GGuest UserThe lobby of the B&B is comfortable, and the front desk is attentive and has excellent service attitude. We stayed in a lake view terrace room, which had a larger sense of space. In addition, the room was decorated with mostly wood, and all the equipment and toilet facilities were carefully arranged, beautiful and tidy. A good breakfast was prepared in the morning. When we were about to leave the B&B, the person in charge also gave us two bags of local specialty dried apples as souvenirs, which was really heartwarming! I highly recommend that if you travel to Lugu Lake, you can consider staying in this 5-star service homestay, you will not be disappointed!

AAnonymous UserThis was by far the most satisfying hotel I stayed at in Lugu Lake! It's located halfway up the mountain, so you wake up to stunning views of the lake. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking. The hotel's afternoon tea and breakfast were both incredibly rich and delicious! There are also many activities to enjoy, like the bonfire party and bonfire night talks, which were a lot of fun! The public area on the 3rd floor is super photogenic, and the 'sky bird's nest' is a must-visit for photos – every snap feels like you're not even in China! The staff's service was warm and attentive. Since transportation isn't very convenient in Lugu Lake, the hotel offered unlimited shuttle services, which was truly thoughtful! I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit.

Mmastre_gamerHighly recommended! The hotel has a fantastic view of the lake and has direct access to the board walk. It is at the edge of the San Jia Chun village and it is a short 15min walk to Da Luo Shui village.
The hotel was very comfortable, with a memory foam pillow and a regular one, Projector and indoor heating.
Plus point is that they have 1 dog and 4 cats and super friendly owners.
Will definitely stay again!

GGuest UserAbsolutely brilliant hotel. Probably the only place in Lugu lake where foreigners could stay. The young staff have limited English but more than make up for it with their level of service and the translator app. They even set up a groups chat in WeChat just to advise us and ensure we were in touch.
Location is great (except for the fact that there’s the road below the hotel)
Hotel itself is brilliant. Phenomenal rooms. Great meals. Very personal touch and an ever willing / cheerful / helpful group of very competent youngsters managing. The whole crew looked under 30 but did a great job.
Was an absolute pity we only stayed 2 nights. Next time a week at least! Definitely coming back.

MM521165****The hotel boasts excellent design, and the staff are incredibly warm and attentive, making you feel right at home! Our room had a breathtaking view of Lugu Lake; we could open the window and see it, and it was just a short walk to the lakeside where we could even take a 'pig trough boat.' The owner is a local Mosuo person, very polite and hospitable. We also got to visit their unique grandmother's house. Getting to Mount Gemu Goddess was also very convenient, and we even asked the owner for travel tips. The cleanliness was exceptional, truly a five-star cleaning experience. There wasn't a speck of dust anywhere, the glass was sparkling clean without any fingerprints. The bathroom fixtures were TOTO brand, and the bedding was high-end and very comfortable! The breakfast was delicious and exquisite!
The morning mist over Lugu Lake is truly beautiful!
I highly recommend this place to everyone!

GGuest UserMy first review on Ctrip is dedicated to Muyu Guesthouse in Lugu Lake. As someone who doesn't like to do much research, I'm always afraid of being misled by online photos before booking. After browsing hundreds of hotels and guesthouses, I finally chose Muyu, which I suppose was fate. The result far exceeded my expectations: the entire guesthouse is decorated in warm orange tones, and every room exudes a cozy and romantic atmosphere. I especially loved the small garden on the first floor—among the guesthouses in the area, only Muyu has maintained its plants so meticulously, perfect for photos and for pets to play in. The short-haired landlady is efficient and warm, with a natural radiance in her conversation. From the spatial layout to the service details, her thoughtfulness is evident everywhere. Even the recommended local restaurants were a pleasant surprise. Lugu Lake is already a paradise worth visiting repeatedly, and Muyu's existence gives this longing a true home. After returning home, Mr. Z was inspired to write a poem for Muyu as a token of his gratitude:
Muyu: Emerald green hills creep up the steps at dawn, the reed gates open to reveal a lush dew.
Muyu The aroma of beans cooked in the spring fills the house; the cauldron, like clouds, is simmered, its surface shimmering like silk.
Occasionally, mountain birds are called to add to the wild vegetables; sometimes, the moon shines on the fragrant cup.
The most sentimental is the guest by the abyss, who rises at dawn to simmer a soup of fine, delicate ingredients.

PPaopaotangmateOur brief Lugu Lake trip with three adults and one child. The loft room was a bit small for four people, especially the bathroom area, which was tiny. There was barely any space around the sink to put anything, making it feel very cramped.
However, the guesthouse still left a wonderful impression on me. The housekeepers and the young ladies at the front desk were all incredibly warm and friendly, taking care of every little detail, which made us feel very cared for. This was definitely a 100% plus point. Our room offered direct views of Lugu Lake, and if we had woken up early enough, we might have even seen the morning mist... (But we're not early risers at all!)
The on-site restaurant also served excellent food. While breakfast wasn't a buffet, for a set breakfast, it was incredibly rich and comprehensive. It included congee, sandwiches (or corn cakes), fruit, yogurt, milk/coffee/soy milk, and even a small pot of rice noodles.
In the evenings, they even delivered complimentary sweet tremella soup, and there were fresh flower cakes in the room... The owner clearly puts a lot of thought into everything.
On the day we checked out, we had a small moment of unexpected joy: we saw messages left by other guests in the room. It suddenly made me feel that this is what a beautiful life is all about.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, right on the edge of Lugu Lake. As soon as you step out, you can see the lake directly. It's incredibly relaxing to sit on a small chair by the hotel entrance, facing Lugu Lake, whether you're just zoning out or using your phone.
If you turn right from the hotel exit and walk a bit, you'll find a pier where you can take a boat tour around Lugu Lake. There are also many seagulls at the pier, so you might want to bring some bread to feed them. The area around the pier also has more dining options, with KFC, Mixue Ice Cream & Tea, and various other restaurants mostly located there.
The hotel's service is superb. They offer a free shuttle service within a three-kilometer radius, and their concierge, Er Che, provided excellent service. He contacted us the day before we arrived to confirm our check-in details and the time our bus would arrive for pickup the next day. Every evening from 8 PM to 10 PM, they offer a complimentary sweet lotus seed soup, which they'll arrange to deliver to your room upon request. The hotel's breakfast is also quite good; a bowl of rice noodles, a bowl of congee, some side dishes, and an egg are more than enough to fill you up.
The hotel rooms are very clean, and the shower and toilet are completely separate. Overall, I am very satisfied with this hotel.

GGuest UserI chose Jingran on Ctrip for a long time in advance and finally stayed at Jingran. I was not disappointed, only pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and hygienic, and the layout was practical and reasonable. After entering the room, I just enjoyed myself and didn’t take any pictures. I thought I had to take two pictures when I was about to leave. The service was also very attentive. The guy at the front desk responded to every request and delivered things very quickly. Afternoon tea was provided, which was simple and exquisite. Although the coffee in the lobby was free, the taste did not disappoint. From this point of view, the operator must treat guests attentively. There is an independent large restaurant at the entrance of the hotel. Terraces and lawns are also rare in Lugu Lake. It is so enjoyable to bask in the sun under an umbrella and watch the boats coming and going. In short, Jingran is a hotel worth staying in and recommending.

The surroundings are absolutely stunning, with magnificent views of Lugu Lake – it felt like the lake view was brought right into our room. The service was very attentive, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The facilities are excellent, and the duplex layout provided ample space, allowing our family to stay very comfortably. It's truly perfect for family trips with children, and I wholeheartedly recommend it!
