Canton Hotel Guangzhou, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

It's truly touching to see an old building get a new lease on life, and honestly, I'd been following the opening news of this hotel even before my visit. Overall, I think the Hilton Garden Inn Guangzhou is absolutely stunning 🤩 and I really, really love the decor 💕. I also want to thank the hotel manager for arranging a room upgrade, and Manager Ryan for the thoughtful welcome and introduction to the hotel 😎. The only slight drawback is that the hotel's cleanliness still needs improvement. There was a lot of dust and debris left over from the renovation in the room, which honestly shouldn't happen. I'm sure it can be quickly resolved with a thorough cleaning. Also, the breakfast 🍳 was a bit disappointing. There were many continental options, but hardly any of Guangzhou's famous dim sum, which is a real shame. I hope with some adjustments over time, this place can become even better.

Everything was great! It's a newly opened hotel so it's very clean. The front desk staff, Xiao Xu, was also very helpful. The location is convenient for getting around too.

The environment here is superb, and it's definitely the most affordable hotel in its class. I have to commend the room service – the front desk staff patiently and diligently helped me resolve various issues during my stay, like a lost delivery and room cleaning, even following up with multiple calls. It was a very comfortable five-day stay.

The room was clean and the hotel's overall environment was great. The staff were all very enthusiastic and responsive. The location is excellent, right next to the Museum of the Nanyue King (Palace District), and close to Beijing Road Pedestrian Street without being noisy. Definitely worth staying here.

The environment is great, and it's very quiet at night. The food is also good. The only downside is that it's a bit far from the subway station.

Being a Hilton, I naturally had certain expectations... but I didn't expect (1) no robot delivery service for room service, and (2) the shampoo, conditioner, and bath gel to be inferior to even Hampton by Hilton's offerings. However! Overall, it was still decent! At the very least, all the staff were friendly and helpful, and they spoke English! I ordered room service, the pasta was ¥88 and it was quite good!

The ancient cultural heritage here is endless, with Beijing Road Pedestrian Street weaving through history and modernity. The Museum of the Nanyue King Palace is just a stone's throw away. It would've been perfect if it had floor-to-ceiling windows. It's a decent hotel, nothing to write home about. The location is okay. The room isn't big. It's relatively new, but the bathroom design is a bit odd; there's no proper door, which is a bit awkward. The service is quite good, and the front desk staff are professional.
