"Hotel is in the city centre, so its very noisy but if you book a room here then you should already know, its glorious inside, it's massive! Loved the continent location of the hotel across the road is the castle too, very close to the train station loved all the convince. Rooms need a refurb but the hotel staff do a wonderful job of cleaning. Bed is super comfy and the room is quite big, TV is basic freeview."

"I had a very good experience staying at Hilton Cardiff. The hotel felt extremely safe and well managed throughout my stay. One thing I noticed is that they are very strict about not allowing visitors after 9 PM. At first, it was a bit disappointing, but honestly, it also made me feel much safer knowing they take security seriously. The service was excellent from beginning to end. The staff were always kind, attentive, and always willing to help with anything I needed, which made the whole experience feel very welcoming. My room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. It was also cleaned during my stay, which I really appreciated and added to the overall comfort. The location is another big advantage the hotel is just steps away from Cardiff Castle, making it perfect for exploring the city. It’s also only about a 20 minute walk from Cardiff Central railway station, which made getting there and around very convenient. One morning I decided to try the breakfast buffet, and it was definitely worth it. There were many options to choose from, including pastries, hot food, fruit, and drinks. They also had coffee machines with very good coffee, which made the breakfast experience even better. Another highlight was the bar downstairs it had a great atmosphere and was a really nice place to relax after a day of exploring. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cardiff, especially if you value comfort, excellent service, a great location, and above all, feeling safe during your stay."

"Booked here as I’m having an exam at Cardiff in the early morning. Soundproof was AWFUL even though I asked for a quiet room. Even with earplugs I can hear people opening and closing the doors at 2 AM and later as people jumping (?) on the floor above. I guess I only managed to sleep 3-4 hours that night, before the exam that matters a lot to me. It was DREADFUL. I don’t understand why I was given a room just opposite to the fire door (and being sandwiched between other rooms) even when I asked a quiet room - probably because of my race? The room itself was small, without table and chairs, and without kettle. Window cannot be opened. The coffee machine in the lobby dispenses hot water for free, and staff members at reception were helpful in this case. Hygiene was fine but lime scale and grease were visible on the shower head."

"This new hotel is very clean and perfect location except the door lock is not working properly.  It is not perfectly fit and the room except to pull harder to lock it.  Besides, the room has no telephone which causes inconvenience if you need help. I spent an hour to keep going down to look for help several times.  I suggest the hotel could leave a note of the front desk phone.number for the clients convenience 🙏🙏"

"Came here with a friend and overall had a good experience. The staff were very friendly. However, the location was a bit hard to find. Even though it's right next to the train station, it's not very obvious. We couldn't find it at first. Later, when we ordered food delivery, the delivery person circled downstairs for over ten minutes trying to find it, and I eventually had to go out in the rain to meet him 😂 The room was quite small, like a renovated budget hotel, but it had all the necessary amenities. For the price, I was generally quite satisfied. Our window faced the train tracks, but it wasn't too noisy."

"I extended for a late checkout, since it’s the night after concert. So I went back to bed after breakfast, and DONG!!! Fire alarm! VERY LOUD that every sleepy soul would wake up frustratingly. Turns out it’s just a test? And the reception said it’s the policy to do every Monday 10am? But that time was 11.30! Anyway if they have planned for it they should tell guest upfront so I don’t have to wake up panicly and rushed out to the fire exit, needed to go to the reception to restore the keycard cause everything will be reset after the alarm(as they told me). This is ridiculously unacceptable. It’s overpriced too but this subject is known and accepted since it’s the concert night."

"Typical Holiday Inn Express with clean comfortable rooms, showers and varied breakfast. It is somewhat out of the way so if you are looking to have a pint or bite to eat elsewhere you need to drive. On the plus side there is a small Londis about 1 minute walk from the hotel. The carpark is shared between guests at this hotel and the Staybridge Suites meaning it is difficult to get a space unless you arrive by late afternoon. The alternative is to park on the main road and move it by 8am so not ideal. Check-in was painful as got served by rather grumpy receptionist who clearly lacks customer service skills and made me feel like I was putting her out by asking for a room (if possible) towards the very end of the corridor. Probably won't stay here again as initial check-in was painful, car park was too small and nothing close by in terms of food or drink."

"Greeted by lovely staff who explained everything clearly! Room was somewhat dated but expected for one of the last family owned hotels in Cardiff! The rooms were clean, had character and had everything you could need right there in the room! Even though its on the high street, I couldn’t hear a thing from my room and had a great nights sleep!"

"The room was average with no ceiling lights but both double beds were comfortable. The bathroom has a bathtub and it’s a pretty high climb for an average height person to take a shower. Plus the floor always got super wet because of the shower water. The shower was also broken so there was more water leaking behind the shower than on the person bathing. There are no face towel hangers and the heated towel hanging rod was not heated at all. The buffet had the exact same things everyday, including the cut fruits 🫣"

"It’s about a 10-minute walk from Cardiff Station to the hotel. The location is very convenient. However, there is no parking available, so it may be inconvenient for those traveling by car. I think it’s fine if you just need a place to sleep. Please note that it is not the kind of hotel you would expect from Novotel or Ibis. The room was spacious and comfortable. There was a window, but it could not be opened. The room had a hairdryer and a safe, but no refrigerator. カーディフ駅からホテルへ徒歩10分ほどで到着できます。 立地はとても良いです。 しかし駐車場は無く、車で移動される方には不便だとおもいます。 ただ寝泊まりする分には良いと思います。 ノボテルやイビスのようなホテルでは無いのでご注意ください。 部屋は広く、快適に過ごせました。 窓はありますが開閉ができないタイプのものでした。 ドライヤーや金庫はありますが冷蔵庫はありません。"
