Freshly made noodles were also delicious. Dinner was at a random restaurant next to the hotel, I forget the name, something like Yu or Shu. One mildly spicy and four non-spicy dishes—classic dishes to eat with rice, like braised chicken, twice-cooked pork, and home-style tofu. Everything was delicious. The portions were large; six people couldn't finish five dishes. You can always trust Sichuan chefs. Every meal on this trip was delicious and affordable.

Finally, a friendly young lady at the front desk changed my room, which calmed my anxiety. On the way to change rooms, I met the ”uncle” who came to fix the toilet and he looked very impatient...
