Right outside, there's a lakeside promenade where you can rent electric scooters to explore nearby attractions and capture some great photos."

"I booked a designer hotel right by the lake in Daluoshui Village this time. The butler contacted me in advance to arrange my check-in, and there was a dedicated car to pick me up from the entrance of Daluoshui Village. The hotel is very new, the room had no strange odors, and the amenities were quite comprehensive. The butler, Zhaxi Yangge, provided warm and thoughtful service, and even gave me a souvenir when I left. P.S. The scenery was incredible all three days I was here, and coupled with the hotel's exceptional service, this trip to Lugu Lake was absolutely worth it!"

A 'transitional option' at just 193 yuan a night for a mist and lake view king room, it unexpectedly became the most heartwarming anchor point of my entire trip, truly helping me understand the slow pace and beauty of Lugu Lake. I arrived at the hotel in the early hours of the morning. As the car drove into the narrow lanes of Luoshui Shang Village, the outside noise gradually faded, leaving only the gentle lapping of the lake against the shore. The hotel's exterior exuded a minimalist, forest-like quality, devoid of overly commercialized, flashy designs. Instead, it felt like a small courtyard nestled between the lake and mountains, quiet and relaxing. During check-in, the staff's warmth instantly melted away my travel fatigue. There was no rigid, formalized service; instead, they greeted me with the familiarity of an old friend, offered local herbal tea, and even shared the best spot to watch the sunrise the next day. They thoughtfully marked out lesser-known walking trails nearby – every detail spoke of genuine care. Pushing open the room door, I was immediately stunned by the view. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling window directly faced Lugu Lake, the water like a crumpled sapphire. Gamu Goddess Mountain shimmered in and out of view amidst the mist, and the evening glow painted the lake surface a warm orange, with even the wind carrying the crisp scent of the lake. The table thoughtfully provided bottled water and local specialty snacks, and even a humidifier was pre-arranged, perfectly addressing the issue of the high-altitude dryness. But the most healing part was the morning. I was awakened at dawn by sounds from outside the window. Drawing back the curtains, I saw the morning mist gently drifting across the lake like a veil, with distant islands appearing and disappearing within it. It doesn't rely on flashy gimmicks, but rather uses clean rooms, attentive service, and breathtaking lake views to allow every guest to feel the gentle embrace of Lugu Lake. After this trip, my friend and I agreed that next time we visit Lugu Lake, we must stay here again. It's like a utopia hidden in the lake's light – not noisy, not deliberate, yet it welcomes every distant traveler with the most relaxed demeanor. If you're looking for a place to find peace in Lugu Lake, Anxia Mountain & Lake will definitely not disappoint."

"Lugu Lake in the off-season is simply a dream come true! No filters needed, these are straight-from-the-camera shots, and this hotel was such a pleasant surprise! Both the public areas and the rooms have large floor-to-ceiling windows directly facing the lake, making you feel like you're right in a painting – so incredibly relaxing! The hotel I picked this time was super convenient, and the terrace was fantastic for photos (P8). There are also plenty of great spots for pictures just outside the hotel, and it's easily walkable to many places. When you're tired from exploring, it's so therapeutic to come back, have afternoon tea in your room, watch the sunset over the lake, and just daydream by the window. The room itself was really spacious, with a balcony, and as soon as you opened the door, you could see the lake. There was also a mini-fridge with drinks and snacks. The bedding felt very comfortable too; I slept incredibly soundly! I'm genuinely, very, very satisfied! Make sure to book a lake view! Breakfast and everything else were also excellent! I'll definitely be back!"

"We were a group of four adults, including an elderly person, and stayed in a family room with a lake view. I have to say, the pillows were incredibly comfortable – not too soft, but with good support. The front desk also gave us complimentary breakfast, and the rice noodles were delicious, with plenty of toppings and options. The room had a washing machine and a direct drinking water tap. The room key and electricity card were separate, so power wasn't cut off when we left. We were even helped with our luggage into the room, and there was an adorable golden retriever lazily lounging around."

"Location of the hotel is perfect for anyone visiting lugu lake. Imagine waking up to the view of the lake and mountains. The hotel is also fairly new with beautiful deco and they have prepared many thoughtful things include disposable towels, disposable bath tub towel, free daily afternoon tea and a short photoshoot. The front desk staff 阿文was also very helpful. A couple of things I wished went better: - breakfast: selection was quite limited and mainly Chinese food. Was not an issue for me as I typically don’t take breakfast. - limited toilet paper: unfortunately my husband and I were down with food poisoning during the trip so the toilet paper quickly became a scarcity. - inconsistent temperature in the shower: the shower on my first night toggled between icy cold and steamy hot even without me adjusting the temperature. Overheard from other guests that they had the same issue as well. The hotel thankfully was able to fix it on my second night. - mattress was too hard, and it felt like I was sleeping directly on the floor… unfortunately the hotel didn’t have an option to add on a topper and it really affected my sleep quality during the two nights we were there. However, preference for a softer mattress is personal. Would have been nice if the hotel has toppers prepared for guests who prefer a softer bed. Overall, it was still a pleasant experience and I’d recommend for anyone visiting lugu lake."

"Lugu Lake still feels quite untouched and not overly commercialized, with fewer crowds. This particular B&B, Shui Tian Yi She in Daluoshui Village, is excellent! [Strong recommendation] The room was spotless, even the sofa cushions in the living room were impeccably clean! It faces Lugu Lake and Gemu Goddess Mountain directly, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing, dining, and entertainment. The staff at the B&B were all very kind. As soon as we entered the backyard after a day out, someone would come out to greet us, offer an umbrella, or ask if we needed a late-night snack or afternoon tea. They were very enthusiastic about helping with travel planning or arranging boat rentals, and the boat prices were reasonable. The room rates were also very good; our duplex room was 488 a night, and I felt it was even more comfortable than some rooms costing over a thousand! Families with children would love this type of room; even my 'big kid' son enjoyed playing games in the ball pit under the slide. Plus, there are three adorable cats at the property, and one of them loved coming into our room to play [chuckle]. Oh, and in the evenings, you can enjoy free live music with singing and guitar at the front desk bar."

"The biggest highlight of this guesthouse is its lakeside location. Step two meters out the door and you're right by Lugu Lake. Sitting by the lake, sipping tea or coffee, or just staring off into space – I never wanted to leave, which is why I'm a repeat guest. We booked the family suite, which has an amazing lake-view balcony and a spacious living room with massive glass windows overlooking the lake. The room itself is very roomy, and the family suite even has two separate bathrooms with wet/dry separation, making it incredibly comfortable. I also want to commend the guesthouse's service team; the young staff drove us, proactively helped with luggage, and even brought refreshments to our room. Their service attitude was fantastic! Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and you could always ask for more if needed. Highly recommended! 👍"

"Fantastic experience! The lake view room offers stunning views of Lugu Lake right from the window. Waking up to the sunrise every morning was absolutely beautiful 🥰. The room itself is quite spacious and comfortable. I stayed for 4 nights, and every day included breakfast and afternoon tea – very enjoyable. The owner was incredibly accommodating and always met our requests 👍. Even the driver they arranged for us provided excellent service."

"Coming here to play in spring is really great. The hotel is in Xiaoluoshui Village, right by the lake. All the flowers are blooming here, it's very beautiful, the sun is nice, and the climate is pleasant. The hotel breakfast was decent, the room was relatively clean, and the duvet and sheets on the bed were quite comfortable, and the pillows were good too."
