We could sleep in and still catch breakfast, as it's served until 12:30 PM, so no more choosing between a lie-in and a good meal. The service was great too. It's right next to a subway station, making it really convenient to get to Qianling Mountain, Jiaxiu Tower, and even Guiyang North Station."

"Staying at the new Atour Light (Version 3.3) in Guiyang completely changed my perception of mid-range hotels with its overall quality and meticulous service. It's perfect for business travelers and young tourists. The public areas feature a refreshing sky blue minimalist design, complete with an iconic wave-patterned large screen and an 'island' check-in map. Coupled with the 24-hour 'floating' bookstore, the ambiance is fantastic. The 'blue-shirted' front desk staff were incredibly gentle and attentive, and the 'boarding pass' room key ritual was a delightful touch. The room layout is very well-planned, and the soundproofing is excellent – even facing the street, it's completely quiet. It comes standard with the Atour Planet deep-sleep mattress and pillows that are just the right softness, along with sunset mood lighting, making for an incredibly comfortable rest. The bathroom has a wet/dry separation, the rain shower has abundant water pressure, and the toiletries are from the Jo Loves fragrance series. The vanity includes cosmetic storage compartments, which is super convenient for women to organize their makeup. All kinds of amenities are provided, and you can even get complimentary sleep aids and disposable care products. The facilities are incredibly practical: the 24-hour self-service laundry and drying room is always available. Breakfast is served until 10 AM, with a rich variety of Chinese and Western options, so you don't have to rush even if you sleep in. If you miss breakfast, you can even order a 'breakfast blind box' delivered to your room. The whole place is clean and odor-free, with smart room controls and a fully stocked mini-bar. It offers excellent value for money and is my top choice for accommodation when traveling. I'll definitely choose this new 3.3 Light version again next time I'm here. Highly, highly recommend it to my friends!!!!!!"

All facilities were brand new and fully equipped, with smart controls for lighting and curtains, and high-quality toiletries. "The hotel boasts an excellent location, directly across from Wenchang Pavilion, with plenty of dining options nearby and easy access to taxis. It's newly opened and very clean, maintaining Atour's consistent style. It's been the rainy season in Guizhou lately, and I had to change my itinerary by one day. Although Ctrip had confirmed the change, the front desk informed me their system couldn't process it. So, I had to cancel and rebook, which cost me an extra hundred yuan. The front desk staff upgraded my room and even gave me a souvenir when I checked out. Their service was excellent. For anyone traveling, especially if your plans are uncertain, I'd recommend booking one night at a time – it makes changes much easier to handle."

"Shoyu Hotel (Minsheng Road Food Street Branch) - An unexpectedly perfect experience! This stay was at the Shoyu Hotel, newly opened in '26, and I simply have to give it a huge thumbs-up! Even though it's a new hotel, there was absolutely no renovation smell, which was incredibly reassuring. You can tell they put a lot of effort into ventilation and environmental protection. The hotel itself is very high-end, and the room was unbelievably comfortable! What impressed me most were the exceptionally high ceilings and the large floor-to-ceiling windows. The natural light was fantastic, creating an amazing sense of space. It really brightened my mood just being there. The service was also top-notch throughout. The front desk always had a free coffee machine and tea available, and the self-service laundry room was very convenient and clean. Breakfast is from 7 am to 10 am with a wide variety of options. The biggest surprise was that this morning the hotel specially delivered hand-ground coffee – it smelled amazing and was both heartwarming and stomach-warming! The location is also excellent, right next to Minsheng Road Food Street, making it super convenient to grab a bite. All in all, whether it's the facilities, cleanliness, or service, I couldn't find a single fault. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting this area, and I will definitely be back next time!"

"I had recently come on a holiday to the city and stayed here for 4 nights. The first 2 nights were well and without issue. On the last night, i was unfortunate enough to encounter a rat in my room. It had managed to escape through a hole under the sink and I was told that all rooms had this feature when I was requesting for a replacement room. Even the replacement had issues as the wifi did not have connectivity which caused their smart room functions to not work all the way till checkout. Also, rooms do not have a line to the front desk and communication with them is only through wechat. As such, it will be difficult for travelers who do not know mandarin to have a quick response to issues easily. I encountered my room key to not be able to open my room almost every afternoon and had to face the inconvenience of either going to the front desk or waiting for the staff to come up to provide a replacement key, where both options took substantial time due to the slow lifts. Also, the gym was not in a good condition and the breakfast was plain and repetitive. I have to commend the hotel staff for their positive attitude and willingness to provide assistance whenever issues arose, but I felt they were let down by the infrastructure and setup and could only be apologetic a lot of the time. It is a new hotel, so hopefully they might be able to fix these teething issues and provide future guests with a more positive experience."

"This is a hotel I'd recommend to friends. The pros are: (1) It's close to the high-speed rail station and easy to get a taxi from. There's a shopping mall and the Erqi snack street downstairs. (2) The staff are all excellent; they greet you warmly whenever they see you, and there were welcome fruits on the day I checked in. (3) The rooms are relatively new and clean. (4) There's a parking lot right downstairs, which is great for those driving. If I had to suggest an improvement, it would be that the room was very dry during my stay, to the point where I'd wake up feeling hot and parched. It would be even better if humidifiers were provided."
