
In the morning, they kindly offered me a late checkout until 2 p.m., again reminding me to reach out for anything at all. When it was time to leave, they made the process completely seamless. A member of the reception team personally escorted me by golf cart to the airport, helped communicate with airport staff, and ensured I received a wheelchair for my onward journey. I did not have to think or worry about a single step.
This level of care goes far beyond standard hospitality. It reflects a truly exceptional team. Every person I encountered was kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in my wellbeing.
I want to extend my deepest thanks to everyone working that day for taking such incredible care of me. You turned what could have been a very stressful and frightening experience into something warm, safe, and deeply human. This is a world-class team and a shining example of what hospitality should be.
I am so grateful and will absolutely stay with this hotel again. Thank you for everything.

GGuest UserThis was a pet friendly hotel so finding a bug, one that looked similar to a bed bug, in the room was not nice. Given I was on level 50+ I am not sure if the bug came from outside or inside. It was dead by the time I found it.
I was tired so I didn’t change rooms. Didn’t see any more bugs or get bitten though so perhaps was a one off.
I could hear my neighbour’s chat to the extent that I could hear their every word as if someone was speaking to me across the table as far as sound proofing goes.
Other than this the amenities for the hotel was actually really good and the hotel was really homely because of the amenities such as the microwave and sink. Many drawers and clothing closet was all a massive plus. The location of this place was also really good that was why I stayed here. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I stayed specifically for a music festival, and the location was a significant advantage, making travel to and from the venue quick and easy. The room layout was well-designed, and the soundproofing was excellent; even after a late night out, I could instantly unwind upon returning. The service was meticulous, from check-in to check-out, everything was smooth with no waiting. Guest Manager Stacey provided excellent service! 👍 The hardware facilities were well-maintained, and details like the bathroom and bedding all reflected five-star standards. Definitely worth a five-star recommendation!

Location is quite far from places of attraction.
Problem is with checking in procedure.
We booked 2 X 1.5m beds which is of a higher price as we have 3 pax. When checking in, we found the room allocated to us was 2 X 1.35m instead.
We then went to the reception to request to get the room we paid for.
Instead they say we booked the 2 X 1.35m bed, even though the booking on our app shows it so 2 X 1.5m
Reception then say they will upgrade us. And gave us 2 X 1.5m
Although problem resolved but this is incorrect because we were given the wrong room from the start. And then they claim to upgrade us. It is their mistake at the start but yet it was twisted to become them upgrading us.

GGuest UserAlthough this trip was planned for Jianglu, choosing Anantara for our layover in Guiyang was definitely the right decision. The environment is lovely, and the hotel has a distinct Thai feel. The buffet offered great value for money, and the breakfast was so extensive we ate until we were stuffed every time. Even with the holiday crowds, the service kept up well. I think when evaluating something, you also have to consider its price. For a hotel in a provincial capital during the May Day holiday, this performance at this price is absolutely worth a second visit.

Service: The receptionist was very pretty and provided excellent service. She proactively helped with our luggage, was incredibly helpful, and gave us a map of the surrounding area, including local eateries and attractions. She even sent us her location so we wouldn't get lost. Most importantly, she upgraded us to a super large room; entering the hotel felt like coming home! The staff were incredibly friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. The room was also very clean and hygienic. The receptionist deserves a big thumbs up! 👍

CcdaisyThe hotel entrance is right at the entrance of Qingyun Road Pedestrian Street. Once you get your bearings, you can cut through from the convenience store on the other side, which makes the location quite good and very convenient. However, I'm not a fan of hotels that rent several floors in a high-rise building because anyone can go up. While there's a security gate at the front desk, it has nothing to do with the elevators, so what's the point of it?
The room itself was well-equipped and new, but I fault myself for not checking carefully when booking – it had no windows. If that's something you care about, definitely pay attention, as this room type is also quite small. The cleanliness needs improvement; I found small bugs three times, and one even crawled out of the tissue box.
The service was decent; the front desk staff was particularly enthusiastic when I checked in.

Jjessica庄思嘉I think this place deserve 4++ stars at least. if you're looking for a low price homestay with a decent room and location, this place is for you. The one who owns the homestay is a super nice person, he was trying his best to fulfill our needs.
This place is near to Shachong lu station exit A , which is just one station away from guiyang railway station , super easy access to foods and tourist attractions.
For this price, I don't have anything to complain really, worth the price !
There's a small bbq cafe opened by the boss one the 5th floor, the environment is quite nice, especially the lemon drinks made by the boss, super refreshing !
