"The lobby and facilities are beautifully decorated in a classic, elegant style. All the staff are friendly. I can't quite remember his name, but a male staff member whose name started with 'Xiao' on his name tag was exceptionally kind. He helped me call a round-trip taxi to the park and made a great effort to communicate with me, a foreigner."

"It rained the day I arrived, and I didn't have the energy to do any more sightseeing. I arrived an hour and a half early. I was originally supposed to check in at 3 PM, but the owner saw me working hard in the lobby doing my judicial scrivener practice questions, so he let me check in an hour early. The desk and chair in the room were perfect for reading."

"Positive aspects: The hotel is right next to Katakura-kan, about a 10-minute walk from Kami-Suwa Station, 8 minutes from Lake Suwa, and a FamilyMart convenience store is a 3-minute walk away. It's a Route Inn chain hotel, and has most of the basic amenities expected of a three-star hotel. Cleanliness and common facilities are adequate. Because it's a small town and the off-season, it's very quiet. A notable feature is its own free onsen (hot spring) public bath. The room was booked late, and the 350 yen room rate including a buffet breakfast was reasonable. Negative aspects: The hotel seems to have been operating for a long time and is somewhat outdated. Because it's a small town, there are no restaurants near the hotel; you need to go to the train station area to eat."

"The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from JR Suwa Station. There is a shuttle bus service at certain times. The hotel faces Lake Suwa. I booked a Japanese-style lake view room, and the view from the window was very nice. Room service staff will make the bed in the room. You can tell the front desk the specific time. The hotel has two buildings. You need to go to the other building for breakfast, which is just average. The hotel's hot spring is nice. There are various types of hot springs and pools, including an open-air hot spring. The men's and women's pools are switched every other day."

"Private hot spring bath: very worth the experience. The room is also very big. There are toiletries in the room, the sanitary conditions are very good, very close to the lake, just go out, walk to Shangyu to visit Yuyu for about 20 minutes, climb the top stone park for about 40 minutes, very suitable for travel and vacation, next time you may also consider here"
