"I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this homestay and can recommend it wholeheartedly. From the very beginning, the hospitality was exceptional. The owner picked me up from the railway station, which was included in the price. Even more impressively, they also drove me back to the station when I left, completely free of charge and purely out of kindness. When I realized that I had accidentally booked a room with a tatami mattress that was too firm for my liking, they immediately offered me an upgrade to a different room for free. The owner went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable throughout my stay. She provided all the information I needed, was always happy to help and even invited me to join them for a meal. Her English is excellent, which made communication effortless and made me feel especially welcome as an international traveler. The homestay itself was clean, comfortable and well-equipped, but what truly sets this place apart is the warmth, kindness and generosity of the hosts. They made me feel less like a customer and more like a guest in their home. Thank you for such a memorable experience. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"Let me start by saying: I highly recommend this guesthouse, it's perfect for families traveling with children! The guesthouse is right in the center of the village, making it incredibly convenient to get everywhere. If the kids get tired while playing, you can return to the room to rest at any time. Compared to staying outside the village, this saves a huge amount of time going back and forth, making family trips so much less stressful. Vehicles can't enter the Dong village, so the hotel arranged a shuttle service in sections. Staff helped carry all our luggage throughout, so we didn't have to worry about a thing, which was a very pleasant surprise. I initially thought it was just an ordinary guesthouse, but after staying, I felt the quality was on par with many five-star hotels. You could tell from every small detail that the owner has very high standards for quality. The hairdryer was a Dyson, and every piece of welcome fruit in the room was delicious, even the apples were small New Zealand apples. The fruit forks weren't just ordinary toothpicks; they came with delicate kiwi-shaped accessories. Little touches were everywhere. The tissues, slippers, and toiletries provided in the room were also of excellent quality. Breakfast started at 8 AM. While the variety wasn't extensive, every dish was meticulously prepared, and the ingredients were top-notch. I especially recommend the beef noodles; the beef was butchered fresh that day, ensuring maximum freshness. We're from Guangdong and are typically picky about food standards, but this place completely satisfied us, and the staff were very friendly to children. The room's cleanliness was impeccable, exceeding our expectations. Even the children's slippers were so clean that we momentarily thought they were complimentary. The bedding was also very comfortable. The room even came with a washer-dryer and laundry disinfectant, solving the problem of washing dirty clothes when traveling with kids – truly thoughtful. After checking in, we upgraded to Room 310, a two-story Loft with two beds, and the view was absolutely stunning. Key point: you *must* try this room! Lying in bed, all you see is lush greenery. Stepping onto the balcony, there's a sense of openness as the houses below gradually recede, and you're greeted by vibrant green all around – a fantastic experience. The room also had a large bathtub by the window, where you could soak while enjoying the beautiful scenery outside, very relaxing. The service from the staff made us feel truly at home. While most guesthouses contact guests a day in advance, they proactively created a group two days prior to coordinate our itinerary. They actively reminded us of various services, even thoughtfully informing us about afternoon tea so we wouldn't miss it. The hotel also had special Dong Big Song performances, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the ethnic minority culture without having to jostle with crowds in the village. This trip completely exceeded our expectations. When we left, we genuinely felt a sense of reluctance. Interacting with the staff, you could truly feel that everyone genuinely runs this guesthouse; each staff member treats it as their own home, making the stay experience particularly warm."

"The owner is incredibly kind. We arrived past 11 PM, and they were still waiting for us, picked us up, and helped us with our luggage. We were so touched! The guesthouse scenery is absolutely stunning; the back window overlooks a beautiful rice field. You can even eat meals at the restaurant under a parasol by the rice fields. The guesthouse breakfast is simple, refreshing, and delicious. They also offer free coffee that you can brew yourself. The room was clean, and all the amenities, including toiletries, were well-stocked. Many guesthouses don't provide hand soap, which is inconvenient, but this place had everything, even laundry detergent for delicates. The room was also very spacious. Absolutely fantastic! 👍"

"Facilities: All necessary amenities are present, but the room window couldn't be closed properly, leading to drafts. After showering, a sewage smell emerged from the bathroom. After discussing it, we were moved to a different room. Cleanliness: The balcony was made of openwork and was dirty, so we couldn't use it. Environment: The location and management are decent. Service: We added them on WeChat, and they were generally responsive and helpful with any issues. Good service. High-speed rail station pickup/drop-off service: Contact them in advance; this service is excellent. Zhaoxing Scenic Area-hotel shuttle bus: Just tell the front desk downstairs, and it departs – very convenient."

"房間非常滿意，一起來就可以看到綠油油的稻田，房間非常乾淨，乾濕分離，離主路不遠，不在主路上又不會嘈雜，非常安靜，媽媽住過很多民宿，就對這家民宿讚不絕口，而且還想再來。侗寨是我希望能再次去的地方，商業化不是很濃，老闆是本地人，非常實在，去年因為我的疏忽過了入住時間，還是把房費退還給了我，這次入住來車站接的，還把行李搬上搬下，升級了房間，給我們了很好的入住體驗。晚上可以看下民俗表演，從老闆那拿票會便宜些，我們看得村民版，覺得值得一看，去堂安梯田也可以在老闆這拿票，非常方便。民宿門口有山泉水，走不遠就有車站，可以坐免費接駁車，到哪都非常方便，住這家民宿給了我和家人非常好的侗寨體驗"

"Five-star rave for this B&B! We drove to the scenic area entrance, and after walking to a designated spot, the B&B sent a car to pick us up. The location is excellent, with great views of the village, and it's not noisy at all, making coming and going very convenient. It's just a short walk to the main street for dining. The coffee and fruit at the B&B were also fantastic. Most importantly, the ladies working at the B&B had incredibly good service attitudes; they even waved goodbye to us as we drove off. This is a highly recommended B&B, definitely worth revisiting Zhaoxing Dong Village just for this place!"

The owner confirmed the time with us beforehand, and we saw her waiting as soon as we exited the station. She also helped us with our luggage the whole time and patiently explained some tips for exploring the Dong village – so thoughtful! The guesthouse was conveniently located, not far from the main street. The owner was always available by phone, and the place was quiet at night. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the bedding was great. The owner even gave us some fresh, sweet bayberries from her own orchard. There was absolutely no commercialized atmosphere; it felt like visiting relatives. This was the most comfortable stay of my trip. Great value for money, and the service was genuine. "The room was rustic with a wooden scent, exuding a natural charm, yet the hygiene was surprisingly good, which is quite remarkable, especially considering it's a mountainous area inhabited by ethnic minorities. We, from Guangzhou, found it more comfortable and quieter than hotels in big cities. Although we could occasionally hear footsteps in the wooden house, it had a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. Overall, it was a great place. The disposable amenities were complete, and the air conditioning was surprisingly quiet. From the room, we could see the entire Dong village gate and terraced fields. We brought our middle school-aged child for two nights, and we felt completely relaxed. Our child fell in love with the place and asked when we could settle down here! We were a bit rushed when we left and almost missed our high-speed train, but the owner kindly helped us arrange a shuttle bus, saying it would run every five minutes. We made it just in time. Overall, the room was very clean, quiet, and rustic. The occasional sounds from the wooden structure weren't noisy at all in such an environment. The higher price was justified."
