"The property is perfect in terms of quality but accessibility it not convenient as you need to walk up several sets of stairs to enter the complex. Not ideal if you have heavy, cumbersome luggage. Having the facility to wash your clothes on site if a massive bonus and made it very convenient. Especially during my stay when it was hot, humid and severely raining. Overall I couldn’t not fault the location. Central to everything you want to see and do in Guangzhou. I highly recommend it if you on a budget or you don’t like busy crowds or you want to have a feel for local cuisine and lifestyle."

The surrounding residential area is well-equipped with everything you need – downstairs, there are plenty of restaurants and small shops, so grabbing a bite or daily necessities is a breeze. The room itself is spacious and bright, spotlessly clean with no strange odors. The mattress is just the right firmness, ensuring a really good night's sleep. All the amenities are provided, covering all your daily needs, so the value for money is outstanding. Plus, it's very quiet at night."

"Facilities: I think it's a bit old, but then again, it has been open for quite a while. The room layout was decent. It was quite stuffy and had a moldy smell when I first entered because the air conditioning wasn't turned on beforehand. It got better after I turned on the AC. The air conditioning worked well enough. The bathroom glass had water stains, which definitely makes it feel older. The bathroom towels weren't dry enough. I asked housekeeping for two new ones later, and those were warm and dried. Much better. The microwave was Panasonic; I didn't pay much attention to the other appliances, but I thought they were decent. Cleanliness: I think there's room for improvement; it wasn't terrible, and I didn't find anything specific to complain about. I just feel like using some stain remover would make a big difference. The bedding felt clean. The cutlery and cups were also clean, apart from the damp bathroom towels. Environment: The external environment is good. It's right next to Xingsheng Road, not far from Taikoo Hui, and very close to the Tianhe North business district. However, it doesn't seem to have direct subway access, so you'll need to take a taxi. Service: Generally good. The attitude and responsiveness were both fine."
