No regrets for booking this hotel. Very well kept with full amenities, most importantly beautiful scenery just outside the windows. Even we booked for 2 singles bedded room, but the size of beds can easily fit 4 adults or Good option for family of 4. The hotel also provided simple tea break after check in and supper before 10pm. All of us enjoyed the stay. Strongly recommended if one preferred a quiet place to recharge. So much more serenity compared to Daluosui.

As part of our 9-day self-drive trip in Yunnan, me and my wife visited the Lake Lu Gu last week and stayed two nights at the Torre De Marfil Hotel. All hardwares and softwares of the hotel were up to our entire satisfaction. Every little detail of the hotel facilities, whether in the rooms or in the public areas, has been carefully designed and properly maintained. The full and unblocked lakeview, which can be seen directly through the hotel room window, was magnificent and unforgettable. As we were told, most of the hotel personnel are native Mosuo people. We were deeply impressed by the enthusiasm shown by all of them, especially Xiao Zhang at the Reception Desk, in their works. Without any exception, they responded proactively and efficiently to all our requests. They voluntarily helped us bring our heavy luggages to and from the carpark while explaining to us the unusual marriage traditions followed by the Mosuo Tribe. Breakfasts were provided in individual sets instead of buffets. We were particularly impressed by their presentations, tastes and varieties, which were so much better than what we had in those bigger hotels we had stayed in Dali and Lijiang. Free dessert soups were served and brought to the rooms every evening, which to us were a big surprise! We 100% enjoyed our stay in Torre De Marfil and would definitely recommend it to anyone who happens to be visiting Lu Gu.

The hospitality was amazing. The staff are highly attentive and they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The space is minimalistic and highly aesthetic. The views are breathtaking. Food was amazing. The hotel provided great facilities including a laundry room which was super convenient. Commonly used amenities were available.

This was a truly quiet and serene stay at Lugu Lake. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the lake view felt like a perfectly framed photograph — calm, still, and right in front of you. It was lovely strolling down to the lake, and an easy 20–30 minute walk from the lake into Lugu town. E-scooters are available for rent, though walking was honestly just as enjoyable. The hotel facilities were excellent, with so much thought put into the little details — bath bombs, snacks, eye masks — all spotless and well-maintained. The staff were warm and lovely, and they also make a really good cup of coffee. Breakfast was a highlight: comforting mushroom soup noodles, healthy steamed buns, eggs, and other simple but delicious dishes. And to top it all off, there’s an adorable resident cat. A peaceful, well-considered stay that felt both cosy and memorable.

I had a wonderful stay at 慕鱼, and I would strongly recommend it to anyone visiting Lugu Lake. The hotel is tastefully designed, with every corner beautifully decorated and thoughtfully curated. I was pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to a lake-view room, and the room cleanliness was absolutely top-notch. The view is truly stunning — there is an unobstructed, direct view of Lugu Lake, and 蒗放码头 is located right in front of the hotel, making the location incredibly convenient. At night, I could see a sky full of stars directly from my room, which felt truly magical. Every detail in the room felt well considered and intentional. The room was also very comfortable in winter, with floor heating and a Dyson hair dryer, which made a huge difference during the colder days. During afternoon tea time, the hotel served a lovely afternoon tea set, and sitting in the backyard while enjoying the lake view became one of the most relaxing and memorable moments of my entire trip. Upon checkout, the staff thoughtfully prepared breakfast to go and gifted me some souvenirs, which was a very warm and touching gesture. They also helped recommend a reliable driver who took me back to Dali in a comfortable 9-seater car, making the journey smooth and stress-free. The owner is a beautiful and kind lady, and her dog Lucky, an adorable corgi, is an absolute delight. The staff were all genuinely friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, 慕鱼 offers beautiful design, breathtaking views, thoughtful service, and a truly relaxing experience. I would absolutely love to return.

I met two lovely friends, Sixteen and Seventeen. The owner of a homestay with both cats and dogs should be very happy. The overall sanitary environment is very good. It is a one-minute walk from Lugu Lake and very close to the Rig Peninsula. I saw two red envelopes on the bed when I just checked into the room. The very attentive store manager also prepared souvenirs, which are Yunnan tea leaves. He helped to take the luggage to the room. Their breakfast was also delicious. The store manager also prepared coffee and afternoon tea. The overall stay was very good. The room is smart, and Xiao Ai solves everything! A homestay that made my trip to Lugu Lake very comfortable and pleasant. It is mainly very quiet. Unlike Daluoshui Village, which is too commercialized, Rig Village will be relatively quieter. The starry sky is bright at night, but it’s a pity that Apple phones can’t capture its beauty. I think that after several years, if I have the opportunity to visit Lugu Lake again, I would still like to stay in this homestay in Rig, where I feel at home and can feel the warmth and happiness of cats and dogs’ hands☺️.

The room is the same as the picture. The hotel is in a good location with a first-line lake view. You can see the Goddess Mountain on the left side of the balcony and the blue lake on the right side. You can see the blue lake while lying on the bed. The room is clean and well-equipped. It is a very good experience.
